And anyone thought of bringing Andy Trudeau back to life as a whitelighter or what? Give Prue a surprise. I would love to "see" her faint when she sees him in person. That's really funny.

I think that would be pretty boring to have Andy come back, leave him in peace!

What in the world is up with hair styles/colors? Who cares?!
They don't need to state why hair has changed in the show because they are FEMALES! It's what we do. When we feel like a cut or dye, we do it. There does not have to be a reason for it. Get over it.

Oh I don't know I think certain hairstyles do need a reason...like a lot of alcohol consumption, traumatic headwound, every mirror in the house being destroyed. (or pissing off the set's hairdresser). I'm speaking mainly of course of styles like Piperhontas & Phoebe Mouse. Also finger in electric socket Billie (we could have at least seen her do it...)

RFLOL. Priceless.
But yeah, honestly. I don't understand the relevance of the hairstyles. Who cares? It's a very MINOR detail. If you're going to be that picky about something... jeesh. Detailed descriptions of hairstyles just really don't become part of scripts. Nor explanations, reallly, of why a character may choose such a hair style. Unless of course it's a movie about a beauty shop, etc.
Like Drama said. Women change their hair on a whim. There doesn't always have to be an explanation for it.
I'll admit. I've done it myself! Two months ago my hair was to my mid-back, then because I just felt like it, I went and had it all chopped into a very short pixie cut. Not quite as short as Phoebe's in Season Six. Somewhere between that and Princess Di. But the only reason that I did it? Was because I was in the mood to that day. Minor details.
It's like being especially particular about the kind of cereal the Charmed Ones eat. Unless that happens to be a character quirk. Like Prue and her love of Twizzlers. Not a huge plot issue in the grand scheme of things.

That is not the place and you will have to read the series to find out whether that is possible!

Hi I'm new and I haven't had the chance to read all of the eps yet but I wanted to give you a suggestion for future installmenst. What if the girls invoked the elements like: You could call the episode The Elemental Sisters Prue would be like air strong but beautifulPiper would be earth Wise and mysteriousPhoebe would be fire because it's elusive and sexyand Paige would be Water maliable unpredictableThanks for the suggestions, but they really belong in this thread: Here (clickable). <---- That's the thread for Suggestions for the Series. P.S. I really like your Prue banner.

