Previously, on Charmed: Reset Reality… [Scene: Manor. Attic. PRUE, PIPER, PHOEBE, and the ghost of PATRICIA HALLIWELL are standing there, along with LEO WYATT and COLE TURNER.]PHOEBE: Did you and Sam have a daughter? (PATTY nods.)[Scene: P3. PAIGE MATTHEWS walks up to the front doors, finding that a long line has already formed. She sighs and gets to the end of the line. A young man, GLENN BELLAND, walks up behind her.]GLENN: Paige? Paige Matthews? Are my eyes deceiving me or is it really you? (PAIGE spins around.)[Scene: Halloween. Party Hall. Dance floor. PRUE, dressed as CLEOPATRA, and a MAN, dressed as MARC ANTHONY, are still dancing and talking. PRUE has seemed to completely forgotten about the new addition to the family and has finally relaxed.]PRUE: You know, we’ve been talking for about an hour now, and you haven’t told me your name. “MARC ANTHONY”: Matthew Capiello. [Scene: Manor. Living room. The Charmed Ones and LEO are there.]LEO: You don’t understand. The Gathering Storm isn’t your enemy…it’s you. [Scene: Bay General. Examination room. PIPER and DR. AVA NICOLAE are there.]DR. NICOLAE: Congratulations, Mrs. Halliwell, you’re pregnant. [Scene: Manor. Attic. THE SOURCE roars as his body shatters outwards and its particles fly in all different directions.]
[Scene: Underworld. THE ORACLE is seated on THE SOURCE's throne, grinning, with her crystal ball seated in her lap. She grabs the arms of the throne.]THE ORACLE: Long live The Queen! (Suddenly, her eyes turn into empty black holes and raging flames dance within them.)[Scene: Manor. PHOEBE's bedroom. COLE hands PIPER an envelope with “Phoebe” across the front of it.]COLE: No. I’m not going to put her through anymore pain, Piper. Just give this to her before…Just please give it to her. (PIPER clutches the envelope between her fingers and slowly nods.) Thank you… (He shimmers out.)[Scene: MATT’s apartment. Living room. His spirit board is on the table and the pointer is resting on the letter “C.” MATT holds his hand up, staring at what he just wrote down.]MATT: “Imbolc.” [Scene: Manor. Attic. The Charmed Ones and the ANGEL OF DESTINY are there.]ANGEL OF DESTINY: The Power of Four is too strong, Piper. It was never meant to exist. [Scene: Manor. Entry way. The Charmed Ones, the ANGEL OF DESTINY, and the ANGEL OF DEATH are there. PRUE’s spirit is hovering above her body, before a portal to the afterlife.]PIPER: The only reason one of us has to die is because our magic has to be completely erased from existence to keep the balance, right? ANGEL OF DESTINY: Yes… PIPER: So, what if…what if I give up my powers instead? [Scene: Manor. Entry way. PIPER is glowing as she holds the hands of the ANGEL OF DESTINY. She gasps as two spheres of white light fly from her body and then hover above her head, before exploding in a bright flash. As he releases PIPER’s hands, the house shakes and the chandelier emits a bright white-blue glow, which rains down over PRUE, PHOEBE, and PAIGE. PRUE stands up and joins hands with PHOEBE and PAIGE.]ANGEL OF DESTINY: It is done. (The ANGEL OF DESTINY dissolves into a spray of golden and white light, resembling a shooting star, which flies over their heads, straight towards the front doors. The doors magically open, allowing the golden-white beam to fly out the crack, and then they close.)Oh Brotherhood, Where Art Thou?
Teaser
[Scene: Underworld. THE QUEEN's lair. A fiery explosion dies down to reveal THE QUEEN seated on her throne with a raised hand and flaming eyes. As her eyes return to normal, she looks to the demon kneeling at her right. She lifts her head slightly and he stands, revealing only the back of his head.]THE QUEEN: The Brotherhood is protected by ancient magick, as you well know, so I’m unable to find out what, exactly, their plan is. This is where you come in. I scratch your back, (she raises a brow) you scratch mine? (The DEMON bows his head and then reaches out to take her hand, which he pulls to his lips. He lightly kisses the back of her hand.)DEMON: Your wish is my command. (THE QUEEN smiles and the DEMON shimmers out. THE QUEEN holds out her hand and her crystal ball appears in her palm. The mist clears to reveal a type of conference room with several different demons sitting at a large oak table. However, there are several empty seats scattered between them, too. She leans forward to get a better look as the demon at the head of the table. He begins to speak, but suddenly the crystal clouds with mist again. She growls in anger and flames out, crystal ball and all.)[Cut to the conference room. The demon at the head of the table, XENON, is flushed with anger as he addresses what’s left of the demons at the table. To his left is an Asian demon, KLEA, and to his right is an African demon, BERITH.]XENON: (yelling) She’s killed far too many of us already, and she must not be allowed to continue! (Cries of agreement ring out around the table.) It was never that…that oracle’s place to take His throne! The Brotherhood doesn’t answer to a lowly oracle, we answer to a Source! The Source! DEMON #2: But how do we stop her? To go against her directly would be suicide! After all, we can’t ignore the fact that whether she deserves them or not, she still possesses the powers of The Source. (XENON, KLEA, and BERITH share looks. KLEA rises to her feet.)KLEA: The whereabouts of a time portal has recently come to our attention. DEMON #3: You don’t mean a- BERITH: Yes, a natural time portal. (A wave of concerned murmurs spread across the room.)DEMON #4: But natural time portals are unpredictable! There’s no way to know how strong one is, let alone if it possesses enough magic to take get someone both to and from without collapsing! DEMON #2: Not to mention, there’s no way to direct where you end up! BERITH: On the contrary, Jorrah. Since its discovery, I’ve undergone several experiments. I believe that by blessing this, (he produces a heavy jade amulet on a silver chain) with the combined power of the Brotherhood, it will act as a magical compass for the wearer. DEMON #3: But what about the frailty of the portal itself? It may or may not have enough power to get someone both there and back. KLEA: We’ve also considered that. There will be a separate spell, a failsafe, that will begin to feed off the power of the Brotherhood as a whole, in the event that the portal begins to falter. DEMON #4: But that’ll severely weaken us- XENON: It must be done! The Brotherhood has always answered to The Source and we will continue to do so. JORRAH: So if- XENON: When! JORRAH: So, when we go through with this…are we going back to warn The Source of The Oracle’s betrayal? XENON: No, further. DEMON #3: How much further? XENON: Eighteen-ninety-five. DEMON #4: What for? What could possibly be in that time that we’d need? (XENON lightly taps his fingers along the edge of the wooden conference desk, then he looks up and his eyes have now turned red with black cat eye slits.)XENON: Belthazor! Clickable Credits.

