I'm using firefox too, the latest version. I never touch IE since its always been too slow on my laptop. I haven't had to update my java for a while because I just updated my operating system so it all did it automatically. This is why I was wondering whether it was to do with Windows 7. Its not too bad, I can just click on teh quote and read everything from there. THe only thing that I can't see is the guest cast since there's no "quote" button. Whats really strange is that it's only on this site, from what I've found. I can still click the spoiler tags on my own forum and on a couple of others.

I guess I can open up the thread, I just hope people don't leave comments, that's why I locked the thread in the first place.

I was surprised at last night's episode and wanted to say you know how to keep people on the edge of their seats. I knew there was something that I liked about Matt and now I know why because he's Andy. So many clues were given and yet no one caught on except for a few. It was great that you didn't make him a whitelighter after all this time because it would be a cope out but maybe being from the future reincarnated is interesting but Death claims he's still dead unless he had a necromancer give him life. That would be dealing with dark magic and not Andy's style though but still can't wait to see what he was as Matt. Also the trial is coming up and can't wait to see what that entitles. Hoply like the last trial there's a platform that shows clips for the girls to make their claim but Destiny may be the one to do that. Also like twin sword's said, it would be cool to see the side effects of Matt/Andy's actions have been such as saving Phoebe and having a daughter. Maybe Death will take Phoebe like originally intended but yet he may honor the agreement of Piper giving up her powers for her sister's life. Also Darrel staying with Sister after the death of her husband may take him out of the show like in the original charmed but hoply you keep him, but like we saw in morality bites he wasn't there so maybe by sending him away then you guys are keeping with what the future should be without the witch trials. It's any-body's guess and can't wait to see how it unfolds.

It's any-body's guess and can't wait to see how it unfolds. No, I don't think Death will take Phoebe, since we already know that both Alyssa and Holly have signed their new contracts for next season. That means either Prue or Paige might not be part of next season and we know Fourever Charmed would never get rid of her favorite sister, especially now that she's matched her up with her favorite guy, Drake. Both protesteth much too much; I'll be shocked if they're not married before the series is over.
So I have a hunch that both Andy and Prue will have to give up their souls so that their child can grow up good *sniffle, sniffle*. That means we'll find ourselves with Piper, Phoebe and Paige as the Charmed Ones to battle the next Big Bad, whatever that is.
I'll admit that personally I hope that after this all happens, Chris, Bianca and Alejandra go back to their better future--and, please, we *know* that Chris and Bianca will end up together in the future, no way Drama would allow for anything else--while Melinda stays behind and becomes the third member of the new Power of Three instead, so her mother can remain unCharmed. Yeah, she's a daughter and not a sister, but I have a hunch if you guys wanted to do this, you could figure a way.
But I have a hunch it's Piper, Phoebe and Paige that we will get. At least I get to keep my two favorite sisters of this series, Piper and Phoebe.
Of course, if I'm wrong and Ted and Shannen also sign new contracts, I'll be both shocked and thrilled.

Yeah, but Es, but the information which was divulged was that Holly and Alyssa signed contracts to appear in the next season, it was never stated how many episodes they would appear in or how their character would appear (Flashback? Summoned? etc ...). Source: As for the Prake romance continuing, I don't think it will or at least Paige and Drake won't settle down together. Prake do have chemistry -- sexual tension -- but that's about it, really. Paige and Glenn have much more, IMO. Paiglenn are much better suited, at least in C:RR verse anyways. Oh, and I've pretty much voiced my thoughts on Alejandra, following a continuity already set in place, she should cease to exist.

Yes, she should, but I'd bet an entire set of C:RR DVDs (don't I wish...) that she won't. As I said, Drama would never allow it, the way she wants Phoebe to end up with Jason (ish!) and Fourever wants Paige to end up Drake (ishier!) Phoebe with Drake and Paige with this series' version of Glenn (not the original one) makes so much more sense.

