[Scene: San Francisco Police Department. RAE EVANS walks up to the desk where DARRYL MORRIS is sitting and drops a manila folder in front of him. She presses her palms to the edge of the desk and leans towards DARRYL as he looks up from his computer screen.]RAE: I found a link between the two victims. (DARRYL picks up the folder and begins to leaf through it.)DARRYL: What is it? (RAE doesn’t answer him. She watches as DARRYL discovers an old sepia toned photograph of two women with burned edges in the file. He holds it up.) DARRYL: What’s this? RAE: The link. (DARRYL squints and turns the photograph over, but it just has a smoke marred back. He flips it back to the side with the women. They are dressed in early 1800’s style clothing and are standing in front of a porch.)DARRYL: Are these ancestors of the deceased? RAE: (nodding) Susan Davis and Geena Louise, known for their “cult following” in the late seventeen-nineties and early eighteen-hundreds. DARRYL: (suspiciously) What kind of cult following? RAE: Witchcraft, devil worship… DARRYL: Not synonymous. (He stands up. RAE gives him an odd look, but he misses it. She grabs the folder and pulls a paper out of it and holds it out to him.) What’s this? RAE: A list of all the other known members of the cult. I have people working on tracking down their known descendants right now. (She shrugs.) It’s a long shot but- (DARRYL grabs his coat from the back of his chair and zips by RAE without looking at her.)DARRYL: Call me when you’ve got something! (RAE watches him disappear out the doors. She flicks her wrist in an annoyed and slightly confused fashion and then proceeds to grab the file and leave as well.)[Scene: Vermont. Rutland. 1892 Oxford Drive. There is one gray minivan in the driveway, next to a neatly maintained yard with a large tree and tire swing and rose bushes lining the front walk.]
[Cut to inside the house. A middle aged man, MARSHALL McKINNLEY, is pouring a mug of coffee as his wife, DELLA McKINNLEY, rushes in, talking on her cell phone and carrying a briefcase. MARSHALL turns around just as she flips the phone closed and kindly holds the mug out to her.]DELLA: Thanks! (She downs a drink. Together they walk over to the table where two plates of buttered toasted lathered in peach jam are. They each pick one up. DELLA only takes a few bites before downing more of her coffee and then turning to her husband.) Thanks so much for breakfast, but I really have to go. MARSHALL: Oh, come on, just finish the toast! DELLA: I gotta go. (She leans in and they kiss.) I’ll see you tonight. (As she turns her head to leave, she freezes in her tracks as she sees LILLITH and the small blonde child, VOLAC, standing in their kitchen. She drops her briefcase. MARSHALL darts in front of his wife. LILLITH claps once, causing MARSHALL and DELLA to forcefully break apart and slide to opposite sides of the kitchen.)LILLITH: (warmly) Go ahead, Son. (VOLAC’s blue eyes turn pitch black. MARSHALL presses his fingers to his head.)LILLITH: (smirking) Your mind tricks won’t work on him, he’s far too smart for you. (LILLITH smiles at the child. VOLAC holds out his hand and twists it. Flames rise on MARSHALL’s clothes. He screams and begins to roll to put out the flames, but they spread rapidly, turning from orange to an electric blue. His shirt disintegrates, leaving fine dust on the floor, and then the flames catch onto his skin. DELLA begins earsplitting screams, which unite with MARSHALL’s screams of agony. The blue flames rip disintegrate MARSHALL’s skin and soon all that’s left is a skeleton left in a twisted position and looking more like a Halloween decoration than the remains of a human body. VOLAC’s eyes return to their serene blue and he focuses them on DELLA. She begins to shake her head.)DELLA: No. No, no! Please! (DELLA begins to slide backwards on the tile floor, trying to get away from VOLAC and LILLITH. VOLAC makes a sideways glance at LILLITH. She nods encouragingly. VOLAC makes a twist and jerks it. DELLA’s head suddenly twists and snaps with a loud crack. She falls backwards, limp against the wall. LILLITH takes VOLAC’s small hand.)LILLITH: Good boy! (They blink out.)Clickable Credits.

