Seems like with Piper's children, the tradition changed - just family names. Melinda - Warren Patricia - Piper's mother Christopher - Leo's father Victor - Piper's father I really like how it's in the family. Too many Ps could get confusing...lol I never noticed that, that's pretty cool. Yeah too many P's can get very confusing. Family names are good.

Speaking of Tempus... Have u watch Season 3 finale? Cole did told Phoebe that Tempus did not get vanquished, they only injured him. He was talking about that Tempus wasn't vanquished in "Deja Vu". The sisters didn't vanquish him back then. And then they said that using Tempus now would be it for him.

Yeah, that's what i mean. The sisters injured Tempus in Season 1 finale. They thought he is vanquished until in Season 3 finale when Cole told Phoebe they didn't. So that they have the chance to turn back time to relive Piper.
U did said that Tempus is dead. If not then I'm confused right now. -_- lll

"Have you played tick-tak-toe?"
"Yes"
"But you don't play anymore. Why?"
"Because its a boring game. It's always a tie"
From 1985's "War games"
A responce with a "thank you"...
First of all, thank you, Astral echo and Drama for your kind responce. I feel that this is the least i can do to honor the collective and hard work of you 4. You made a dream of mine come true with this RR, so this is the least i can do to encourage and possibly help, if i can...
And now for a responce to Xenith's post and Drama's... responce to my "hate you" note (posted to express levity and a fact).
XENITH, you made an exellent job, defending the impecable Continuity of your AU plot. And you are right in all your reasoning.
But i wasn't refering to a continuity issue.
You must have heard, as a child, the story of the "Little Red Riding Hood". But you don't like the story anymore... Why? The plot is very good, continuity wise. The "Red" goes to her granmother's house, where she is swalloed whole, along with the poor owner of the house, by the big bad Wolf. Then a dashing Hunter comes and frees them, by killing the Wolf and cutting them out of his belly, before they are digested.
Is there a problem with the story's Continuity? Everything follows smoothly, as it should, one after the other with no gaps in between...
UNLESS you start realizing that REALISM is the problem, not continuity. I'm using this "extreme" example to show that Realism and Continuity are two different things. Your story is NOT cotradictory to itself (the definition of a Continuity isuue). It's not even unrealistic. All i, the "tyrant of perfection", as a friend characterized me (so true), wanted to point out was that the story is not yet (in my opinion) at the level i've described as the Absolute Realism. The only thing that separates an Exellent plot from Legend, if you ask me.
All i want is to point out the difference between the two. Now let's see how this applies to our case (the Queen). The Oracle, by exploiting a cunning oprtune moment, became the Empress of the Evil Demonic Empire. But THAT is not the most difficult of things. Staying a LIVING Empress in a feudal society is the most difficult task, because ALL the great Lords of Evil desire the Imperial Crown. Read the story of the Holy Roman (German) Empire to understand that. In a world were every, even petty, demon desires to acquire more power, even the Throne, an Empress in order to stay alive, has to not trust ANYONE, especially a player with tremendous power and a secret she does not know. Two rules every smart dog (and Emperor) knows: First, you cotrol your territory, like a good dog and know EVERYTHING. If you don't, and somebody else does, what you don't know or control can kill you. And two, you grabe your bone and not let go. Better a buck in hand that 10... to be delievered. If the Oracle/Queen believed Lillith and worked along with someone she didn't know, she's a fool! And fools don't stay alive for long in politics, unless they have backing. And the Oracle doesn't. SHE backs schemes, not the other way around. So now what we have is a rival pole of authority in the demon world. The Queen knows this, that is why she screams at Lillith "i'll find you!" (and you can bet they won't be playing cards, if she does!). The Queen will kill her... to stay alive. What i'm saying is she wouldn't work with her in the first place. She would hear her proposal, then try to capture, torture her for info and kill her. She wouldn't get involved in a game she doesn't (ultimately) control. If the Queen is like what you say, she would be dead a long time ago. She wouldn't last eight days, not eight moths on the Throne. BUT if the Queen, or Lillith, were smarter, the COs would be dead, so no more story. See?
