There's an episode on here, that was made mention to me on The Charmed Cafe, which highlights a prophecy where Paige is destined to replace one of her sisters as a Charmed One. Could anyone tell me the name of that episode? I would love to read it and see how a storyline that should have be incoporated in the actual series plays out.

I believe Drama (Assassin Witch on the Cafe) was talking about the second half of our Season Four finale: Destiny Takes a Halliwell, Part 2. (the first few acts) Be warned it is the second half of a two parter, and there was obviously some miscellaneous arc stuff going on that season which may seem confusing to a first time CRR reader starting there, but the basic idea is still in there. www.resetreality.proboards104.com/index.cgi?board=s4&action=display&thread=464

So the premise is basically this. C:RR is the same as canon Charmed up until the end of S3.
However, it then splits off because Prue doesn't die (but they still meet Paige).
Is that it?

That's it in a nutshell. And as we've discussed elsewhere, the canon isn't always the most consistent. Nor does it always make the most sense. But we tried to make the best of it. That said, I think if I was to go back, Paige wouldn't have had her whitelighter abilities. These days I agree with the arguments that whitelighters shouldn't be able to pass on their powers as they're not innate in the same way witch powers are. Part of me thinks that whitelighters shouldn't be able to have children at all but for story reasons, I can justify it in order for Paige to exist. You could go down the road of suggesting Sam was made mortal after discovering his and Patty's affair (and Paige is conceived in that time) but why would he be "rewarded" for breaking the rules? Surely if he was being punished, he'd have been stripped of powers, banished from earth and either cut off from Patty in the afterlife or forced to be recycled. So knowing what we know about Sam and Patty, that Sam was most likely still a whitelighter and the Elders were in the dark about the affair or chose to ignore it (they had selective hearing at the best of times). But when a whitelighter has a child, which is incredibly rare, their child wouldn't be a whitelighter. And for that reason, Paige shouldn't have been either.

Well, the canon on the actual show got shaky later on.
Still, you lot did a great job on this series.