{SCENE: The song “Chocolate,” written by Lightbody, Gary McCelland, Mark Quinn, Jonathan Connolly, and Nathan and sung by Snow Patrol, is heard as stock shots of San Francisco are shown while the Guest Credits are rolled.}
Act One
[Scene: Manor. PIPER’s room. The room is completely empty, except for a few boxes and a bed frame, which is in pieces on the floor. PIPER HALLIWELL is standing in the doorway, leaning on the frame. She’s staring wistfully at the room. PRUDENCE HALLIWELL comes up behind her, carrying a large box.]PRUE: Sure you don’t wanna stay? (PIPER smiles and turns to face her sister.)PIPER: You should be happy we’re moving out, Prue. (She flicks a wrist at the bare room.) Now you get your old room back. You can’t honestly tell me you didn’t miss the extra space. (PRUE twists her neck and peers into the room.)PRUE: Well… (She smiles.) I always did love that fireplace. (She stares at it.) Do you remember how Mom used to let us roast marshmallows in it back when we used to share this room, before she… (She looks down, emitting a small breath. PIPER shakes her head sorrowfully.)PIPER: No…I wish I could. (She lightly bites her lip at PRUE’s disappointed expression.) Maybe we should plan to do that again sometime? (PRUE nods.)PRUE: Yeah, that’d be nice. (She suddenly shakes her head.) Anyway, this box is getting pretty heavy, so I’m going to take it down to the moving truck. PIPER: Okay, I think I’ve still got a few boxes in the attic that I wanted to take with me. PRUE: I already got that old box of toys. PIPER: I was actually thinking about some of our old baby clothes. PRUE: Okay, but make sure not to grab anything too heavy! (PIPER rolls her eyes playfully.)PIPER: I promise! (She disappears down the hall as PRUE starts to descend the stairs.)[Scene: PAIGE’s apartment complex. Parking lot. PHOEBE HALLIWELL and PAIGE MATTHEWS are both carrying large boxes as they walk. Two burly men move around the slow walking sisters, each carrying an end table.]PAIGE: I still can’t believe I actually agreed to roommates again. (She groans.) What was I thinking? PHOEBE: Oh, come on, Paige! We’re not that bad! (She bites her lip a little.) Although I will warn you, hot water can be a problem. (Again, PAIGE groans.) Prue’s so anal about it, she actually has a schedule. PAIGE: You’re kidding! (PHOEBE stares.) You’re not kidding. Great, there goes my leisure moments every morning. PHOEBE: But there is a bright side. (PAIGE raises her brow questioningly.) At least you won’t have Leo orbing in and waking you up at five in the morning for a demon vanquish…the shattering glass will probably just wake you up right out of your sleep. PAIGE: Yes, I can see how much more comforting that is. (They reach PAIGE’s green VW Bug, and she opens the door and starts to set her box on the back seat.)PHOEBE: So, have you heard from Henry? (PAIGE smiles sadly.)PAIGE: Yeah, I talked to him this morning, actually. His father hung on a week longer than they thought he would. PHOEBE: (sincerely) I’m so sorry for his family. (PAIGE nods.)PAIGE: So I guess his plans have changed and now he’s decided to spend some extra vacation time so he can stay there with his mother and sister to help them deal with his father’s affairs. (PHOEBE slides her box into the backseat next to PAIGE’s.)PHOEBE: How long is he staying back east? PAIGE: Two more weeks. (PAIGE shuts the door and they start walking back to the apartment.) So what about you? (She flicks her eyes over her sister.) Have you heard from Cole at all? (PHOEBE shakes her head.)PHOEBE: I checked with the law firm and they said he took a leave of absence. PAIGE: Have you tried a (the men that were carrying the dressers pass them again and she lowers her voice) summoning spell? (PHOEBE nods.)PHOEBE: It didn’t work. I assume that means he doesn’t want to be found. (PAIGE shakes her head.)PAIGE: That just doesn’t make sense… (PHOEBE lifts a brow.)PHOEBE: You almost sound worried. PAIGE: I’m not worried about Cole, Phoebe. (She wraps her arm around her sister’s shoulders.) I’m worried about my sister. (PHOEBE leans her head on PAIGE’s shoulder as they walk.)PHOEBE: Thanks for thinking of me, Missy Paige. (PAIGE smiles.) I guess I just have to wait it out a little longer, then. I’m sure he’ll turn up eventually, he always does… [Scene: PIPER and LEO’s new house. Master bedroom. LEO WYATT walks in talking on a cell phone.]LEO: Yes, Piper, I’m here. (He chuckles.) It’s fantastic! I’ve already moved in the dressers and the mattress. Now, all I need is the frame so we can set it up for tonight. (He glances to the side, which is where a large white mattress is propped up against the wall.) No, you need to stop worrying. I promise that I’ve got everything under control here. (He rolls his eyes.) Not really, I still don’t think we really need these things. I’ve already got the house phone hooked up and- [Cut to the Manor. PIPER is walking out the front door with her cell phone to her ear.]PIPER: We need them because that’s what normal people have, Leo. And besides, it’s just a generally good thing to have because what if I need to talk to you and for some reason you can’t hear my call? I know The Elders are still keeping me on your radar, but it’s not like it hasn’t happened before. (She glances out to the street, where some movers are lifting a television into the moving truck.) Just trust me, you’ll learn to love your cell phone. (She smiles.) Love you too, bye. (She hangs up as PRUE walks out.)PRUE: Leo? (PIPER nods.)PIPER: He’s still complaining about having to use a cell phone. (She rolls her eyes.) He needs to get with the times! (PRUE shrugs.)PRUE: At least he’s not AWOL. (PIPER snorts.) No pun intended. PIPER: I’m sorry about Matt, Prue. (PRUE waves her hands, annoyed.)PRUE: Don’t even mention his name, thank you! (PIPER pats her sister’s arm comfortingly.) Have you heard from our other lovely sisters yet? PIPER: Paige left a voicemail saying that she and Phoebe would be over here in a half an hour to start loading things into your--erm, her--room, so we’d hopefully have it cleared by then. (PRUE looks down at her watch.)PRUE: We’re right on track, then. I just saw one of the movers taking out the frame for your bed, so I can start moving my things in. In fact, I think I’ll go do that now. (She walks inside and PIPER follows.)PIPER: Need help? PRUE: No, I’ve got it. You shouldn’t be straining yourself anyway, remember? (PIPER taps her foot impatiently.)PIPER: I’m pretty much done with everything of mine and Leo’s, though. I don’t have anything else to do. PRUE: Take a rest? (She lightly taps PIPER’s abdomen, which has a small baby bump visible from under her shirt.) You wouldn’t want to overstress my niece, would you? PIPER: (grouchily) Your niece is an inch (she uses her fingers to emphasize) long! PRUE: Exactly! The littler the person, the more easily stressed they are. (PIPER glares.)PIPER: I’m going to go make lunch. (She leaves and PRUE smirks as she heads up the stairs.)[Scene: Underworld. Demonic pub. The room is filled with all sorts of creatures - ranging in size from giants to dwarfs, some with rabbit-like ears and some with fifteen eyes. The smoke filled scene appears like something right out of “Star Wars.” At the back of the pub, at a lone table, a dark haired man is hunched over a large metal cup. He raises his hand, signaling to the siren-like waitress that he’d like another. Suddenly, a man shimmers in, blocking the view of the table and the person at it. He’s the same brown haired man from THE QUEEN's lair.]DEMON: You know, you’re a hard demon to find. (COLE TURNER, haggard with thick black stubble and bloodshot eyes, tilts his head up. He growls.)COLE: Go away. DEMON: Isn’t this the same place you spent a month at after Abby dumped your sorry ass? (COLE slams his fist onto the counter.)COLE: (to the waitress) Another drink, damnit! DDMON: Sorry, but I think you’ve had enough. (He snaps his fingers and COLE’s drink vanishes. COLE staggers to his feet, furious. He takes a swing, but before he knows it, the other man has him by the throat, pushing him against the wall.)COLE: (furious) What do you want, Drake? (DRAKE DE'MON smiles coyly at his old friend and slowly lets him slide back to his wobbly feet.) DRAKE: Look, I’d love to let you wallow in your own filth, but we’ve got more important things to do. (He dusts off his crisp white shirt.) I need your help. COLE: Maybe I don’t want to help you. (He starts to sit back down, but DRAKE pulls him up again. He snarls.) Shouldn’t you be off romancing some unsuspecting mortal? (DRAKE gasps in mock shock.)DRAKE: What do you take me for? COLE: Why are you even in the Underworld? You know they have a price on your head. DRAKE: So do you. COLE: But I don’t detest being here. DRAKE: