AND I LOVE IT! Oh my gosh it's sooooo much better than middle school! I love my classes, the teachers make it look so easy since they explain things so well! I absolutely LOVE IT!!! So don't be too surprised when/if I PM one of you and ask for help. Mostly with Algebra I, which I think is going great to be honest.
My favorite class would have to be Phys. Science. My teacher is so hilarious it's unbelievable!! I take two math classes(Math Lab and Algebra I) I used to hate going to math class back at the old school, but now I actually look forward to it! Basic Skills Development LA is awesome. We get to go onto the computers in that class, as well as English 9. Which I HATE! Not because of the subject, but because of the teacher. She acts so preppy and oh my gosh her VOICE! If you went to my school you would NOT want her as your teacher!(I tried to get my Mom to move me to Mr. Hutchinson's class, but my sister forbids it so Im going to ask again tomorrow). Life and Career... I FINALLY understand the meaning of the class. Ha ha yes it took me awhile to figure it out. The teachers awesome too. Geo/History of the World. This class is awesome. We got to play bingo on today LOL! And than Algebra I which I must say again is going absolutely awesome!!! My teacher for Algebra/Math Lab ROCKS! I LOVE her attitude and accent!
So I must say once again, don't be too surprised if I PM one of you and ask for help. I'll probably need it too.(And of course I'll ask my teachers so don't worry! ;D)

Hey, Chris! Glad you're enjoying High School. My sister just started, too, but I don't know her views yet. I'm already at college, away from my family. lol. Is your sister in that English class? Is that why she doesn't want it? LOL. More reason TO get into that class.

You like high school? I'm amazed. I had a completely different high school experience. Mine was awful, full of teachers with power trips, a weird sexist female teacher (the odd thing was, she favored the boys), P.E., foreign language, math, and a principal who treated us like middle schoolers (in other words, with zero respect) because he transferred ("followed") from the middle school to the high school my Junior year. *cringe* And don't get me started on all the pointless "outlining, rough draft, rewrite #1, rewrite #2, and final draft and DON'T FORGET THE 80 REQUIRED NOTE CARDS!!!!" And all those standardized tests, my GODDESS! I don't know, I guess I prefer college much more. (I know, right? I can't believe I'm saying it either.) But for me, college is the place where you get treated with respect and people are flexible with you. Not to mention, they also don't have all the needless crap they make you do in HS English classes that claim to "prepare you for college" (thus the note cards, rewrites, and dreaded outlines). But for what it's worth, I'm glad you're having a good HS experience, because four years of insufferable torture is not the way to go.

Sometimes I wish I could go back to high school. When I was there, I didn't mind it but I wanted to leave as soon as I could. Although, when I left and now that I'm in my final year at uni, I just want to go back and do it all again. Actually enjoy every minute that I was there. So, Chris, I'm really glad you're enjoying it and hope it continues to be so much fun for you

Funny reading old posts like this. Two U.S. Presidential Administrations ago.
Of course, Chris has long since graduated by now.

Of course, Chris has long since graduated by now. Indeed, weird how time flies. I'd certainly be interested in finding out whether that enthusiasm lasted.