Act One
[Scene: Manor. Attic. PRUE HALLIWELL is sitting on the floor wearing grey maternity sweats and a white baby doll-type pajama shirt with an empire waist, and her long raven hair has been pulled back into a high ponytail. Sitting across from her within a circle of lit candles is ANDY TRUDEAU. PRUE is talking, but ANDY looks a little distracted. He keeps glancing back at the ceiling. Finally, PRUE stops talking and makes an audible coughing noise. ANDY looks at her.]PRUE: You’ve got a Leo look, what’s the matter? ANDY: A Leo look? PRUE: When The Elders are calling him right in the middle of something important. ANDY: Oh. (He laughs.) Sorry… PRUE: What is it? (She folds her arms.)ANDY: Well…I kind of have to go. PRUE: Go? Why? PENNY's VOICE: Because he knows he’s wasting time. (PRUE looks up.)PRUE: (confusedly) Grams? (A spiral of lights appears next to ANDY, depositing PENNY HALLIWELL. PRUE jumps up in time with ANDY.) PRUE: Grams! (She glares.) What are you doing here? PENNY: Well I was waiting, albeit impatiently, but enough is enough. (She points at ANDY.) You’re going to have to leave, we have work to do. PRUE: Work? What work? PENNY: You haven’t forgotten the Growth Ritual, have you? PRUE: (confusedly) Growth Rit…wait, you mean like we did for Piper when she was- PENNY: Seven months pregnant. (She nods gleefully.) That’s the one! (She motions her hand to PRUE’s stomach.) And according to various oracles and visionaries I happen to have a few connections with in the afterlife, and some Tarot cards of course, today is your seven month mark. (PRUE squints her eyes.)PRUE: You have Tarot cards in the afterlife? PENNY: Of course! (She huffs.) We also have gin rummy decks. (PRUE looks surprised.) Well, what did you think spirits do all the time? Just float around and talk? PRUE: Well…yeah. (ANDY and PENNY look at each other.)ANDY: That would get a little boring after a while, Prue. (PRUE glares.)PRUE: Well, don’t blame me, it’s not like I’ve been to the afterlife before. (PENNY holds up her hands.)PENNY: I think we’re straying from the point of my visit. (pause) We need to pick up the pace here. Don’t you remember how complicated the ritual was last time? We’re going to have to make up for lost time. (She glares at ANDY.) All because someone was too polite to get down to business. (ANDY sighs.)ANDY: (to PRUE) I guess I should go. (PRUE frowns.) I’ll see you tomorrow morning. (PRUE nods. He motions to PRUE’s stomach.) Good luck with the Growth Ritual. PRUE: Thanks. (PRUE waves as lights spiral around ANDY, whisking him back to the afterlife. After he’s gone, PENNY steps out of the circle and becomes corporeal.)PENNY: Alright, first things first. Let’s go find your sisters! (She heads for the door.)PRUE: Uh, Grams- (PENNY just keeps walking, so PRUE shakes her head in annoyance and shuffles after her.)[Scene: Piper and Leo’s house. Kitchen. Mushy baby rice is littering the tile floor under PIPER HALLIWELL’s feet. She’s sitting on a chair in front of her son’s high chair; her large brown eyes are in a deadlock with his wide green ones. PIPER raises another stubborn spoonful of baby cereal.]PIPER: Come on Chris, you can’t live on powdered milk alone! (She makes a zooming noise.) Open up for the airplane, please honey? (BABY CHRIS HALLIWELL’s face begins to turn red. He turns his head away from the spoon. PIPER groans. She hears the sound of the front doors slam and looks up to hear the distant sounds of bickering floating down the hallway. She taps her fingers excitedly and abandons the bowl of baby rice on the table and scoops BABY CHRIS into her arms.)[Cut to the living room. MELINDA HALLIWELL drops onto the couch with her arms folded in a childlike pout.]MELINDA: We should just tell them. It’ll be quick and painless and then we’ll have a head start on how we can stop them. (CHRIS HALLIWELL stubbornly shakes his head as he leans against the back of the second couch.)CHRIS: Planting a premonition is better. They’ll start to unravel things by themselves and it’ll decrease the amount of- PIPER's VOICE: There you are! (She bursts in, holding up BABY CHRIS.) I need to know the big secret. (CHRIS and MELINDA look at each other, alarmed.)CHRIS: Mom, you already know- PIPER: Could you at least give me a little hint? (She shakes her head.) I’m afraid I’m going to starve you! CHRIS: Starve me? PIPER: Yeah. (She frowns.) I’m talking about Little You and your plague-like resistance to semi-solid