I've seen bit and bobs here and there but I've never really got down and watched it, I love Jennifer Love Hewitt and she should of been Paige not Rose, sorry Rose lovers. So yeah, it's pretty good.

It's a good show and I had planned to watch the latest season, but I kept forgetting to watch it.
I have the first season, though. I won it (and a box of other JLH and GW items) from a contest at FanLib and I really liked it. It's a pretty good show. (I hear the second season is extremely emotional.)

JLH was the acctress that was origanaly chosen to play Paige. She does look more like Holly & Alyssa than Rose & Shannen do. I like both Rose & JLH so it doesn't really bother me.
Wow. Your really lucky. I got Season 1 for Christmas.

I think the only think that might of been wrong with her is that she looks taller than the other two, it's because of her figure I think. Even her face is really thin, though as I said I would of her preffer Hewitt over McGowan. Rose's acting can be so off at times.

I much prefer Rose to Jennifer. (I actually liked that Prue and Paige looked more similar, while Piper and Phoebe looked more similar.) And JLH is so sweet, I just don't think she would've been able to pull off Paige. (Like the big boobs episode, I have a hard time trying to imagine JLH acting in a part like that. Or just pulling off Paige's quirkiness in general.)

JLH and Rose are different actresses with completely different styles.
Jennifer Love Hewitt is an actress that is suited to the sweet kind of characters. Whilst Rose is more suited to the funny, quirky kind of roles.
I couldn't imagine JLH playing Paige in Charmed but I can't imagine Rose playing Melinda in Ghost Whisperer.

Paige is Rose. There is no difference between them, Kern admitted he based her on Rose!

JLH would have made a good Paige in my opinion, but in the end I perfer Rose.

Well you do know that they made Paige around Rose right? They mentioned that in an interview for the fourth season of Charmed.

Yep, it's annoying me that I can't remember which one. I do remember that when the interviewers were on set that it was during the filming of "Size Matters" 'cause I recgonized the clothes and Dave Navarro lol.

BOOK: Plague Room AUTHOR: Steven Piziks Year of publication: 2008
Melinda finds herself pitted against Wendy King, a self proclaimed medium. While Wendy cannot see and talk to ghosts like Melinda can, she is bale to cross them over. Problem is, Wendy forces the ghost to cross over before they are ready, which prevents the ghost from fulfilling the task they remained earthbound to do.
Furthermore, Wendy actually charges people for her services. This is something that Melinda has never done, as she helps ghosts because it is in her nature, and the goodness of her heart. She is not in it for the money.
Needless to say, this puts Melinda and Wendy in conflict with each other. As the conflict escalates, Melinda begins to notice that Wendy has a ghost attached to her, a ghost that may be encouraging Wendy on.
To complicate matters further, there is a new Bed and Breakfast about to open, in a house with dark secrets that are about to be revealed.
This book is set during the first season, as Andrea is there. As most of you know, Andrea was Melinda's best friend and business partner, who know her secret. Andrea was one of two people (Melinda's husband, Jim, being the other) that Melinda could trust with it.
This book also has a scene right out of the show. While driving, Melinda is stopped by a female cop, who asks for Melinda's license. While this is happening, Melinda notices that the cop is wearing a uniform that is twenty years out of date, and has no computer in her car. Melinda realizes that the cop is a ghost, and vows to one day come back and help the cop cross over.
So, if you are a GW fan, you'll like this one.
10/10.

BOOK: Ghost Trap AUTHOR: Doranna Durgin Year of publication: 2009
Melinda is baffled when all the children in Grandview start slipping into a coma. There is no medical reason for this to happen, however, there is a supernatural one. A ghost is causing it.
However, Melinda is having a hard time pinning this ghost down. Usually it's easy for her, but this time the ghost is elusive. The only clue is a mysterious lullaby that Melinda keeps hearing, the same lullaby that lures the children into a coma.
The premise of this novel is based on the idea that children can see and hears ghosts, but grow out of it as they get older. As only children are the ones affected here.
This events of this novel take place after the start of the second season, as Delia is there.
Once again the characters are spot on.
10/10.