Hence my assumption that, in the end, the Queen is going to lose power and die, replaced by Lillith, (or another?) who will prove to be a more formitable, even deadly, enemy of the COs. That's why i called her gullible! But if she was gullible, how did she stay alive for so long? Wouldn't she be dead much sooner? That's not a cotinuity question. It's a (small, very small) gap in your realism. And, hey, give me a break! I have to bitch about something! But, seriously now, i'm writing all this not because i want to criticize you but because i want to help an exellent (if you ask me) storyline become "Legendary". That's why i always urge you to think outside of the "box". To free yourselves of conventional storylines. And Prediction!
And that brings us to DRAMA: Drama, let me hate you! Have you ever wondered why was i named the "plot-seer"? Do i have a magic crystal ball, like the Queen, to give me the ILLUSION of clarevoyance? No! I can (partialy or wholly) "see" where the plot in a story is headed by understanding the "motives" (named cliches, if they are overused) by which the story evolved out or around. Why? Because i have seen them BEFORE, in other stories. Repeated again in a different form, but always with the same core (eg the COs representing, as archetypes, logic- Prue- action -Piper- emotion -Phoebe- and result of the above -Paige). Someone named Twin Swords had responded then by writing "there are NOT any original storylines, just stories told in a different WAY". Absolutely correct! THAT is how i can "predict" were you are headed! I've seen it before! In a different, more or less, way but it is the SAME archetype of a story plot.
That is how i half-guessed were you were headed in the S4 finale and the first part of S5. I was familiar (still) with about 50% of your storyline. But now i'm not. Now it's about 10-20%, just the character archetypes (and them not wholly). I did NOT see, not by far, the "twin" plot. When Piper started having cotractions i thought that Lillith had somehow poisoned her, not a 2nd child! Realistic (with every great power there is opportunity and danger) and in sync with prevoius seasons (Grams said, i think, that males didn't handle magic well); so maybe Constance M. Burge wanted to pave the way for a wiccan male distant relative of the COs to appear (?). Maybe i'm reading too much into this, but that statement frees you of continuity issues, because i think it means that wiccan males existed in the Halliwell line. I did not see Lillith (i fowsaw Elder treason, not that you would think "out of the box" and introduce a bigger, more ancient threat for the COs). I did not see Prue blinded by emotion in Matt's case (very logical, very continuous, but not very archetypical), Melinda Warren's intervention (making her something more than a casual "blast from the Past") Victor's redemption, the Founders with their agenda, etc. The list of what i did not "forsee" grew longer while my list of certainties became thinner and thinner. That's why i "gawked" and knew you had "evolved". I couldn't "see" the archetypical storylines so much anymore. New truly original storylines took, gradually, their place. The level of realism (you, call it "darkness", but it's simply the "gray" reality of life, so difficult to untangle good from evil) increased expodentially after the "Prophecy" and Lillith's introduction (hopefully you will "bring her back" in the future).
To sum it up: I love to "hate" you! I want you to go all the way, think completely out of the box, i want to be totally bewildered, to wait, like a passenger in a car in a mist confidant that the drivers are experts, for you, the "plot-drivers", to lead us all not to the green pastures of Exellence but (i'm greedy, i know) to the Paradice of Perfection and Legend. You CAN do it, now. It's all in your grasp now. Take the "Ring", let the Charmed "world", as we know it, fall (paraphrasing LOTR); a new "world" to take its place!
PS: That's your present for the New Year! Happy Maturity!