food. (pause) What were you talking about? (MELINDA jumps up.)MELINDA: Oh, he’s just being his usual self, ignore him. (She waves her hand. CHRIS shoots his sister a nasty look to which MELINDA winks.)CHRIS: Sorry Mom, I can’t help you. PIPER: (sarcastically) Future consequences? CHRIS: Actually, no. (He shrugs.) I just don’t remember. (to BABY CHRISs) Just keep doing what you’re doing. (He motions to himself.) Obviously something turns out right. MELINDA: And if by “right” you mean a completely neurotic nephilim with allergies to sweet potatoes, then yeah, I guess you’re absolutely right. PIPER: (to CHRIS) You’re allergic to sweet potatoes? CHRIS: Mel! MELINDA: What? I’ve just saved us all some projectile vomiting in the future, I think it’s for the better. (The phone rings.) Oh! I’ll get that! (She snatches up the cordless phone.) Hello? [Scene: Manor. Kitchen. A pot is bubbling over the stove. PENNY is in front of it and PAIGE MATTHEWS is standing to her left while PRUE is standing to her right. PENNY is using a large wooden spoon to stir the liquid, which looks white and creamy, like milk.]PENNY: (to PRUE) So, have you been practicing your powers? PRUE: Practicing my powers? (She looks over at PAIGE.)PAIGE: Well, if you mean have we had a decrease in demons lately, then no- PENNY: That is most certainly not what I mean. (She grabs a handful of juniper berries and tosses them into the potion. The pot sizzles like bacon.) And I take it by your lack of an adequate response that your answer is no. PRUE: And what would be adequate to you, Grams? PENNY: Don’t get smart with me, Prudence. You should be practicing your powers - your active powers of telekinesis and astral projection - every day for at least two hours. PRUE: And when did you come up with this? PENNY: Every witch knows this, Dear. It’s part of magical pregnancy, like a prenatal vitamin. PAIGE: Why? PENNY: Why? (She turns away from the pot and folds her arms. The spoon continues to stir by itself.) Prue, how have your powers been lately? (PRUE glares.)PRUE: Fine. PENNY: Oh? (She smiles slyly.) So no accidental slips? No telekinetic mishaps? No accidentally channeling the baby’s powers when you meant to use your own? PAIGE: Oh! (She points to PRUE.) Like when we vanquished Anton and you accidentally zapped him. PRUE: Okay, but that was a one time thing- PENNY: What about when you made Rupert’s coffee explode on him? PRUE: What! How did you even know about- (A look dawns on her face. She curls her fist.) Andy! I’m gonna kick his transparent ass! Blabbermouth. PENNY: Well, it’s a good thing he told me. (PENNY turns back to the pot and takes the spoon out as PHOEBE HALLIWELL walks into the kitchen with the cordless phone in hand. She sets it on the charger.)PHOEBE: Piper and Leo are on their way. (She notices PENNY slide the potion to the back burner and cover it with a lid.) Is it done now? PENNY: No, it needs to simmer for ten minutes, don’t you remember? (PHOEBE glares.)PHOEBE: Hey, it’s been a while since Piper was pregnant, okay? It’s not like making this potion is a regular occurrence. PENNY: (to PHOEBE and PAIGE) After the potion’s done simmering, I’ll need you two to bottle it and put it in the refrigerator- (PAIGE nods.)PAIGE: It has to cool for…three hours, right? PENNY: (to PHOEBE) Well at least someone remembers. (She grabs PRUE by the arm.) You, on the other hand, need to come with me. We need to start work on your exercises immediately. (PENNY leads PRUE out of the kitchen. PAIGE and PHOEBE exchange looks.)PHOEBE: What was that all about? PAIGE: I don’t know, but it doesn’t sound like fun. [Cut to the stairs. PENNY is walking behind PRUE.]PENNY: Now I trust you still have those old dumbbells you used to work out with in high school, right? PRUE: (laughing) Those have been gone for years, Grams! (She notices the unpleasant look on PENNY’s face and stops laughing.) But I do have some modern dumbbells that I bought around the time Phoebe and I started taking tai-kwon-do classes. PENNY: Well, at least you have something. (They reach PRUE's room and walk inside. PRUE heads over to her dresser, while PENNY takes a minute to look around the room, which has several boxes strewn about.) PENNY: What’re all these boxes doing in here? (PRUE pulls two blue dumbbells out from her drawer.)PRUE: I’m remodeling. PENNY: For what? PRUE: The baby. (She motions to the walk-in closet. The door clicks and slides open, revealing the empty room. The shelves