BOOK: Revenge AUTHOR: Doranna Durgin Year of publication: 2008
In this novel, Melinda finds herself dealing with the vengeful ghost of a murdered man. That is challenge enough. However, the ghost is haunting the person the thinks murdered him. Yet it seems that the ghost is targeting the wrong person.
And it doesn't help matters that the man the ghost is after is not being too helpful. He does seem to he harbouring a secret, but what is the secret in question. If he is not the murderer, than who is? And can Melinda unravel the truth before it's too late?
This reminded me of a few episodes of the show, which dealt with a ghost of a supposed murder victim. Often Melinda would not only have to help the ghost cross over, but try to find out who killed him/her as well. Not always an easy task. The same problem applies here, Melinda trying to help a murder victim's ghost not only find peace, but justice as well. Not always an easy task (as the legal system does not recognize the existence of ghosts).
One again the characters were spot on. Doranna Durgin has done her homework for the two GW books she wrote.
This novel takes place in or after S2, as Delia is there.
10/10.
And that's it for the GW books, They only published three of them. I'm guessing that, had the series continued, they would have published more. But, alas...

BOOK: Ghost Trap AUTHOR: Kim Moses & Ian Sander Year of publication: 2008
This is an information guide to GW. It includes interviews with the cast, producers, writer, etc. And takes a look at the episodes and their meanings.
It has an introduction by Jennifer Love Hewitt herself.
Bear in mind that this book was published in 2008, and covers only the first three seasons. As far as I know, no updated edition was ever published, that covered the last two