But I have a hunch it's Piper, Phoebe and Paige that we will get. At least I get to keep my two favorite sisters of this series, Piper and Phoebe. I do not appreciate the snide attacks aimed at Jackie or myself. Nor do I appreciate Paige being used as a vessel to aim attacks at me. We both know that Paige is not my favorite sister. And yes, we know you don't like Paige, you like Prue. I also know that you hate that I do love Paige and I'm fully aware that you hate that I love Paige's parents as opposed to Prue's parents.
C:RR is not the first three seasons. Prue is not the star as she was in the first three seasons. Nor is Paige, no matter how much you taut that she is. None of the sisters are "The Star." They each have their role and I have come to enjoy each one of them in a special way, based on their own merits both from the original series and C:RR. I'm not exactly sure where your resentment of Paige comes from - I theorize that perhaps it has to do with the fact that Paige replaced your "St. Prue" - and it seems that it has given you blinders. You make claim after claim that Paige is the star. Yet, where's the proof? Paige hasn't even had a significant storyline since she was introduced as the fourth sister.
Season 1 - The Prue Season Season 2 - The Piper Season Season 3 - The Phoebe Season C:RR's Season 4 - The Paige Season
It follows suit that more of season four would be dedicated to Paige, as we had to introduce and develop of her character, not to mention that each of the previous seasons that C:RR uses as its canon were devoted to one sister more than the others, so naturally Paige got her season (which consisted of getting to know her sisters, getting used to her powers, adjusting to her place as the previously unknown fourth Charmed One, and a little romance with Glenn) when she was introduced.
Since then, what has she had? An on-again-off-again romance with Glenn, a short lived love triangle with Henry and Glenn, she moved into the Manor, became the third Charmed One when Piper gave up her powers and gained a new power only to lose her other power, and she got a promotion to Social Worker. Oh, and she dyed her hair.
Compare that with the other sister's storylines: Piper suffered a devestating miscarriage, she gave up her powers, grows some backbone that she didn't have in the first three seasons, got pregnant again and gave birth to magical twins, she moved out of the Manor and got her own place, and she found out part of Mandy's secret and was sworn to keep it by Melinda Warren so she had to lie to her sisters. And that's only in C:RR.
Prue developed a full romance with Matt, they broke up, he came back and she suffered with unresolved feelings from the distrust issues, they sleep together, he vanishes, and she gets pregnant. Then she meets up with Mitch again, old feelings for him resurface as they get back together, and then she has her daughter and attempts to adjust to live as a single mother only for Matt to pop back into her life and reveal he's actually the love of her life, and then he and her daughter get ripped away from her by the Angel of Destiny.
And of course Phoebe gets deeper into her romance with Cole, struggles with the idea of giving up her identity and freedom as the baby sister because of his proposal (twice), then when she finally realizes she's ready to commit he gets murdered right before her eyes, propelling her into months of grief, and only recently has she started to move on with her life and realize it's okay if she happens to like someone again.
Paige's C:RR storylines pale in comparison to the storylines her sisters have had, both in C:RR and in the first three seasons, prior to her arrival. It baffles me how you can say with a straight face that she's the star.
In C:RR, I believe we've taken focus and the progressive perfection away from Superwitch Prue and given more attention to her sisters, allowing them to be the "superwitches" from time to time, each having their own time to shine. I loved Prue, she was my second favorite sister for three years, but nevertheless, that was one of the things that always bothered me about the first three seasons. Prue was so dominate that her sisters rarely got to be in the lime light. Piper didn't even have a backbone and wasn't able to grow nearly as much until Prue died, because she almost always submitted to Prue. I guess that can be attributed to the fact that Shannen was Spelling's big star and thus so much of the show had to revolve around her character. Thankfully, C:RR doesn't have to cater to one star over another. I'm sorry if that bothers you, but C:RR is about four sisters, not just one.
