Do you think that since we are getting the last season so late that we might possibly get the original theme song for the credits? Cause I can't imagine it with the other instrumental piece although I do not mind it, I would just reather have the original.
But one thing I don't really like is how it says, "Charmed: The Final Season" I'd rather have "Charmed: The Complete Eighth Season" although I don't mind it again haha.
Oh and everyone who has it, how do you guys like the new theme?

I've heard the theme and it's no comparison to our theme. It's Season Eight over here in the UK and now the final season. It's on sale for around £48 depending on where you buy it.

Oh and everyone who has it, how do you guys like the new theme? It sucks! I hate watching the credits when I do season eight reruns, I have to skip passed them. It's understandable why they wouldn't wanna renew the liscene for the song but, seriously, for a diehard "Charmed" fan it's terrible! However, the extras are worth buying the set. Throughout "Charmed"'s eight years on air, the fans never really got to see much of what went on behind the scenes - nothing whatsoever, maybe the occasional snippet here and there, but nothing fantastic like other shows get. So the extras in this are great but it would've been that added bit of briliance if there was a little more of the fun stuff, such as gag reels or deleted scenes. Apparently Region 1 may get those anyway... plus, you'll all be getting the commentaries by Brad, Brian, Kaley and Jim for episodes 8x01, 8x10 and 8x22.  Hopefully I can maybe score myself a copy of the US version somehow! lol. For those that are willing to see all the extras and the new theme song from the Region 4 release of the season eight DVD, this is my YouTube account, where I have uploaded it all for everyone. Oh so that's why we have to wait so long? Because we get commentaries? Cool. I hope we get the original song at least.

It was annonced somewhere that the US will also have the unoriginal theme.

Yeah, I do really miss the original theme but I really don't think it's that bad. We still get How Soon Is Now on the reruns and I don't have the DVD's so I don't really mind.

i do like the new theme but "how soon is now" is the THEME for charmed no matter how many times they change it!!!!!!!

Not to mention is it just me or did they not even try to get song which even somewhat syncs with credits? Bah! All though in a season full of things that don't fit or make sense I guess it's only right that the same fate befall the dvd credits...
(Not like I plan to watch the episodes much anyways, I still got my downloaded HD TV versions of Vaya Con Leos and Forever Charmed, and it will be a looooooong while before I'm tempted by any other episode.)

I just got the DVD set today. I hate how the theme is changed, it didn't make me happy one bit. I did however like that it was insync with the music, like Xenith mentioned. I love Charmed and love my DVD's, but didn't I hear that there were going to be gag reels or bloopers? Guess not. Oh well. Stupid DVD people. |

Yeah they were, four parts I believe. Kern managed to do one good thing and push for that to be put on it. He obviously sold it to Paramount.