Okay, okay! (He holds up his hands defensively and rolls his eyes.) That’s actually the reason I came. I wanted to give my congratulations to our new Queen and, you know, see if she might consider pardoning me. (He waves his hand dismissively.) After all, she never would’ve gotten that position as The Source’s right hand mistress if I hadn’t pulled a few strings. (He frowns.) Granted, that was only after that week we spent together in Paris, talk about flings…but good god, she is quite the magnificent creature. She really doesn’t get enough credit… (He suddenly shakes his head.) But that’s beside the point! COLE: (angrily) Get to it then! DRAKE: She agreed to pardon me…on one condition. COLE: (bored) What? DRAKE: I get her inside information on (whispering) the Brotherhood. (COLE’s eyes get a little larger as DRAKE glances around.) Since, technically, I’m still part of the Brotherhood, I can get in and out of Headquarters to spy on their meetings, where even her crystal ball can’t see. COLE: (irritated) What does this have to do with me? DRAKE: Look, this isn’t a safe place to be discussing this, why don’t we just go find your beloved witch- (COLE’s eyes darken.)COLE: Don’t play games with me, Drake. DRAKE: What game? (COLE slams his fist down on the table.)COLE: You know damn well what game! DRAKE: No, I’m afraid I- COLE: (hissing) Phoebe’s dead! (DRAKE grins slyly.)DRAKE: You really haven’t been out much lately, have you? (He slaps his hand down on COLE's shoulder and shimmers them out of the pub.)BREAK

Act Two
[Scene: Manor. Kitchen. PRUE is sitting at the table, eating half of a turkey sandwich without mayo. PIPER is bent down across the room, placing a dish on the floor with some canned cat food in it for KIT, who eagerly starts to eat it up as PIPER pulls her hand away. She lightly strokes KIT’s head and then walks over to the table, where she takes a chair across from PRUE. PRUE nods her head in approval.]PRUE: Nobody beats your turkey sandwiches. (PIPER smiles as she grabs a soda cracker from a plate next to her.) Aren’t you going to have one? PIPER: No. (She rubs her abdomen.) I’ve been feeling a little queasy lately. (PRUE frowns.)PRUE: Remind me about the fun perks of pregnancy if I ever start talking about wanting to have kids. (PIPER nibbles on her cracker.)PIPER: I guess it’s a sign of a healthy pregnancy, but… (She frowns.) I guess I should be thankful that I haven’t started the puke fests at three A.M. yet. PRUE: At least the migraines have stopped, though…right? PIPER: Oh yeah, the prescription that Dr. Nicolae gave me worked like a charm. (She frowns.) Pun not intended. (PRUE laughs and takes another bite of her sandwich.)PHOEBE’s VOICE: We’re home! (PRUE and PIPER look toward the doorway as the sounds of footsteps nears. PHOEBE and PAIGE burst through.)PAIGE: What smells so good? (PRUE holds up her sandwich.)PRUE: Leftover turkey from Piper’s dinner the other night. (PAIGE’s stomach rumbles.)PIPER: What’s that? PAIGE: What? (PIPER points to the cage in PAIGE’s hand.)PIPER: That. (PAIGE holds up the cage that contains her blue and white parakeet.)PAIGE: Oscar? (PIPER nods impatiently.) Uh…he’s my bird. PIPER: I can see that. (She folds her arms.) You do realize we have a cat, right? (She glances over at KIT, who is still eating her lunch.)PAIGE: Correction, you don’t have a cat anymore. We (she drags her finger around to point at PRUE, PHOEBE, and herself) have a cat and now we (she swirls her finger again) have a bird. (PIPER glares.) What? You didn’t expect me to give him up, did you? Cats and birds can coexist. PHOEBE: Uh, Paige? (PAIGE looks up and then follows PHOEBE’s line of vision over to KIT, who is now staring wide eyed at OSCAR, who’s pulled his feathers in and moved to the far end of the perch.)PRUE: Maybe you should just keep him in your room? PHOEBE: With the door shut… [Scene: DRAKE’s Penthouse. DRAKE and COLE shimmer in and COLE roughly pulls away from DRAKE. He looks furious.]COLE: What do you mean she isn’t dead?! DRAKE: Just what I said. She’s alive and well. (He strolls off in the direction of the bedroom and COLE follows him.)COLE: But I- DRAKE: Didn’t actually see her die? (He heads over to his mirror and stares at himself, then he snaps his fingers and his clothing changes.) All of them are alive, actually. COLE: Impossible! (DRAKE laughs as his clothes change again, this time to an Elizabethan costume. He wrinkles his nose at his reflection.)DRAKE: I think that’s a bit too early. (He snaps his fingers again and finds himself in a handsome late 1890’s style black and white tailored suit.) Ooh, I think we hit the jackpot. (He turns to COLE to see him fuming.) Oh, where were we again? Oh yes, impossible. (He chuckles.) Of all things to say, and you choose impossible? How about “It’s a miracle!” or “I can’t believe it!” or even, as boring as it is, “How?” COLE: Destiny- DRAKE: Destiny smestiny. (He rolls his eyes.) The point is, Piper gave up her powers and now your lovely little Charmed One is worried sick about you. (COLE stares at him, speechless. He studies COLE and then waves his hand nonchalantly. The stubble vanishes from COLE’s face, his dirty clothing is replaced with a stylish suit similar to DRAKE’s, and his hair becomes clean and trimmed.) Now that’s better! (A hand mirror appears in his hand and he holds it out to his friend.) What do you think? (COLE ignores the mirror.)COLE: (shocked) She’s alive. (He blinks.) She’s alive. (He looks at DRAKE.) I have to see her! (He shimmers out. DRAKE glares.)DRAKE: I don’t even get a simple, “Thank you, Drake, for pulling me out of the terrible demonic pub I was in and telling me that my life isn’t over.” (He sets the hand mirror down, adjusts his black bow tie, and shimmers out after COLE.)[Scene: Manor. Paige’s bedroom. PAIGE walks into the empty room holding up OSCAR’s cage. She looks at him as she shuts the door behind her.]PAIG: So, whaddya think, Little Buddy? (OSCAR puffs his light blue feathers and chirps. PAIGE gazes at the empty room.) It’s definitely bigger than my old one, by like…two times as big. (A smile flits across her lips.) I guess that’ll give me more room to paint, right? And… (She looks around.) I think I might be able to put at least three of my paintings up in this room! (Again, OSCAR chirps. PAIGE walks over to the windows and sets OSCAR’s cage down.)PAIGE: Sorry Bud, but I’m going to have to leave you in here a while so I can get help move my stuff in, okay? (She winks.) And I promise not to let that mean ol’ Kit bother you. (She blows OSCAR a kiss and then leaves the room, making sure to shut the door. As she starts to walk down the hall, DrRAKE shimmers in. She stops dead in her tracks and holds out her hand, looking for something to orb in defense.)DRAKE: Now where did he- (He notices PAIGE.) Oh! (He flashes a grin and holds out his hand.) I didn’t see you there I- PAIGE: Box! (An ice chest sized box in the corner of the hall orbs out. PAIGE thrusts out her hand in DRAKE’s direction.) Demon! (The box orbs in and heads towards DRAKE, who ducks and the box smashes into the wall, sending foam peanuts everywhere.)DRAKE: (defensively) Hey now, what have you got against me? (He narrows his eyes.) I haven’t stood you up before, have I? (He winces under PAIGE’s angered look.) Oooh, was it a one night stand? Was I drunk? Honestly, I don’t remember- (PRUE and PIPER come rushing up the stairs.)PRUE: We heard a crash- (She stops as she sees DRAKE. PRUE looks between PAIGE and DRAKE, then lifts a curious brow.)DRAKE: Oh, how lovely! You must be Prue… (He holds out his hand.) Drake De’mon, it’s a pleasure to meet you. PRUE: How do you know my name? DRAKE: You’re a Charmed One, everyone knows your names, silly. But I knew you from the others because of your eyes, you’re the only one with blue eyes. (He shrugs.) I do a lot of reading. PIPER: (suspiciously) Paige, what’s going on? Who is this guy? (She notices the packing materials.) And why are there peanuts everywhere? PAIGE: One, I didn’t know it was a box full of peanuts, and two, he’s a demon! I saw him shimmer into the hallway! (DRAKE snorts indignantly.)DRAKE: Just because I shimmered that makes me bad? PAIGE: Shimmering equals demon and demon equals bad! (She suddenly shakes her head.) Why am I even arguing this with you? DRAKE: Oh, I beg to differ. What if I’m a Phoenix? Phoenixes can shimmer and they’re witches. PIPER: Are you? DRAKE: Am I what? PIPER: (irritated) A Phoenix! DRAKE: No, but what if I was? I mean, really, it’s horribly offensive. Stereotypes, I tell ya, always making being a demon sound like a bad thing! PAIGE: It is a bad thing! Demons are…evil! DRAKE: I’m about as evil as your green skin, thank you very much! PRUE: Okay, okay! So if you’re not here to kill us, (she raises her hand defensively) then what are you here for? DRAKE: I was actually following a friend of mine, I think you might know him…Cole? PIPER: Turner? DRAKE: That’s the one! PHOEBE’s VOICE: (from downstairs) Cole! (Everyone looks downstairs.)DRAKE: I knew he’d turn up here eventually. (He shimmies by PRUE and PIPER and begins to hurry down the stairs.)[Cut to the entry way. PHOEBE has her arms thrown around COLE, who’s fiercely hugging her back. DRAKE jumps down the last step.]DRAKE: (to COLE) Did you have to run off like that? (PHOEBE and COLE both look in DRAKE’s direction.) Honestly, you could have at least waited. After all, I am in the process of saving your life. PHOEBE: (surprised) Excuse me? (Two movers walk in, carrying PAIGE’s bed frame. DRAKE steps aside to let them pass.)DRAKE: Perhaps we should talk somewhere a little more…private? BREAK