have also been taken out and a coat of white primer has been applied to the walls.) What, Andy didn’t tell you about that too? PENNY: (frowning) You’re placing the baby in a closet? PRUE: We’re converting it to a nursery. (PENNY takes the dumbbells from PRUE.)PENNY: This child needs more help than I thought. (She misses PRUE’s nasty look as she weighs the dumbbells in her hands. She shrugs.) They’ll work for now. (The dumbbells levitate from her hands and hover for a few minutes before bobbing up and then floating to the ground. She nods to PRUE.) You try. (PRUE makes a swift motion of her hand. The dumbbells lift into the air, hover, and then glide back to the ground.)PRUE: Satisfied? PENNY: Not at all. (She snaps her fingers.) Again, and don’t stop. (She curls her hands as if she’s holding invisible dumbbells and begins to move her arms back and forth as if she’s lifting them.) Copy this motion, but use your mind to lift the dumbbells. (PRUE does as instructed. The dumbbells rise and fall as PRUE moves her arms back and forth. PENNY smiles approvingly.)PENNY: Good. (She watches PRUE.) Wonderful! Just like how I did when I was pregnant with your mother. PRUE: You used to do this? PENNY: Of course. (She points her finger.) And you should be happy you’ve been blessed with telekinesis. Other witches have to become more creative with their exercises, like your mother for example. PRUE: What did she have to do? PENNY: I used to take her out to a shooting range and made her freeze clay disks every day for two hours. (She shakes her head.) She was a fantastic complainer, but in the end she knew I was right. (She motions her hands.) Okay, switch! Begin channeling your powers through your eyes now. (PRUE narrows her eyes, switching her gaze from PENNY to the dumbbells. She drops her arms to her sides, but the dumbbells continue to rise and fall as PRUE had been instructed.)PRUE: Geeze Grams, could you sound anymore like a drill sergeant? BREAK

Act Two
[Scene: Manor. Entry way. PHOEBE is opening the front door. She finds DARRYL standing on the front porch.]PHOEBE: Darryl! (She steps aside, allowing DARRYL to come in. He doesn’t say anything, causing PHOEBE to eye him with suspicion.) This isn’t just a friendly hello, is it? DARRYL: Afraid not. (He dangles the photograph and list RAE gave him in front of PHOEBE.) You’re just the one I wanted to see by the way. (PHOEBE takes the photograph and examines it. DARRYL stares at her.) Is anything coming to you? PHOEBE: Uh, you mean a premonition? (DARRYL nods.) No…what’s going on? DARRYL: Yesterday the San Francisco PD was contacted by the Davenport Police Department in Washington. Apparently the information we’d entered into ViCAP matched one of their newly entered cases: that of a young woman whose skeleton had been found in a twisted position, completely cleaned of all flesh, and lying in fine ashes which were later determined to be her remains. (PAIGE walks in.)PAIGE: Darryl! (She grins until she notices that both DARRYL and PHOEBE aren’t.) Uh oh. PHOEBE: You can say that again. (DARRYL hands the list of names to PAIGE, who looks it over.)DARRYL: This morning my partner came to me with that list and (he points to the photograph in PHOEBE's hands) that photo. Apparently the women in it are related to our vic and the Washington vic. They used to be in a coven. (to PAIGE) The paper you’re holding is a list of names of the other known members of the coven. PHOEBE: (to PAIGE) Vengeful demon? PAIGE: That’s what I’m thinking. [Cut to Prue’s bedroom. PRUE is still telekinetically lifting the dumbbells as PENNY watches her.]PRUE: Mind explaining why, exactly, we have to do this? PENNY: Why? So your powers don’t spiral out of control, of course. They’re tied to your emotions, remember? And when you’re pregnant, your subject to any number of hormonal changes. (She places her hands to her hips.) I’d wager you were angry when that Rupert’s coffee exploded? (PRUE makes an irritated noise, but doesn’t answer the question.) The danger is that something far more public could happen if you were to be struck with a sudden mood swing. Or, in the case of channeling the baby’s powers, you wouldn’t want to accidentally electrocute an innocent when you meant to push them out of harm’s way, would you? PRUE: I guess I see your point, but I’m still wondering how exactly daily exercises help me keep them in check? PENNY: It’s akin to meditation. You develop control during the