Hello, again! I'm back and that, together with a dimminished load of work means... this message! What? No shouts of joy?
Anyway, i liked the hair talk. Why? Because it hides the "scalp talk"! I think the deep inuendo, the BIG question that lies behind all that talk is "what are you going to do next season?" All the rest serve as a means to kill time till the S5 premiere. Oh, by all means, do a "written" teaser trailer, just a little. You're murdering people out here! (okey, i'm a little impatient, but i control it... most times) Now you know how studio executives feel... in a way. Pressured.
Fortunately for me, after a long and hard analysis, i think, that i have narrowed down my estimates, as to where your C:RR plot is going, to... 5 (or 6) theories. Your statement that you have the basics of S5 planned already, helped, so thanks! [evil grin] At the end of next season, i'll tell you just HOW predictable you are, dear writers (oh, and rest assured, you're much much LESS predictable than the avarage Hollywood "screenwriter"; it has got SO bad, that one can guess the plot of a "typical" Hollywood flick right to the last scene, from the trailer! Where do they get these "writers" from?)
And about the Elementals: Jh7058622 is both right and wrong. How? Because the sisters are already, as far as their portayal goes, the "Elementals". They don't have the matching powers, but they have the personalities to much the 4 Elements (an episode of that sort wouldn't be bad, too...)
Prue, i think, is fire. She "burns up" by her will to save innocents and fight Evil. In the S4 finale she "burned up" with anger against Matt's "betrayal". The clensing fire of "Law and Justice" (a referance to a previous "review" of mine). Always ready to "explode" against everything that tries to hurt her family, "spends" (like a candlefire) herself to protect the others. Obsesses too. Can hurt (because of that), like fire, the people she loves, if she doesn't control herself properly (in the manner one controls a campfire).
Piper we all agree is earth. Stable. Dependable (Piper is always described as "the down to earth sister"). Gives birth to life and sustains it (Piper yearns for children). Her maternal, nurturing (chef, "tavernkeeper"), instincts are always clear, her balanced role evident. Always enduring, a hard, yet not obsessive, worker, never complaining (till now) always ready to bear, suffer all, like "mother earth". Feels uneasy for the fortune of her children.
Phoebe is the air. Flirty, unpredictable, you cannot tie her down (only Cole can...) Moving around constantly, all seeing, all hearing, always floating, but also constantly changing, like emotions do on a rainy day. Can become completely unstable, violent, dangerous, even evil.
Paige is the element of water. Flowing too, like the air, yet in a controled fashion (water does not fly off). The opposite, yet in a complementary fashion, of fire. Enriching the earth, controlling fire, giving a visual aid to air (the wind dancing on water, helps us understand the wind's presence, while the wind focuses our attention to the surface of the water). Completes the first three elements.
And all that is NOT my idea. These are the ideas of a Greek philosopher of the 5th c. BC (yes BC!), named Empedolcles. He combined all the "Natural" philosophers' ideas (of that time) into one unified theory/archetypal artisic impression regarding the essence of the Cosmos, of the POWER that moves and formulates the Cosmos (a power of 4 elements). In constant "eros" (unity, love), or even opposition (dislike), to one another, these four elements make up the world, not by their similarity, but by their difference.
We all have SO original ideas...
P.S.: Zeus is the master of thunder/fire, Hera, the mother of the Gods, is favored by Mother Earth (can cause earthquakes-hey, piper worked at a restaurant, called the QUAKE. coincidence?). Aphrodite, the Goddess of love and passion, is carried by the Winds and Athena, the Goddess of wisdom, the youngest of the higher Olympians and the completion of their circle, is portayed in BLUE and white clothes (Paige's orbs are blue with a little white--like running water). NOW how were the "Charmed Goddesses" portayed by Kern in his S5? See any coincedence? Hmm?

I was listening to my music when I clicked this thread. Saw it was you and turned it off. I always love your posts; they're so informative.
Coincidence? Yes. Plus, I think they named it Quake because it's San Francisco. I don't give Charmed much credit with things like that. This was Season 1 and Season 5. *shakes head* If it was still in Constance's hands...maybe, but not Kern.
Interesting. I wouldn't have thought of the Sisters (expect Piper) as the elements you've described, until after you described them. It's so true!
And here comes baby sister Paige to always unite them.

Hey guys, I just got done reading 4x16 Strange Days At Baker High. All I can say is that I got goosebumps when I read the final act, and that has never happened to me before when I have read anything online, and rarely on tv, the last time I remember watching tv and getting goosebumps is when I watched the O.C. Season 2 finale(sorry getting of subject). I mean you writers are really talented, I don't just feel like I'm reading just another tv show(in this case virtual tv show) I feel like I'm watching actual people living their lives. Good job!

Thank you very much for your kind words wcharmed, it means alot that you are not just reading but enjoying our series. And I like your ideas xrs but as we do, they'll be a twist, something you won't quite see coming. But remember, we're fans too and we're writing the wrongs, so more than likely most of the ideas that appear we've already thought of. The plans for the next season two of three season were planned roughly way back in the winter but more ideas always help.

"Where others see coincedence, i see... purpose...reason" Morheus, the Martix reloaded Although I agree with you on some level I still believe that Phoebe would be more Fire because she has be said to have a dark side many times in the series even able to conjure fire in her past life. Also since when is Air fithy? Pure are is clean and not at all how you discrbed it in my eyes. And allthough I am on the fence because the characters have both aspects of Air and Fire most of my reasoning for Prue to be Air and Phoebe to be fire was because it fit the manip I made more. So at the end of the day they can be put enterchangably into both.