Act Three
[Scene: Manor. Sunroom. The SISTERS, DRAKE, and COLE trail in and take seats on the white whicker furniture.]PHOEBE: (to COLE) God, I have so many questions that I don’t even know where to begin. PAIGE: Asking him why he’s been ignoring your calls might be a good place to start. (PHOEBE looks expectantly at COLE. COLE opens his mouth to speak when PIPER cuts him off, to everyone’s surprise.)PIPER: He thought you died. (Everyone looks at PIPER, who’s staring at COLE now.)PHOEBE: (questioningly) Piper? PIPER: (to COLE) I-I never gave her the letter… PHOEBE: (confusedly) What letter? COLE: (shocked) Why? PIPER: I don’t know, I just… (She puts her hands to her face and shakes her head.) Everything happened so fast, I never even thought about it until-until…now. (pause) I guess I figured that you would’ve known, that the news would’ve hit the Underworld like wildfire, which was why I was so surprised that you hadn’t tried to contact Phoebe yet. PHOEBE: But I don’t understand, why would you think that- PIPER: He overheard Destiny, Phoebe. (PHOEBE looks at COLE, shocked.)PHOEBE: Is that true? (After a beat, COLE nods.) Wh-where have you been? I tried every way I could think of to contact you- COLE: I didn’t want to be found, Phoebe. (He touches her hand.)PHOEBE: Where were you? DRAKE: I’m sorry to break up the reunion, but where he’s been doesn’t matter as much as where he’ll end up if we don’t act quickly. (COLE shoots DRAKE a thankful glance that goes unnoticed by the sisters.)PHOEBE: What’re you talking about? Is someone after him? DRAKE: In a matter of speaking, yes. PAIGE: Who? DRAKE: The Brotherhood. PRUE: (shocked) What? But we’ve already dealt with them- DRAKE: The Brotherhood has been around since near the time of Melinda Warren’s birth, Prue. They’re not that easily disbanded. PIPER: But do they want with Cole? DRAKE: They plan to use a time portal to go back to the late eighteen-hundreds and kill his human half, thus creating a chain effect through time so that he won’t fall victim to his human side and thus will successfully destroy the Charmed Ones in the present day. PHOEBE: But Cole betrayed them, why would they- DRAKE: The Brotherhood serves The Source of All Evil, but they don’t feel that their new leader is warranted in having the power that she does- PAIGE: What new leader? DRAKE: You…don’t know? (Silence.) The Oracle absorbed the powers of The Source after you vanquished him. In fact, the summoning potion that she gave you worked as a dual potion to send his powers to her after he was vanquished, instead of being sent to oblivion and destroyed. (The sisters share shocked expressions.) It was quite brilliant of her, actually. She double crossed the two most powerful forces of magic in existence- COLE: (warningly) Drake. DRAKE: Oh, right. (He flashes a fake smile.) Anything else I should clear up before I continue? PAIGE: That bi- (PRUE lays a hand on PAIGE’s arm.)PRUE: Paige! (She motions her hand.) Listen first, rant later. (to DRAKE) Continue. DRAKE: So, as I was saying, The Source was at his prime when he sent Cole to destroy you, and had it not been for him giving into his humanity, he could and would have killed at least one of you on one of the multiple occasions he’d had a chance to. Everything snowballed after Cole’s betrayal. PIPER: That’s absurd. There are so many other things that they could do to change history- DRAKE: But that’s just it. Messing with the timeline is risky business. They’ve meticulously planned this out so that they won’t affect the timeline with drastic repercussions, like time ripples or something that can destroy the Grand Design. COLE: It’s the same philosophy that was used when they tried to take Charlotte Warren’s baby and raise her evil instead of simply killing her and destroying your line altogether. DRAKE: Exactly! (pause) What they’re planning would have, if pulled off, the same effect as…well, un-blessing Nicholas’ ring, but in evil’s favor. PRUE: How do you know about that? (DRAKE smiles slyly.)DRAKE: Like I said, I read a lot. PRUE: So what are we waiting for? Where do we go to vanquish these guys…again? DRAKE: (to PHOEBE) I was hoping that’s where you might come in. PHOEBE: How so? DRAKE: They’re to be summoned to the location of the portal by the Brotherhood leader, Xenon- COLE: (surprised) Xenon? DRAKE: Yes, my friend, I’m afraid he’s moved up the ranks since we last saw him. (COLE shakes his head in astonishment.) Anyway, Xenon is going to summon them to perform two powerful spells to stabilize the portal and our job is to find it and destroy the portal before they can do their damage. PAIGE: And how, pray tell, do you destroy a time portal? (DRAKE groans.)DRAKE: Lead me to your infamous attic and I’ll explain on the way. (PRUE stands up and motions her hand. Everyone follows except for COLE. PHOEBE, who’s trailing behind, turns around.)PHOEBE: Cole? (She notices the look on his face and then moves to him and envelopes him in a hug.) What’s wrong? COLE: (quietly) It’s just a lot to process, you know? (He wraps his arms around her and leans his face to her hair, breathing in the scent. He exhales slowly.)PHOEBE: I know. (She leans her head on his chest for a moment.) We should probably go help them. COLE: (dejectedly) Yeah… (They leave.)[Scene: England. London. Epping Forest. The white fog is heavy in a clearing of the forest. Two forms shimmer into the clearing, both holding old fashion lanterns. As the smaller form brings the lantern to her face, it reveals her as KLEA. However, she is now dressed in gorgeous 1890’s Victorian gown with light gold fabric that tightly fits her body and intricate silver beading and golden lace trim with interwoven gold ribbons. XENON looks her up and down.]XENON: Good choice, did you conjure it? (KLEA runs her fingers down the shimmery material.)KLEA: No, it’s an antique. (She lightly rubs her finger over some of the beading, admiring it’s complex beauty.) Where’s Berith? XENON: Adding a few finishing touches to the spells. After which, he’ll be rounding up the remainder of the Brotherhood and meeting us here. (XENON holds up his lantern and moves to a large tree, which he plunges his free arm at. The bark on the tree suddenly ripples and his arm vanishes into the trunk, only to reemerge holding a sword. He tosses the sword back into the portal and grins at KLEA.)[Scene: Manor. Attic. DRAKE slaps his hand down on The Book of Shadows, landing on a hand drawn version of a time portal. PAIGE gawks.]DRAKE: (to PAIGE) Something wrong? PAIGE: You…touched The Book. DRAKE: So? (Suddenly he grins in realization.) Oh, come on, I thought we already went over this when I first arrived. (PAIGE glares and DRAKE snickers.) You know, I think you’d be much happier if you were less paranoid. PAIGE: (indignantly) I am not paranoid! PRUE: We’re on the clock here, people! (She taps the page with her index finger as she reads.) So, these things are impossible to track? (DRAKE nods.) So we just wasted fifteen minutes? DRAKE: On the contrary. (He motions to PHOEBE.) Kindly touch the page. PHOEBE: Okay, but you do realize that I can’t command premon- (She touches the page and her eyes clamp shut.)[Premonition: The foggy clearing in the Epping Forest is filled with hooded demons, flickering lanterns, and sonorous chanting. BERITH, XENON, and KLEA are standing before the Brotherhood. BERITH is holding the jade amulet above his head and without warning, an athame suddenly appears in his hand and he plunges it into the gut of the nearest demon who falls to the ground with a thud. BERITH pulls back the athame and holds it up to the amulet, which he then wipes the blade across, transferring some of the dark blood to the polished stone. The stone absorbs the blood and turns to such a dark garnet color that it’s almost black. He offers the not-red jade to KLEA, who fastens the heavy necklace around her neck and then disappears into the portal on the tree.]