exercises. PRUE: I guess that makes sense. PENNY: Of course it does. (pause) I’d also advise you to use your powers whenever you can, for anything really. The more use the better. PRUE: You mean like personal gain? PENNY: Personal gain. (She snorts.)PRUE: Wouldn’t that make someone (she looks at the ceiling) upset? PENNY: They don’t have control over situations like this. (She folds her arms smugly.) Either they let you do a little “personal gain” or they risk innocents and potential exposure. The choice is pretty simple. (She snatches the dumbbells out of the air.)PRUE: Are we done? PENNY: No, (she nods to the bed) lie down and astral project. You should be practicing both of your powers. (PRUE grumbles as she gets comfortable on the bed and lays her head in the pillow. Her eyes close. A moment later a ruby flare appears before PENNY and ASTRAL PRUE materializes. PENNY hands the dumbbells to ASTRAL PRUE.)ASTRAL PRUE: I don’t have my telekinesis in this form. PENNY: I know. I just want you to lift the weights as you normally would, but with your astral self. (ASTRAL PRUE huffs and begins lifting the dumbbells. There’s a knock at the door but before either ASTRAL PRUE or PENNY can answer, the door opens. PAIGE, PHOEBE, and DARRYL walk in.)PHOEBE: Sorry Grams, but I think we’re going to have to put the Growth Ritual on hold. (She holds up the sepia photo.) Duty calls. (She notices that PRUE is asleep on the bed while ASTRAL PRUE is lifting the dumbbells.) Uh, (confusedly) what’s going on? (ASTRAL PRUE sets the dumbbells on the floor and disappears. PRUE awakens and sits up.)PRUE: We can talk about that later. (She slides off her bed. DARRYL’s pager goes off. He pulls it out of his pocket.)DARRYL: It’s Rae, she’s got some names for me. I’ve gotta go. (He slides the pager back into his pocket.)PHOEBE: Okay, we’ll see what we can find out and then maybe we can compare notes in, say, an hour? DARRYL: Sounds good. (He leaves.)[Scene: Piper and Leo’s house. Garage. The back door of PIPER’s green jeep is open and MELINDA’s feet are hanging out. BABY CHRIS is secured in his car seat and MELINDA is on her knees, strapping BABY MELINDA HALLIWELL into the car seat. MELINDA sits back, giving her infant self a thumbs up. PIPER walks into the garage as MELINDA climbs out of the back of the car, carrying the Twins’ diaper bag. PIPER looks a little frazzled.]MELINDA: Something wrong? (PIPER pauses as she stands next to the jeep.)PIPER: I have this strange feeling that I’m forgetting something. MELINDA: Dad? (PIPER shakes her head.)PIPER: He’s still not answering my calls, which means his meeting must be pretty important. (She stares at the Twins in their car seats.) I have the nagging feeling that I’m forgetting something. MELINDA: (nodding) Then you probably are. PIPER: (glaring) Thanks for the reassurance. (She drops the Twins’ diaper bag on the floor beside BABY MELINDA and shuts the door.) Oh well, I guess it’s not too important. (She rounds the car to the driver’s side as MELINDA hops in through the passenger door.)[Cut to the kitchen. Two bottles labeled in permanent marker with an “M” are sitting on the counter. The phone rings.]
[Cut to the master bedroom. The phone rings two more times and finally the red light on the answering machine turns on.]VICTOR's VOICE: Piper, it’s Dad. I was thinking of dropping by and I wanted to know if you were home. Call me back. (A red “1” begins blinking on the answering machine screen.)[Scene: Manor. Attic. The Charmed Ones and PENNY are there. PAIGE is looking through the Book of Shadows while PHOEBE is sitting on PEARL RUSSELL’s tattered sofa, attempting to summon a premonition from the photograph or the coven list. Discouraged, PHOEBE opens her eyes.]PHOEBE: It’s not happening. (She squints.) Hey! (She holds the list of names out to PENNY.) Grams, you’re dead, do you know any of these people? (PENNY glowers.)PENNY: Just because I’m dead doesn’t mean I know everyone in the afterlife, Phoebe. (She snatches the list and looks it over.) That’s like saying just because you’re from San Francisco means you should know everyone in California. (She chews her lip.) No, sorry, I don’t. (She hands the paper back to PHOEBE.) Those are too old for me. I associate with people I knew when I was alive…and of course spirits of the Warren line. PaAIGE: What if we just summon Susan and Geena? Maybe they could shed some light on why someone would be after their descendants? (PRUE claps her