So yep, I saw the movie last night and just about died. I used to ship Bella with everyone after watching Twilight, but New Moon has officially made me anti-Edward and a 110% BlackSwan shipper!

I'm so pissed that they never got to kiss though!! Damn Edward, he's ALWAYS in the way! Ugh, they were sooo close! I was actually booing Edward in the theater. Jacob and Bella make my heart sing. And oh my gosh, Taylor is so flipping hot! That 30 pounds of muscle sure did him and Jacob some good. I was practically drooling.

New Moon currently holds the number one spot on Fandango.com for advanced ticket sales, making it the top-selling pre-release for the company in the last decade. According to four people close to the movie, "The Twilight Saga: New Moon" sold more than $22.2 million worth of tickets in midnight shows last night, beating a record set this summer by "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince."

Summit's official estimate for midnight ticket sales is $26.27 million.

I never expected it to beat HP. But being a non-HP fan, I love it! I'll probably be going to see NM two more times: once with my mom and again with a group of friends who were originally going to go with me until they heard it was a midnight showing and backed out due to "not liking big groups of people."

The sparkling thing doesn't bother me. I actually like Stephanie Meyer's non-stereotypical take on vampires. The thing I just don't like is the E/B relationship. Or Bella's immaturity. And while I haven't read it, I've had people tell me that Jake and E/B's daughter are destined for each other, which kinda creeps me out (which probably seems odd since I'm in love with relationships like Patty/Sam, Piper/Leo, and Phoebe/Cole).

I think another thing that might make it extra creepy for me is that Jake loved Bella before he apparently finds out Renesmee is "The One." That would be like if Sam fell for Patty, Patty chose Victor, and so Sam then went and fell in love with Piper. It's just...ew. Yucky. Creepy. It just shouldn't happen.