[Cut to the present. PHOEBE opens her eyes and immediately begins to turn the pages.]PIPER: What is it? PHOEBE: I saw a stone in my premonition…I know I saw it while we were looking for the portal…Aha! (She stabs the page with her finger.) “The Jade of Osiris.” (PRUE peers over PHOEBE’s shoulder.)PRUE: “The stone was cut from enchanted jade from the Underworld in which Osiris protected. It harnesses great natural magic which can only be accessed through a blood sacrifice.” PHOEBE: They gave it to the woman who went through the portal. DRAKE: Where was the portal? (PHOEBE shakes her head.)PHOEBE: It looked like it was in a forest, but I didn’t recognize it. (She closes her eyes.) There was fog all over though, and it looked like the entire Brotherhood was gathered in a clearing. (The pages of The Book of Shadows begin to flip wildly to catch everyone’s attention. When they slow to a stop, it’s a picture of a brown haired woman with dark eyes.)PRUE: “Elizabeth Dacey”? (She notices DRAKE’s and COLE’s expressions.) “She grew up in London-” DRAKE: That’s it! COLE: The place Phoebe described, that’s gotta be- DRAKE & COLE: Epping! BREAK

Act Four
[Scene: Manor. Attic. The SISTERS, DRAKE, and COLE are there. The girls look thoroughly confused.]PAIGE: His mother?! (COLE points to text under the picture of the woman in The Book.)COLE: (sarcastic) I believe “the mother of Belthazor” is pretty clear, Paige. DRAKE: But the Epping Forest is huge, we still need to narrow it down! PIPER: How do we even know this is the right place? COLE: My mother grew up in London and after my father’s death, she took me back to London where we lived in her old family mansion for several years. (pause) If they’re planning to time travel, it would make sense that it would be in London. Besides, (he flicks his wrist towards The Book) it usually has a reason for directing you to the pages it does, right? PHOEBE: What if we used a blood-to-blood spell to find them? We can get to the forest and then we’ll use a combination of Cole’s and Drake’s blood and cast a Power of Three spell to take us to the Brotherhood? PAIGE: Wait, I thought that the Brotherhood was a demonic organization, so how can we cast a blood-to-blood spell? PHOEBE: They’re an elite organization and to join, they have to make a blood oath. PAIGE: Okay, but then why didn’t he (she motions to DRAKE) just do that in the first place? DRAKE: I don’t have enough power to do that. But if you combine it with the Power of Three, there’s a good chance that it could break the defenses I’m sure they’ve already put up. (PRUE claps her hands.)PRUE: Alright, I’ll go get the ingredients for the spell. Paige, can you take Piper over to the new house- PIPER: (interrupting) Excuse me? PRUE: Well, this is the Power of Three business, Piper. PIPER: But I- PHOEBE: (cutting in) She’s right, honey. You don’t have your powers anymore, so it’s really not even safe for you to be here right now anyway. PAIGE: Besides, this isn’t something you have to worry about anymore, remember? You’ve finally got your normal life. (PIPER lightly bites her lip.)PIPER: Yeah… (Her head drops a little.) Yeah, you’re right. My normal life. (She lightly places her hand to her stomach.) Just be careful, okay? (PHOEBE gives PIPER a hug.)PHOEBE: We’ll be back soon, I promise. (She playfully wags her finger.) Don’t worry too much! (PAIGE holds out her hand and after a beat, PIPER takes it. They orb out. PRUE, PHOEBE, DRAKE, and COLE leave.)[Time lapse. A couple of flashlights illuminate the forest foliage. Another flashlight clicks on, revealing DRAKE and COLE, then it moves around to reveal PHOEBE and PAIGE, also with flashlights. PAIGE tilts her flashlight to the ground, revealing fog is so thick that it’s up to their ankles and they can’t even see their own feet.]PAIGE: What time is it over here? (PRUE shines her flashlight to her watch.)PRUE: About five to midnight. PAIGE: Oh. (She nods.) The perfect hour to invoke evil magic to destroy generations of good. (PHOEBE shines her light on her DRAKE and COLE.)PHOEBE: Quick question. If you two aren’t actually planning to traipse on into the past, then why are you wearing period clothes? (COLE throws his friend a questioning look and DRAKE waves his hand dismissively.)DRAKE: Just precautionary, in case we had to find some other way to stop them. (PHOEBE raises a disbelieving brow.) And I might have just wanted an excuse to wear one, too, okay? (He adjusts the flaps of his jacket.) They do look quite dashing, though, don’t they? (PAIGE rolls her eyes as PRUE extracts three phials filled with blood colored liquid. She passes them out to each of her sisters.)PHOEBE: (to COLE) You ready? (Reluctantly, COLE nods. The three sisters throw their potions to the ground a red smoke begins to rise up from the fog like a signal fire.)PRUE, PHOEBE, & PAIGE: “Blood to blood, Request we three, Blood to blood, Take us to thee!” (The red smoke curls around the three sisters then snakes over to COLE and DRAKE. It swirls into their mouths and nostrils and then they vanish in a dark red mushroom cloud.)[Scene: San Francisco. PIPER and LEO’s house. Master bedroom. PIPER is pacing back and forth as LEO works to put the bed frame together.]PIPER: (worriedly) Are they still okay? LEO: Piper, they’re fine. They’re… (he closes his eyes) still in London right now. (He props one of the boards against the wall and walks over to his wife, wrapping his arms around her.) Honey, what’s wrong? (PIPER leans into his chest.)PIPER: I don’t know, I just… (She sighs.) I’ve never been away from them like this before, I mean, not while they’re off fighting demons without me. LEO: But this is what you wanted. (He frowns.) Isn’t it? PIPER: Yes, of course. I wanted a normal life, I still want a normal life, but it just seems so foreign. I guess I didn’t think that they’d just abandon me- LEO: They didn’t abandon you, Piper. They were thinking of your well being. And, (he wraps his arms around her small baby bump) their niece’s. (PIPER places her hands over LEO’s and sighs.)PIPER: I know, it just feels so-so strange. (She turns to her to the side so she can look at LEO.)LEO: You’ll get used to it. (They stare at each other for a moment, then they share a soft kiss.)[Scene: London. Epping Forest. A burst of red smoke takes form into four figures, depositing them into the dark. The rustle of bushes is heard, followed by a small squeak.]PAIGE: (muffled) Ow! Watch your feet, Phoebe! PHOEBE: (muffled) It’s not my fault you're in the way! PRUE: (muffled) Would both of you shut up? Someone will hear us! (DRAKE pops up from behind the bush.)DRAKE: Shh! (He brings his finger to his lips.) I think I hear them. PHOEBE: Can you see anything? (DRAKE holds out his hand and an old lantern appears, giving off a soft illumination. He sees the group of Brotherhood members in the distance, chanting in low growls.)DRAKE: It worked. (The sisters and COLE pop up from behind the bush to look too. The chanting is steadily getting louder. They see a silver glint and then they hear a thudding sound.)PHOEBE: Uh oh, I remember that. I think they just sacrificed someone. (They see a dark red glow in the distance.) Come, come on! (They scurry out from behind the bushes and COLE conjures an energy ball, hurling it straight ahead. It glows in the darkness and collides with the back of one of the Brotherhood. He cries out and explodes into nothingness. The remainder of the Brotherhood turn to see the five-person group heading towards them.)PRUE: Party’s over! (She waves her hand and another Brotherhood member flies into a jutting tree branch and explodes.)JORRAH: The Charmed Ones! XENON: (to KLEA) Hurry, go! PHOEBE: Paige, the amulet! (PAIGE holds out her hand.)PAIGE: Jade of Osiris! (Orbs start to engulf the amulet in BERITH’s hands, but then they vanish.)DRAKE: It’s protected, you have to physically take it! PAIGE: (sarcastically) Thanks for telling us that now! (BERITH hands off the amulet to KLEA, who heads for the tree.)PHOEBE: She’s going for the tree, it’s the portal! PRUE: Oh-oh! (Her body goes limp and an astral version of herself appears between the tree and KLEA.)ASTRAL PRUE: Not so fast! (She spin kicks KLEA, sending the demoness sprawling to the ground as the amulet flies from her hands. She turns to find an energy ball flying at her and disappears in a red flare. The energy ball disappears through the time portal as the real PRUE awakens.)(XENON spots DRAKE.)XENON: De’mon! I should’ve known! I thought something didn’t seem right during our meetings. DRAKE: I guess someone should’ve listened to me when I suggested changing Headquarters periodically. (He shrugs.) Too bad you were one of the ones against it. (XENON sneers and thrusts out his hand, sending a black beam from his palm at DRAKE. DRAKE thrusts out his hands and sends two surges of flames to collide with the black beam. As the two powers meet, there’s a large explosion that leaves four piles of dust where four Brotherhood members had just stood. Meanwhile, PHOEBE leaps into the air and thrusts her feet onto the chest of one of the hooded demons, sending him sprawling to the ground. She glides down easily and thrusts her elbows back, catching two more members in the face.)PHOEBE: Prue! Do you have the amulet? (PRUE uses her power on two more demons.)PRUE: It fell to the ground, I don’t see it! (PAIGE orbs, barely avoiding a fireball. As she rematerializes, a glow of deep red catches her brown eyes.)PAIGE: I see it! (She orbs, appearing in a squatting position on the ground next to the amulet. She grabs it and starts to stand up when a firm hand connects with her face, sending her sprawling on her back.)KLEA: (venomously) I believe that’s mine! (She grabs the amulet that’s fallen next to PAIGE and proceeds to step over her, heading for the portal. PAIGE grabs her ankle, yanking her down.)PAIGE: I don’t think the same rules apply when you steal something! (PAIGE grabs for the amulet but KLEA moves it from her grasp. They struggle.) Guys, a little help here! (COLE grabs PHOEBE’s shoulders, spinning her around and shimmering out as another Brotherhood member explodes via an energy ball. They reappear near PAIGE, just as KLEA breaks free of her grasp and lunges at the portal. PHOEBE jumps at KLEA, grabbing her arm as the portal starts to suck her in.)COLE: Phoebe, no! (He snatches her hand as KLEA is pulled into the portal, followed by PHOEBE and then himself. XENON sees the escape and raises his hands.)XENON: Abandon them, she’s gone! (All at once, the Brotherhood members stop and disappear in various demonic forms of transportation, leaving PRUE, DRAKE, and PAIGE. BERITH and XENON are the last. He looks at DRAKE.) This isn’t the last you’ll see of me, De’mon! (BERITH and XENON shimmer out. PRUE moves to PAIGE and helps her off.)PRUE: We’ve got to go after them! (She and PAIGE start to step into the portal.)DRAKE: I wouldn’t do that- (He shakes his head and grabs PAIGE’s shoulder, allowing himself to get sucked in as well. His voice echoes through the portal as it ripples and they disappear.) Fine, don’t listen to the demon! BREAK