hands.)PRUE: That’s a great idea. (She walks over to the Wicca chest and opens it, but it slams down. Everyone looks at PENNY.)PENNY: What did we talk about? (PENNY wiggles her index finger. PRUE sighs dramatically and squints at the chest, pulling open the lid with her mind. With a quick slice of her hand, the five summoning candles rise from the chest form a circle in on the floor. She proceeds to use her power to light the candles with the lighter, also from the Wicca chest. As the lighter glides into PRUE’s palm, she eyes her grandmother.)PRUE: Happy? PENNY: Delighted. (LEO WYATT orbs in. Everyone turns their attention to him.)LEO: I gad you’re all here, because I need our help. Three witches have been violently killed and The Elders think that whoever’s responsible isn’t stopping there. PRUE: (suspiciously) These witches wouldn’t happen to be descendants of witches from the same coven in the eighteen-hundreds would they? LEO: The Oneiromancy Coven, how did you know? [Scene: San Francisco Police Department. Men’s restroom. DARRYL walks into a bathroom stall. As he’s locking the door, he sees a blue light glow from under the stall next to him. He squints his eyes.]DARRYL: (whispering) Leo? CHRIS's VOICE: Not quite. DARRYL: Chris? What are you doing here? [Cut to Chris’s stall.]CHRIS: (quietly) I need you to collect some of the dust. DARRYL's VOICE: Dust? What dust? CHRIS: You know, from the (whispering) witches. (The door on CHRIS’s stall bursts open and DARRYL walks in with a furious look on his face. He presses his fingers to his lips.)DARRYL: (whispering) People do walk in and out of here you know. CHRIS: (whispering) I was trying to be quiet. (DARRYL’s face appears sour anyway.)DARRYL: (whispering) Why do you need the remains? CHRIS: Never mind that, just bring some with you when you meet up to bring my aunts the list. (He looks up.) I’ve gotta go. DARRYL: Wait a minute- (CHRIS orbs out. DARRYL curls his fists in frustration.) I hate it when they do that! (He stomps out of the stall to find a young police officer, who is standing at the sink washing his hands, staring in his direction. DARRYL shoots him a dirty look.) What are you looking at? (The officer turns away and DARRYL leaves.)[Scene: Manor. Attic. The Charmed Ones, LEO, and PENNY are standing around the summoning circle, which contains the transparent spirits of SUSAN DAVID and GEENA LOUISE. SUSAN and GEENA look pale, even for spirits.]SUSAN: The only reason I could possibly think of someone wanting revenge on both our descendants is if…is if- GEENA: Someone released Volac. PHOEBE: Who’s Volac? (GEENA and SUSAN look at each other.)SUSAN: Volac’s a demon. (pause) A demon child, to be exact. At least the last time we saw him he was. PAIGE: And let me guess, he’s been that way for a couple centuries. GENNA: Since we imprisoned him. PRUE: You weren’t strong enough to vanquish him? SUSAN: He’s unvanquishable. (PAIGE, PRUE, and PHOEBE share the same expression.)PHOEBE: A lot of demons are before they come face to face with the Power of Three. (GEENA shakes her head.)GEENA: You don’t understand, he’s blessed with the power of immortality. PRUE: You’ve got to be kidding me! PAIGE: How are all these demons getting immortal? This is like the third one! PHOEBE: Technically, the Sea Hag wasn’t a demon, she was just a Water Mistress turned evil, and Anton was a warlock, not a demon. PRUE: (grumbling) Same difference. PHOEBE: (to PRUE) And unfortunately we don’t have anymore auger shells to use because you and lil’ Sparky in there blew up the last one. PENNY: So, how did you imprison him last time? Perhaps my girls can replicate the process? SUSAN: It takes five witches. PRUE: Phoebe, Paige, Piper, Melinda, and myself. GEENA: No, one must be immortal. PAIGE: Too bad we’re fresh out of those. SUSAN: Not just any immortal, it has to be Georgia. PHOEBE: Who’s Georgia? GEENA: Georgia’s Volac’s mother…so to speak. BREAK

Act Three
