I was just passing by, i saw the thread, laughed with your comment on the presidential primaries, thought to provide you with more motivation (and dreams), so here goes:
Don't get so exited about the race. Think of this:
John "Bomb Iran" McCain in the White House, fulfilling, according to him, his ultimate destiny, to spread the American Empire.
If things go well tomorrow, those from the Powers that Be in the States that have that dream may see it fulfilled.
Now think that the US (and Russia) have 7200 ICBM warheads ready for launch. And picture McCain, in HIS state of mind, with the Key to those missiles.
You may screem now.

xrs on the Communist nuclear Brinkmanship at the Cuban Missile Crisis (1962)
In 1962 the most dangerous "act" of the "Cold" War took place when Communist Russia, sencing its weakness towards the aniti-communist "camp", led by the US, attmpted to place missiles in Cuba to threaten the US. During that crisis, Chruschev pushed it by declaring that Russia would "shoot first" if the US invaded Cuba to destroy the missile sites. THAT pushed the world to the brink. But the Communist leadership, evil but SANE, saw the nuclear holocust looming over the political horizon and withdrew her threat... and the missiles.
Now how does this compare with Johnny boy? Simple. Imagine that he's elected and faces a crisis with Iran. He can't invade and win by use of conventional military force, believes that Iran has the Bomb (it hasn't) and orders, in his desperation, the use of thermonuclear weapons, because he's JOHN MCCAIN baby, nobody will make a pancy out of him, and the Russians and the Chinese, Iran's allies, respond likewise. Do you think, Camille, that Johnny, who appeared SINGING in PUBLIC, "Bomb Iran, Bomb" has any sence of what he's doing, unlike the Soviet leaders? I think not. I majored in phycology and my impression of McCain (and not only mine) is that he's not exactly "sane".
Oh, by the way, he won the republican primaries. So, heads up.

No tht is a definate squee it looks soooooo ACE!! Nd Billy Connelly is in it! (He's scottish!) So tht's 1 reason y i want 2 c it!
I so hope Obama wins the election! I may be from britain but we hear alot of what is going on 4 the elections!
My english teacher has FINALLY left my school so i am happy! (Something nae realli 2 squee abot but still i'm happy!!)