Act Five
[Scene: 1895. London. Epping Forest. KLEA, PHOEBE, and COLE are spit out of the time portal. KLEA breaks free of PHOEBE’s grasp and shimmers out. Her eyes linger in the air a moment before they also vanish. PHOEBE’s eyes widen.]PHOEBE: What the hell! (She flips around to face COLE.) How does she still have her powers? I’ve never had my powers in the past! COLE: She probably cast a spell or used some sort of potion to make sure they’d be kept in tact after she got here. PHOEBE: You don’t still have your powers, do you? COLE: If it actually took us to the right time, then no. My past, or rather present, self does. I obviously didn’t know I was coming, otherwise I would’ve prepared. PHOEBE: Well, at least you look the part. (She glances down at her old blue jeans, one shouldered baby doll-styled red tunic, and white sneakers.) I hope we’re not caught, because this looks awfully scandalous. COLE: You always look scandalous, Phoebe. PHOEBE: Cole! This is a serious situation! (PHOEBE taps her shoe in annoyance.) So what do we do now? We’re in the middle of a forest without powers! (COLE smirks.) What? (She glares.) This is not funny! COLE: Phoebe, this is my past! I used to know these woods like the back of my hand. (He takes her by the hand.) Come on, I know exactly where she’s headed. (They start running.)[Scene: The Dacey Mansion. Ballroom. A throng of people dressed in high society Victorian clothing fill the room. In the corner of the room, YOUNG COLE is slouched on a chair with his elbows digging into his knees and his face propped between his hands. YOUNGE DRAKE runs up to him excitedly, chewing on a fistful of chocolate cake.]YOUNG DRAKE: Guess what! (He grabs YOUNG COLE by the arm and yanks him off the chair.) I just discovered where your mom’s been hiding the good stuff, come on! (He yanks on YOUNG COLE’s arm, dragging him off to a swinging door and into a large dining room where the table is filled with desserts.) This is great, isn’t it?! (YOUNG COLE hangs back, looking warily at the table. YOUNG DRAKE notices this and frowns.) What’s wrong? YOUNG COLE: Nothing. (YOUNG DRAKE slumps his shoulders.)YOUNG DRAKE: Liar. (Another swinging door leading into the kitchen opens and a little girl about their age walks into the room carrying a tray of croissants. The three children startle each other. YOUNG COLE jumps.)YOUNG COLE: Libby! (LIBBY blushes and turns her head to the side.)LIBBY: Hi… (YOUNG DRAKE smiles a little at his friends' exchange.)YOUNG DRAKE: Hey, Libby. (He grabs another handful of cake.) Aren’t you usually in bed by now? LIBBY: (quietly) Oh, uh… (She leans on her tip toes and tries to set the tray on the table. YOUNG COLE sees this and rushes over to help her. LIBBY blushes again.) Thank you. (YOUNG COLE smiles. She looks back to YOUNG DRAKE.) My dad just needed some help taking the trays out before he cleaned up, ‘cause one of his helpers got sick… YOUNG DRAKE: Oh. Well, since you’re here, do you want some dessert? Cole and I were just getting ready to have some. LIBBY: Oh, uh… (She shakes her head.) I don’t think so. YOUNG COLE: Are you sure? LIBBY: Well- (The swinging door flies open again.)WOMAN’s VOICE: Cole! (LIBBY jumps.)LIBBY: I-I-I have to go! (LIBBY bows her head and dashes back into the kitchen. A dark haired woman in a dark burgundy satin skirt and matching velvet jacket with a high white lace collar stomps into the room. She appears about to reproach YOUNG COLE when she spots YOUNG DRAKE there too. The latter smiles brightly.)YOUNG DRAKE: Hi Mrs. Turner! (ELIZABETH TURNER glances at her son, then to YOUNG DRAKE, and forces a smile.)ELIZABETH: I do hope you’re enjoying yourself, Drake. YOUNG DRAKE: Yes, ma’am. Very much so! ELIZABETH: Well, you’re welcomed to anything you like, but if you don’t mind, I need to take the guest of honor with me for a few minutes. (YOUNG DRAKE and YOUNG COLE share looks. She smiles tightly and holds out her hand.) Come along, son. (Hesitantly, YOUNG COLE moves to his mother and takes her hand.) We’ll be back shortly. (They leave.)[Scene: Present day. PIPER and LEO’s house. Hallway. The couple are watching as two movers take the kitchen table into the kitchen. Suddenly, LEO tilts his head to the ceiling and PIPER doesn’t miss it.]PIPER: Leo? (LEO grabs her wrist and leads her down the hallway to an empty bedroom, where they slip in and close the door. PIPER narrows her eyes.) What is it? Are my sisters- LEO: Something’s gone wrong. PIPER: (alarmed) Wrong? What do you mean? How wrong? Are they okay? LEO: I don’t know, which is why I have to answer this call. I’ll be right back, I promise. PIPER: (sarcastically) I’ve been hearing that a lot lately. (LEO leans in to give her a kiss, but orbs out before the kiss is actually over. PIPER angrily raises her hands as if to explode something, but of course, nothing happens.)[Scene: Desert. PRUE, PAIGE, and DRAKE tumble out of the portal and plunge into a river. They splash and struggle as they get out of the water and PAIGE groans as she squishes along the mud to get to dry land. Walking up behind her, PRUE rings out her sopping hair.]PAIGE: Where the hell are we? PRUE: Your guess is as good as mine. (DRAKE smoothes his mussed hair as he follows the two sisters onto the sandy land, where his formerly shiny shoes start to collect thick globs of golden sand. He looks down to find his tie lopsided and his white shirt splotched with mud. He wrinkles his nose at the sisters.)DRAKE: I told you it was a bad idea to walk blindly into a time portal. PAIGE: You did not. (DRAKE snorts.)DRAKE: I’m paraphrasing, so sue me! (PRUE glances up at the blue sky and then gazes around at the landscape, which is quite different from the forest they just left.)PRUE: How in the world did we end up in a desert? We came from a forest. DRAKE: Natural time portals appear and disappear throughout time. It probably popped us out in a time portal that doesn’t exist anymore. (He starts to look around when he hears PAIGE gasp.) What, do you see another demon? (He turns to follow her line of vision and stops abruptly as a blinding light catches his eyes. A wry smile paints itself onto his face.) Ancient Egypt! PAIGE: Ancient? (She groans.)DRAKE: Yes, look! (He grabs her shoulders and spins her to look back at the pyramids in the far distance.) The tops of the pyramids are still covered in gold, which isn’t the case in modern times because of theft. (PAIGE shields her eyes from the glint.)PAIGE: (annoyed) Yes, I can tell. (She wiggles out of DRAKE’s grasp.) Since you seem to be on such a roll with information here, do you mind on telling us how to find our time portal again? (She looks back at the Nile and frowns.)DRAKE: I thought I already explained that they’re camouflaged? PRUE: Well then, I guess we need to start feeling around then, don’t we? (She motions her hand impatiently.) Come on, we don’t have all day! (PAIGE looks back at the desert that stretches on for miles, then glances to the burning sun in the sky. Her shoulders slump forward.)PAIGE: I beg to differ. [Scene: 1895. London. PHOEBE and COLE are walking down the sidewalk, both completely out of breath. PHOEBE is now dressed in an all black Victorian silk and lace dress and matching hat with a couple black feathers.]PHOEBE: Cole, this is awful! I look like I’m in mourning. COLE: You probably will be after you meet my mother. PHOEBE: How did you even get the shop owner to give you the dress for free anyway? (COLE snickers.) I’m not liking the sound of that. COLE: You remember how I told you that Drake and I grew up together? (PHOEBE nods.) Well, there was only one boutique my mother would buy clothing from in London and that was because she was old friends with the woman who owned it. PHOEBE: Wait, you’re telling me that his mother was the store owner? COLE: He and I spent hours at that place, it was more of a home than my own was. And his mother was oh so much more bearable than mine! PHOEBE: Is Drake a half demon too? COLE: God no! Both his parents were demons, but his father was actually vanquished before Drake was born and his mother…well, wasn’t your average demon. She didn’t just go out killing people because she felt like it, she did it if someone crossed her. She always used to tell us that it wasn’t worth her time to go tracking down witches just because, she would rather be designing clothing. PHOEBE: Well, I guess that explains why Drake is the way he is. (COLE nods.)COLE: Anyway, (he motions his hand towards PHOEBE's dress) she always liked me. Drake was always asking me how I buttered up his mother so much. (He shrugs innocently.) I guess it’s just part of my charm. (PHOEBE playfully slaps his arm.)PHOEBE: So, where is this mansion you were bragging about? (COLE scoffs.)COLE: It’s nothing to brag about, lord knows my mother did though. (He shakes his head.) It shouldn’t be too far now, Drake and I used to walk from my house to his mother’s shop all the time. Actually, (they turn the corner) there it is now. (He points to the end of the street. PHOEBE’s eyes widen.)PHOEBE: (shocked) You lived in that?! (She stares at a giant mansion surrounded by tall, golden gates. The gates are opened and throngs of people in high society clothing are bustling in and out.) What’s going on? (COLE pales a little.) Cole? COLE: If this is the day I have a feeling it is, then I think I know why The Brotherhood chose to come here. PHOEBE: What do you mean? (COLE shakes his head, refusing to talk about the subject anymore.)COLE: C’mon, she’ll be sneaking in with the crowd, so keep your eyes open. (They hurry their pace down the street until they reach the mansion, where they slip unnoticed into the crowd of people walking through the gates.)