One of the greatest shows ever created. I love Charmed and Buffy very much and it's strange that Shannen and Sarah are very close friends. I guess I just know how to pick um. ;D

I love Buffy. I think the entire show is brilliant. The show is so clean in production, and really shows that everyone involved gave 100%. You have to appreciate something like that.

I love Buffy, but the final two seasons were not up to par. (Wow, it's a curse!!!) High School was great, but my favorite season was 4. Totally love Riley and the Intitative. B/R all the way! So sad about their breakup and then Sam. *Screams* (You know, she was a Valkaryie(sp) on Charmed.)

I'm also a Buffy fan, loved the first 3 seasons. From there things started to go down hill, although it probably had some of the absolute worst episodes at the first part of the season especially. "Beer Bad" was beyond mindnumbingly awful and I think I hated it more than even any S8 episode of Charmed, and "Living Conditions" (which rewarded Buffy for being an entitled prick, behavior that continued on past the season) *shudders*
I'm on the fence for Riley, at first I was thought he was pretty blah, I put a lot of blame on Blucas for that, but as the season went on he seemed to improve and the character was made more complex to where I could tolerate the idea of possibly liking him? In fact when he came back in "As You Were" I think I actually did like him. Although that could have had something to do with disliking pretty much every other character on the show at that point except Xander... (by 6x15 he was basically still shoved in the background, and when he wasn't it was the cute Xanya relationship. So didn't start hating him until he treated Anya like crap. Also didn't hate Gile - but he was of course written off the show...) Anyways he was a lot better than Ben, and the Spuffy the most screwed up relationship this side of daytime TV... I mean what that did to Buffy's character, especially "Wrecked" ugh don't want to think about that EVER again... Before that I still basically liked Buffy as a character and empathized with her. When the Spuffy trainwreck hit that was gone, and she just became a bigger bitch in the process...
Loved the Master, Spike, & the Mayor as villains. The First had a lot of wasted potential. I actually didn't mind Glory as much as some people, the three stooges were pathetic (although occasionally entertaining)...but Adam. HAAAAAAATE!

Okay. Buffy S4 = Charmed S6. Overall plotline is great. Had some of the worst episodes in them, some of the best.
Xander! yes. You'd think after all this time, they'd show him more, but it didn't work. He was such a great character.
SPUFFY! *runs to tell Brittany (TOP3)* Horrible, horrible relationship. We both no likey them.
I agree, Spike was a good baddy, but then it all changed.

I can't get into the comics. I don't know why, but I think the whole plot is just way over the top.

Me no like S6. S7 was better than 6, but that doesn't mean much. (Oh, Charmed (7&8), anyone?)
My favorites are the first four seasons.

I love Buffy too, any fantasy/adventure television series like Buffy or Charmed appeal to me. Spike was definately one of my favourite characters, James Marsters was hot! I preferred him as a baddy though, and hated the love relationship between him and Buffy. That was just crap.

I so agree, I thought the Spike and Buffy relationship wasn't all to good. It made Buff look like she was some cheap girl. But I guess thats what the writers were feeling. I kind of understand where they went with that because she had just got pulled from Heaven and stuff.

Buffy is probably my favorite show, so yup I adore it. My alltime favorite character was probably Anya. I just love how she could be funny, dramatic, serious, pathetic, etc... I loved watching her character develop over the years. Plus, Emma Caulfield did an amzing job portraying her. Otherfavorites of mine include Willow, Spike, and Tara. I hated Angel...not the show, just the character. Well, while he was on Buffy anyway. I didn't mind him on his own show, but he always annoyed me, plus Bangel! Eeek, its worse then Spuffy! I'm not a Bangel fan, nor a Spuffy fan. Ruffy was ok, but not my favorite. Xanya and Tillow are at the top of my list, with maybe Woz and Ruffy close behind. Unlike most people probably, I enjoy the later seasons more then the first few. I saw seasons 5-7 before seeing any other season, so I was used to those. I like the characters more as well. For example. Tara over Oz, Anya over Cordelia, etc... Season 5 is my favorite season...the first season I watched as a whole actually. I fell in love with the key storyline, and Glory. It's also the perfect season cause: A full year of Xanya and Tillow, after Bangel, and before Spuffy!! Anywho, awsome show!

I'm one big Anya fan, she so should of got her own show. As you said she was humerous, dramatic, sympathic, serious all rolled into one and five times out ten all at the same time! I actually felt like my heart was ripped out when she died in the finale because to be honest, she is the only reason I watch the show!
So should of been Andrew or Dawn that got the chop, they are both extremely annoying, useless characters! And plus it would of been a hell of alot more dramatic at the end with Buffy finding out she lost her sister in the battle as well as Spike!

I agree! Although I think Joss wanted a bit more of a happy ending, so you couldn't kill off the core four or Dawn. Buffy died for her once already...it would push her over the limit But, I certainly wouldn't miss her! And she should have gotten her own show! Hmm...maybe I'll write a fanfic for that or something...meh, I'm already doing one virtual series And why chop? It was so...I dunno. And if you blink, you miss it! It's like she wasn't important or something