[Scene: Manor. Attic. SUSAN's and GEENA’s spirits are gone and the candles have been blown out. The Charmed Ones and PENNY are there. LEO orbs in.]LEO: I’ve talked to Georgia’s whitelighter and he’s given me her address. (He hands a piece of paper to PRUE.)PRUE: Hawaii? PAIGE: Figures. The only time you ever get to go to exotic places is on business. (She holds out her hands.) Well, let’s go then. (She forms a circle with LEO and her sisters and they orb out. PENNY folds her arms in annoyance.)PENNY: Leave all the ritual preparations up to the dead witch why don’t you? (The sound of the front door slamming downstairs is heard.)PIPER's VOICE: (calling) Anybody home? (PENNY grins.)PENNY: Perfect! [Scene: Hawaii. Georgia’s house. The sisters and LEO are walking up a sandy path lined with seashells. In the near distance the teal waves are lapping at the beach.]PHOEBE: I bet it must cost a fortune to live here! (She looks over her shoulder at the beach.) It’s gorgeous! PAIGE: I’m sure you probably work up a nice nest egg when you’re immortal. (They reach the front door of the beach house. PRUE knocks. A moment later the door opens, revealing GEORGIA DUNN, who appears to be in her late forties or early fifties.)GEORGIA: You must be the Charmed Ones. (She steps aside, allowing them to enter her home. She smiles at LEO as he enters last.) And Leo? PHOEBE: (curiously) Are you telepathic too? (GEORGIA laughs as she shuts the door.)GEORGIA: Goodness no. Shawn, my whitelighter, dropped by just before you got here. (She motions to the living room.) Please, take a seat. (She sits down in time with the sisters and LEO. She moves her hands neatly to her lap.) So…you’re here about Volac. PRUE: We were told you’d be able to help us imprison him. (GEORGIA sighs.)GEORGIA: We can try, but it’s exceptionally dangerous. Only Geena, Susan, and I survived last time. PAIGE: If you don’t mind my asking, what happened to turn Volac evil? GEORGIA: He was born evil. PHOEBE: (rigidly) I don’t believe children are born evil. It’s the way they’re raised. GEORGIA: You don’t understand. Volac was never born, he was created. PRUE: Created? As in a test tube demon? GEORGIA: Very much like that, actually. (She sighs.) Over two centuries ago, The Source - the one that you and your sisters vanquished a little over a year ago - came to power. As with any new leadership, there was opposition. Demons wanted to try and overthrow their new Source and take the power for themselves before he had adjusted to his new position. He feared his downfall and wanted reassurance. [Flashback: GEORGIA is lying on a sacrificial stone table. Her arms and legs are bound. An eruption of flames appears beside her, forming into the black hooded SOURCE OF ALL EVIL. GEORGIA shakes her head defiantly.]GEORGIA: I’m not afraid of you! You can’t kill me. THE SOURCE: I don’t need to kill you. (An athame appears in his skeletal hand.)GEORGIA: If you take in my blood it will kill you. Immortal blood isn’t meant for those who aren’t blessed with the gift from birth. THE SOURCE: I have a different idea for your blood, witch. (THE SOURCE drags the athame across her throat. Rich blood pools from the wound before the knife continues on down her neck and the flesh slowly repairs itself. When he’s finished, a fist sized pool of blood lies on the slab, next to GEORGIA’s neck. Her white shirt is slowly sucking up the life giving liquid. THE SOURCE slides his athame through it, collecting a small portion on the silver blade. He carries it over to a cauldron and tilts the athame, allowing the blood to drip off. Finally, he uses the blade to slice off a piece of the yellowed flesh from his bony finger. The flesh falls into the cauldron and a mushroom cloud of black smoke rises from it. THE SOURCE begins to chant in a dead language.)[Cut back to the present. GEORGIA unconsciously touches her finger to her throat.]GEORGIA: He used my blood to create the perfect heir. (angrily) An immortal heir who he believed would bow at his feet. (She shakes her head.) But he didn’t treat him as such. He used him as body guard, a permanent shield against his enemies. Volac took all the hits…and soon he became resentful of the abuse. PAIGE: He began acting out, didn’t he? GEORGIA: (nodding) And The Source became fearful. Volac was too powerful, he not only had The Source’s powers, but he had immortal life, something The Source could never have. He feared that one day Volac might vanquish him and take the Underworld for himself. LEO: So, you agreed to help contain Volac? GEORGIA: No. At first I was spiteful and eager to allow The Source to lie in the bed he’d made, but soon Volac began to kill witches. I suppose it was a last attempt to earn his “father’s” approval. I couldn’t let that happen, so I got the four most powerful witches in my coven and we vowed to stop him the only way we knew how. [Scene: Manor. Kitchen. BABY CHRIS and BABY MELINDA are sitting in their baby carriers on the island. PIPER is rummaging