[Scene: Ancient Egypt. DRAKE, PAIGE, and PRUE are sitting in the sand, dirty and disheveled, with flushed faces.] PAIGE: How can it be this hard to find? It was right there! DRAKE: It’s always been a flaw of humans not to notice the things right in front of their faces. PAIGE: (to DRAKE) Are you saying that you know how to get us out of here? DRAKE: Yes, (PAIGE opens her mouth to interrupt) but (PAIGE closes her mouth) the only way to do that is to find the portal…and I don’t know where that is. (PAIGE folds her arms.)PAIGE: (snappily) You seem to know everything else. PRUE: Oh yeah, he’s a regular Gossip Girl. (PAIGE shoots her sister a questioning look.) What? PAIGE: You read “Gossip Girl”? PRUE: Well…no, but Mary’s teenage daughter dropped into work last week and we happened to strike up a conversation during my lunch break while she was waiting for Mary’s shoot to end. (pause) Do you read it? PAIGE: No, but I am a Social Worker. The unwritten part of my job is to keep up on the latest trends. PRUE: Mhmm. DRAKE: Well, if you’re done talking about me, (they look at him) then I suggest we cut this break short and try to find that portal again before the sun goes down. (PRUE glances up to see the clear blue sky steadily growing dark.)PRUE: I hate time travel. [Scene: 1895. London. Dacey Mansion. Ballroom. PHOEBE and COLE are wandering through the crowd. PHOEBE is in awe, while COLE appears extremely worried.]PHOEBE: Did your mother throw parties like this all the time? COLE: This one was…special. PHOEBE: How so? COLE: I don’t really want to talk about it. (He turns around, keeping his eyes peeled for someone. Out of the corner of his eye, he sees a flash of burgundy yanking a little boy up the stairs.)PHOEBE: Cole. (He starts to walk towards the stairs.) Cole. (He doesn’t listen.) Cole! COLE: What?! (PHOEBE grabs his arm and spins him around, pointing to the corner of the ballroom where a pair of floating eyes suddenly vanish. He turns to see that his mother and his past self have also disappeared up the stairs.) Damnit! [Cut to the hallway. ELIZABETH is dragging YOUNG COLE along when a slick haired demon with a wine glass in hand shimmers in. ELIZABETH stops.]ELIZABETH: Edmond. (EDMOND looks down at the boy and nods.)EDMOND: Take him into one of the spare rooms and come with me. I think I’ve found the perfect candidate. (YOUNG COLE looks worriedly between the two adults, but follows his mother as she leads him into one of the hall’s many spare bedrooms.)ELIZABETH: We’ll be right back. (She smoothes his hair in a loving gesture and then they leave him alone. Unbeknownst to him, a pair of eyes appear in the corner of the room, watching him.)[Scene: Present day. San Francisco. PIPER and LEO's house. Spare bedroom. PIPER is pacing anxiously back and forth as LEO orbs in.]PIPER: (anxiously) Well? (LEO grimaces.)LEO: They think your sisters are...lost in time. PIPER: (yelling) What?! (She throws her hands into the air.) What do you mean by that?! How can they be lost in time? LEO: Calm down! (He motions his hands for her to be quiet.) Look, They think that They know where your sisters are, so They are creating a time portal to bring them back right now. (PIPER turns her head away.)PIPER: (fuming) Lost in time! Who the hell do they think they are? Carmen Sandiego?! [Scene: 1895. London. Dacey Mansion. Hallway. COLE is running ahead of PHOEBE, who’s breathlessly trying to catch up as she holds her heavy skirt above the ground. Suddenly, he stops and she nearly collides with him. He looks frantically between the many doors.]COLE: Which one was it…which one was it? (He starts opening and closing random doors in a rush.) Phoebe, help me! (As PHOEBE moves to grab a door, they hear a crash and look at each other before rushing towards the sound. As they open the door, they find YOUNG COLE on the floor next to a shattered vase. KLEA is hovering above him with a vial in hand.)BREAK

Act Six
[Scene: 1895. London. Dacey Mansion. Bedroom. PHOEBE flings herself at KLEA, toppling them both to the ground. She rears back her fist and smashes it into KLEA’s jaw. KLEA grabs PHOEBE’s neck and a ripple of energy pulses through her neck, causing the witch to convulse. YOUNG COLE yelps.]YOUNG COLE: No! Leave her alone! (YOUNG COLE narrows his blue eyes and a crackling of energy begins to form above his small palm. As KLEA looks up in horror, YOUNG COLE's energy ball collides with her and she explodes in a shower of red sparks. The red jade falls to the ground unharmed. YOUNG COLE quivers as he stares down as his hand in shock. COLE moves him and swoops his past self into his arms, comforting the child.)COLE: Shh, it’s alright. (PHOEBE lifts herself off the ground, snatches the jade amulet, and watches the tender moment. She takes a step towards them when they hear ELIZABETH’s voice in the hallway again.)PHOEBE: (whispering urgently) Cole! (YOUNG COLE and COLE lock eyes, then YOUNG COLE points to the closet.)YOUNG COLE: Hurry! (COLE nods. He gives his younger self a fierce hug and then he and PHOEBE clamber into the closet as the door opens. ELIZABETH is practically beaming as she looks down at her son. She suddenly notices the broken vase and glances suspiciously around the room. She notices the scorch mark on the floor from KLEA’s vanquish.) I was…practicing. (He swallows hard and produces an energy ball.) See, Mom? (Once again, the genuine smile returns to ELIZABETH’s face. She bends down as YOUNG COLE extinguishes the energy ball and hugs him.)ELIZABETH: Good boy! (She kisses his head and then returns to her full height, taking his hand in hers.) Come on, son, they’re waiting for you. (He begins to walk out the door with his mother and then glances quickly over his shoulder at the closet before they leave. After a beat, COLE and PHOEBE step quietly out of the closet.)PHOEBE: Who’s waiting for him…you? (COLE heaves a deep sigh.)COLE: Phoebe, this “party” that my mother threw on this night was something of a… (They leave the room as COLE tries to find the words for what he’s trying to explain.) It’s a coming of age ceremony. (PHOEBE looks confused. They move slowly down the hallway.) My mother, twisted of a demon as she was, did love me and she always felt that I could be just as good as any full blooded demon, so she went out of her way to prove that to the demonic community. (They reach the stairs and start to descend them.)PHOEBE: But what does that have to do with any of this? I don’t understand. (COLE stops and so does she.)COLE: There is a certain “ritual” done at these demonic ceremonies, Phoebe. PHOEBE: What? (COLE simply motions his hand and they turn their eyes towards the massive crowd that’s gathered around YOUNG COLE and ELIZABETH. EDMOND is standing behind YOUNG COLE as everyone waits in anticipation. He waves his arm and LIBBY appears within the center of the circle that the guests have made. She looks confused and terrified. The little girl sets her eyes on YOUNG COLE.)LIBBY: C-Cole? (ELIZABETH places her hand on her son’s shoulder.)ELIZABETH: Go on, Cole. Show them you’re just as good as the rest of them. LIBBY: Wh-what’s going on, Cole? (Trembling, YOUNG COLE raises his hand and an energy ball appears within it. On the stairs, PHOEBE gasps and COLE turns his eyes away from the scene. A scream pierces the air and all that is left is a scorch mark on the Persian rug. Congratulatory cheers fill the air and ELIZABETH bends down, enveloping her son in a proud hug. PHOEBE gingerly touches her boyfriend’s arm.)PHOEBE: I’m sorry. (COLE shakes his head.)COLE: I don’t deserve pity, Phoebe. Libby had never been anything other than nice to me and I-I murdered her. PHOEBE: You were only- COLE: I was only old enough to know the difference between right and wrong. I knew that the coming of age ceremony was to commemorate my first kill. The only thing I didn’t know, not until that moment, was that it was going to be her. (He clutches his stomach as if he might be sick. Silently, PHOEBE throws her arms around him and allows him to softly repent.)