Oh, it's so sweet hearing/reading your comments, XRS. I don't read many Charmed fics (and when I do, you know it's really only Bianca/Chris...), but they do get predictible because it seems like people think they're limited or something. They don't always think "outside the box" and it's sad. For the twins, they liked one thing and I liked another, so we compromised and that's how we came up with this idea for two. Best of both worlds, you can say. And I think that helps us with CRR. We do have different opinions on things from each other, and then from the show. We don't have financial constants to limit us on actors and special effects. And, unlike the original show, we have things planned out FAR in advance. Everything we've done will lead to something now or later. Maybe it's because we can do it because we don't have to worry about a network cancelling us. *shrugs* But, I'm glad we're different. That we're not "predictible." That has to be one of the best complements ever.

Finally, I caught up with you guys! I decided to stay away from the reviews until I read, and now I'm glad I did, what a pleasent surprise for them to have twins. That was so great, and the whole drama before hand with not having the ultrasound, looks like they didn't want mommy and daddy to know. I'm wondering slightly whether Matt is gone for good, and it was a great twist with him, something I didn't actually see coming. I can't wait for the next episode now, can't wait to see what you have in store for them, and what's going to turn up as the twin's first demon. Keep up the good work, guys.

Yay, I finally caught up with reading this lovely season. I was really way behind. heh.
I'm surprised to see twins. I never expected that. I expected Melinda though but I didn't expect another. But I like the idea. Twins, though Technically, Melinda would be a few seconds older. XD. Though he would be special since Chris is the first boy born intot he Warren line.
Marvelous job on the characters, especially introducing characters that appeared in later seasons of the show.

New episode, and it's V-Day themed. Haven't had one since season 2. I liked this episode and how Prue was bitter and angry then how she had to deal with love and getting turned to the dark side, again, then coming back.
I also liked how Paige used her Chronokinesis, haven't seen it done in awhile.
But Piper and Leo bringing the twins to the club? I thought that was kind of weird since it was a place for people over 21 and they're just babies, plus shouldn't they be in bed? And the noise would make them cranky and cry. They never brought Wyatt or Chris there either in the series.
Overall, 3/5.
Oh! And I noticed that Lisa Robin Kelly wasn't credited and Shawn was taken out of the Co-Starring section, is it really the end of Matt?
Favorite Quotes:
PHOEBE: I knew it! You were planning on pulling a Power of One!
PAIGE: That might be a wise idea. I’m a little worried that she hasn’t checked in yet. (A toilet flushes.) Okay, I’ll call you back in ten. (She hangs up and as she turns around, COOP appears. PAIGE jumps back.) What the hell?
COOP: Too hot for me, really, but that’s beside the point. (He grabs her arm.) I think your sister’s in trouble. (The woman walks out of the bathroom to find PAIGE and COOP standing there. She yelps at first, then her face gradually turns to disgust. She makes a huffing noise and leaves. COOP shakes his head.)
CUSION: Do you honestly want to stand up for it after what it’s done to you? (He narrows his eyes.) Who was he? (pause) She?

And I noticed that Lisa Robin Kelly wasn't credited That would be my fault. Sorry! But thank you for letting us know, I fixed that that. As for Shawn...heh. I guess we'll just have to see.

Great V-Day episode, I loved how you brought the whole of Prue's emotion over Andy back. That was great. It annoyed me how the writers just seemed to forget about people who had been on the show, but one and a half seasons into your creation and he's still mentioned I noticed Shawn not in the opening credits, but I'm keeping an open mind about whether he'll show up again or not. Anyway, great episode and I'm looking forward to next week's.

Glad to see people actually checking out the creds and not ignoring them. Prue and Andy. *sighs* God, it was disgusting how Andy was mentioned barely a handful of times after his death - in seven years. I mean, Piper knew Andy BEFORE Phoebe was even born. Hello! But, of course, we here at CRR actually stick with the concept of "[four] sisters who happen to be witches" and not the other way around. Family is first, and foremost, what the show is about. To forget someone who died, someone who was as close to the girls as Andy was, and died for them, is just sick. Charmed Destiny - I love those quotes, too. Especially the Cusion one to Prue. LMAO. Never know. It IS San Francisco.

Yep, I like to see who's going to be in the show. Make's it more real.
That was always weird to me, they have it set in San Francisco, yet they don't have any people who swing the other way.
Hmm....

You and me both. Personally, I think it may have been one of those "we don't want to offend anyone with something too controversial" choices. (Like the choice to not have a Christmas/Yule episode or to use the triquetra instead of a pentacle.) I think they only ever had two gay couple mentions in the entire series, and both were very quick mentions (not including Piper's season one crack during the Piper/Leo/Phoebe competition) which doesn't make sense to me at all. San Francisco is the Gay Capital of the World, they should've just got over it.

Both of those nods were in S7 weren't they? The lesbian lover from Charrrrrmed (handled surprisingly well) and then to make up for that the pathetic stereotypical gay columnist that Phoebe dealt with when she was made editor(!) of the Mirror for a day in Scry Hard.
The photographer from S5's House Call may have also been, again he acted a lot like the feminine male stereotype...and he was a male fashion photographer which are obviously all gay *rolls eyes*
Oh and try to indicate Chris at your own risk. Just a friendly warning.
(And dam it why do I still remember stupid Phoebe subplots, and worse what episodes they came from? Ugh.)
