Out of curiosity, has anyone seen CiC? If so, what were your opinions? Personally, it was a dream come true for me. When I first heard that such a show would air, my first thought was, "Will be she Democrat or Republican? I mean...it would be perfect if she was Independent, but they wouldn't do that...would they?" (I'm an Independent, so yeah.) After just a few episodes it quickly stole Everwood's spot as my second favorite television show. I mean, I hadn't laughed, cried, screamed, gasped (you name it and I did it), etc... so much in longer than I can remember. (And I hadn't been so excited about a season premiere since Charmed!) Needless to say, I was so mad when they cut down the season and then axed the show "due to ratings." (If the network hadn't fooled with the schedule, changed the night and time twice, not informed the public, and put it on a double hiatus without letting people get back into the fact that it was on again, the ratings would NOT have dropped! ) Now I'm just twiddling my thumbs until they make the "ending," with the made for T.V. movie. *sigh* So...thoughts?

Yeah I watched the first few episodes, I really liked the first one, was a bit of a letdown to me the next few, and then I missed it a couple weeks due to their unannounced schedule shenanigans, and by the time I found it, my schedule was already full with other shows at that time... Meh.

[mini rant] With the way the 2008 Election has turned out thus far, it's only furthered my belief that ending CiC was a very political move.
I mean, come on, the show was about the First Female President and, from where it was heading, her Chief of Staff was going to be the First African-American Vice President.
Not to mention, the show's bad guy was your typical white guy Republican.
The more I think about it, the more it burns me. What great potential Commander in Chief had and Geena Davis was flipping brilliant! [/end mini rant]

OMG! That totally does sound like a political move! They were scared to influence the people. Idiots.

If it were on conservative network FOX, I might have bought into that. But CBS/ABC/NBC are all run by very liberal people. So CiC would have been beneficial "propoganda" for them to promote the idea of successful minority leaders.