[Scene: Ancient Egypt. The sky is awash of pinks, lavenders, and oranges as the sun sinks away. PAIGE is kicking sand with her foot while PRUE is moving her arms around in front of her in a rather comical fashion, searching for the invisible portal. DRAKE, on the other hand, is performing an entertaining rendition of “Walk like an Egyptian” as he simultaneously searches for the portal as well.]PAIGE: This is hopeless. (DRAKE stops his dance.)DRAKE: Nothing’s hopeless, Paige. You haven’t stopped looking, so obviously you still have hope. (PRUE rubs her fingers over her temples.)PRUE: I cannot wait to get my hands on that Xenon guy. PAIGE: Stand in line, sister. (She looks up and grimaces.) Oh no…please say that’s a mirage. (PRUE looks up and squints her eyes.)PRUE: What now? (A horde of orange lights are coming towards them from the distance.)DRAKE: Hey! I think those are torches. (A loud voice shouts something out in an Ancient Egyptian tongue.) Hmm, I know my Ancient Egyptian is probably a little rusty, but I believe someone just said, “Capture them!” (PAIGE looks up at the nearing horde and down at her dirty, very un-Egyptian clothes and then shifts her eyes to her comrades.)PAIGE: (to PRUE) You know, that Cleopatra costume from last Halloween would come in so handy right now. (PRUE snorts.)PRUE: Thanks for bringing that up, now I can think about that no good ex of mine while we’re running for our lives. (She grabs PAIGE’s arm and pulls her in the other direction.)DRAKE: (to PRUE) I’m guessing it ended badly? (PRUE scoffs as they run.)PRUE: Let’s just say that Cleopatra was better off with Caesar! DRAKE: As opposed to whom? Marc Anthony? PRUE: (angrily) Yes! DRAKE: But Marc Anthony betrayed everything he knew for Cleopatra! PRUE: And he still selfishly impaled himself. DRAKE: Again, for her. (PRUE snorts.) Well, I don’t know what love story you’ve been reading, but I think your anger has blinded you from seeing the sacrifice. PRUE: (angrily) You don’t know what you’re talking about. DRAKE: (quietly) I don’t think you do either. (Suddenly, a pulsating blue portal appears out of nowhere. PAIGE yelps in surprise before the portal sucks the three of them inside and then closes with a pop.)[Scene: Present day. San Francisco. PIPER and LEO’s house. Spare bedroom. PIPER is standing impatiently at LEO’s side as the blue time portal opens and drops its three travelers into the bedroom. PIPER taps her foot as she glares down at them.]PIPER: You had me worried sick! (She grabs PRUE by the arm and yanks her up.) Do you know how dangerous it is to just go gallivanting through time? (PRUE exchanges looks with PAIGE and DRAKE.) Where have you been? PAIGE: (muttering) I’d like to say “in denial,” but I’m afraid it was the actual Nile. (DRAKE smirks. PIPER, not catching PAIGE’s remark, looks behind PAIGE to PRUE.)PIPER: And where are Phoebe and Cole? PRUE: That, is a very good question. (Everyone looks at LEO.)[Scene: London. Epping Forest. PHOEBE and COLE step out of the time portal hand in hand. The red jade is clasped between PHOEBE's fingers.]DRAKE’s VOICE: What took you so long? (They look up to see DRAKE step into the clearing.)COLE: What happened to you? DRAKE: Oh, nothing major. Just a little run in with an angry mob of Ancient Egyptians. (He waves his hand dismissively.) No biggie. (He smirks.) You look exhausted, did Klea kick your ass? COLE: It was the ceremony. (DRAKE's face turns serious.)DRAKE: I didn’t realize- COLE: It doesn’t matter, what’s done is done and I can’t change that. Not without changing who I am now. (PHOEBE gives him a comforting look and squeezes his hand a little tighter.) Just tell us how to destroy this thing. DRAKE: Let me see the jade. PHOEBE: Why do you need it? DRAKE: I know the spell that’ll close the portal, but I need the jade to enhance my magic. That is, if it’s still red. (PHOEBE opens her palm to reveal the jade, which is slowly reverting back to green. He snatches it.) There’s not a lot of time left on it. (DRAKE clears his throat and begins to chant something in Latin. The mist on the floor of the forest swirls and the trees begin to sway with a chilling mystic breeze as his voice gets louder. Suddenly, the jade begins to glow and shake in DRAKE’s palm. He throws it at the portal as if it’s scalding to the touch and the portal ripples as the stone flies through it, then a burst of red light emanates from the portal casting all three bystanders into the bushes. The wind calms.)PHOEBE: Did it work? (COLE helps her up and she dusts off her black dress.)COLE: I’ll check. (He moves over to the tree and hesitantly places his hand out, then swipes at the bark. It’s solid. He turns around and gives a nod of confirmation. PHOEBE smiles. COLE suddenly realizes that DRAKE is staring at PHOEBE.) Mind taking your eyes else where, friend? DRAKE: Where did you get that dress? (PHOEBE and COLE share amused looks as DRAKE rubs his temple.) I swear, that looks so familiar! [Scene: Underworld. THE QUEEN’s lair. THE QUEEN is seated on her throne. She snaps her fingers and XENON appears before her. He bows his head respectfully.]XENON: My Queen. (THE QUEEN sneers.)THE QUEEN: Thought you and you and your little gang could defeat me, did you? XENON: I would nev- THE QUEEN: Lets get one thing clear! (She rises to her feet and grabs him by the throat, lifting the demon that’s much larger than herself into the air with inhuman strength.) I rule the Underworld now! The Brotherhood answers to me and I’ll be vanquished a thousand times over before I let some sore demon like you take that away from me! (She drops him to the ground and hovers over him as a ring of flames appears. She smiles wickedly.) I’m glad we had this talk. (He screams as the flames consume him, leaving only a pile of black ash. She raises her head to stare at the remainder of the Brotherhood that’s cowering in the back of her chamber.) Any questions? [Time lapse. A roaring fire is burning PIPER’s old room, which is now PRUE’s again. Disheveled furniture is strewn throughout the room and a bag of marshmallows is sitting on the floor in front of the fire. PRUE and PIPER come in, both holding sticks with marshmallows stabbed onto the ends. They throw some pillows down and then plop onto the floor in front of the fireplace together. PRUE grins.]PRUE: It’s almost just like old times. (They poke their sticks over the fire.)PIPER: What’s missing? (PRUE wraps her arm around PIPER’s shoulders.)PRUE: Mom. (PIPER heaves a sigh as she leans her head on PRUE’s shoulder.)PIPER: I’m gonna miss living here. (PRUE nods as she watches their marshmallows slowly turn brown.)PRUE: Yeah, me too. [Scene: Demonic pub. COLE and DRAKE are once again at the table in the back, each with a drink in their hands.]DRAKE: You know, you’re in idiot. (COLE takes a drink from his mug and watches his friend from over the rim. DRAKE shakes his head disapprovingly.) I can’t believe you’re here with me instead of that lovely woman you’re so crazy about. (He lightly punches COLE’s arm.) What I wouldn’t give to have what you have. (COLE nods numbly.)COLE: I don’t deserve her, Drake. (He drops his head.) You know, she saw what I did today and it didn’t change her mind about me. DRAKE: We’ve all done things we’re not proud of- COLE: Look at you, you’re a demon and you’ve always managed to get around killing someone. DRAKE: Yeah, but I also grew up with a mother who didn’t want me to have to prove my worth. You were only ten. COLE: So was Libby. (DRAKE waves to the waitress.)DRAKE: Two more over here! (He slings his arm around COLE’s shoulders.) You’ve got a keeper, Cole. She’s seen your past but she’s wise enough to know that it’s all made you into the man you are today. I would hang on for dear life if I were you. [Scene: Manor. PAIGE’s room. The room is mostly set up. A bright blue floral comforter is on the bed. There are two end tables on either side of the bed with matching purple lamps. The space in front of the windows are filled with various paintings, both on easels and just propped up against the wall. The left end table is filled with framed photographs, OSCAR’s cage is positioned in the left corner of the room, and various paintings signed “Paige Matthews” are hung on the walls. PAIGE is struggling on the bed to hang up a rather large pastel painting of a tree and lake above her bed. She glances up at the nail far above her head and grumbles to herself. Then she takes a step back and wobbles a little on the mattress.]PAIGE: Painting! (The painting orbs out of her hands and she points towards the wall.) Nail! (A moment later, the painting orbs onto the nail and hangs perfectly straight right next to a vibrant painting of a vase and flowers on a red background. PAIGE smiles to herself and flops down on the bed sitting Indian-style as she gazes with satisfaction at her new room, extremely happy to be home.)[Scene: P3. LEO slips through the pulsing crowd, heading towards a booth where PHOEBE is sitting alone, sipping on a glass of white zinfandel. He slides in across from PHOEBE, who looks up and smiles.]PHOEBE: Hey, Leo. LEO: I’m surprised to find you here, shouldn’t you be with Cole? PHOEBE: I told him he could go hang out with Drake tonight. (She sighs.) Not that I wouldn’t like to be with him right now, mind you, but I just thought it might do him some good. They seem pretty close and he was pretty down tonight, so… (She shrugs.) What about you, where’s Piper? LEO: Oh, she wanted to do something with Prue tonight. I didn’t really ask about it; I know the move is such a big change it’s understandable that she’d want to say her goodbyes to the Manor and everything. (PHOEBE smirks.)PHOEBE: So, in other words, we both got ditched tonight? (She waves her hand, signaling the waiter.) Oh well, at least we can keep each other company tonight, right? (LEO laughs.) Look at it this way, they’re the ones missing out on No Doubt. (She gestures to the stage where Gwen Stefani and the boys are performing “Underneath It All”.)