through the Twins’ diaper bag while PENNY and MELINDA are seated at the kitchen table. PENNY is in the middle of talking.]PENNY: …and anyway, he orbed off with them just before you left. (She notices MELINDA staring at her from the corner of her eye.) You know Dear, you could always take a picture. MELINDA: Sentimental trinkets don’t last very long where I come from. (PENNY grits her teeth.)PENNY: You must be Melinda. (PIPER shoots PENNY a questioning stare. PENNY smiles tightly.) PENNY: Andy’s mentioned you. (MELINDA nods.)MELINDA: I’m sure. PIPER: Andy? PENNY: Just what exactly is wrong with the future? (MELINDA opens her mouth the answer and a loud scream pierces the air. Everyone’s attention is diverted to the Twins. BABY MELINDA is crying. PIPER starts to un-strap BABY MELINDA from her baby carrier. The doorbell rings.)PIPER: Oh! That’s probably Dad. Mel, can you go get that please? PENNY: Victor! MELINDA: Sure. (She leaves.)PENNY: Who invited him? (PIPER lightly tugs at BABY MELINDA’s little jeans, pulling them down just far enough to reveal her diaper. She looks at the wetness indicator strip on the diaper, which is blue.)PIPER: (to BABY MELINDA) Uh oh, looks like we’ve got a wet one. (She adjusts BABY MELINDA in her hip and one handedly pulls out the changing pad and a diaper from the bag.) I did. He called my cell phone on the way here and I told him to come over. (She finally pulls out a thin package of wipes from the diaper bag. She manages to tuck them under her arm.) I’m going to take Mel to the bathroom, I’ll be right back. (As she’s leaving, MELINDA and DARRYL walk in. PIPER looks surprised.) Darryl! DARRYL: Piper. (PIPER waves the diaper.)PIPER: Diaper duty. DARRYL: A huh. (He sees only PENNY and BABY CHRIS in the kitchen.) Where is everyone? PENNY: Hawaii. MELINDA: Long story, believe me. (She looks at her watch.) I doubt they should be much longer though. (BABY CHRIS starts to whimper. MELINDA moves across the room and begins to help her baby brother out of the carrier.) He’s probably hungry. (She pulls an empty bottle and BABY CHRIS’s formula out of the diaper bag.)PENNY: Shouldn’t he be retiring from the bottle by now? MELINDA: He’s stubborn. (She flutters her eyelashes.) Any guesses on where that comes from? (DARRYL snickers in spite of himself, prompting PENNY to give both of them fierce stares.)[Time lapse. DARRYL is sitting at the table, strumming his fingers. MELINDA walks in with BABY CHRIS, who’s bawling. She puts the cover over the half bottle of milk and opens the refrigerator, only to find it stocked. She sees a medium sized plastic bottle on the top shelf filled with a white substance, PENNY’s potion, which looks like it’s about to fall off the edge due to all the things behind it. She gently pushes it back, but it doesn’t go very far. She frowns and looks to the compartments on the side door and eyes a little space in the very last compartment and shoves the bottle inside, next to a bottle of ketchup. She closes the door.]MELINDA: Sorry about the wait, Uncle D. (She shifts her crying brother to her other hip.) You could always leave whatever you have with me and I can have them call you when they finally get back. (DARRYL pats a folder that’s sitting in front of him on the table.)DARRYL: I guess. (He pulls out his pager.) Rae’s already paged me twice, so I really can’t wait any longer. (MELINDA manages to give him a hug, in spite if having BABY CHRIS crying between them. DARRYL frowns.) Is he okay? MELINDA: Yeah, he just wants his bottle…and Mom only wanted me to give him half so she can try and get him to eat cereal a little later. (She shrugs.) He’ll be fine…obviously. (She walks him to the door.) Guess I’ll see you later then. (She winks.) Tell Alicia I said hi. (DARRYL seems to pause at the comment, but nods nevertheless.)DARRYL: I’ll give her the message. (DARRYL leaves. MELINDA’s about to shut the door when she sees her grandfather’s car pull up. She grins and waves from the doorway before running down the front steps as VICTOR BENNETT emerges from the car.)VICTOR: Mel! (He spots BABY CHRIS, who’s quieted a little bit upon seeing VICTOR, but not completely stopped crying.) How’re my two favorite grandkids? MELINDA: Pretty good. (BABY CHRIS makes a wrenching noise and MELINDA looks down at him, only to see a gooey white blob of baby vomit on her top. She scrunches up her face and plugs her nose.) I retract that statement! (VICTOR digs into his pocket and pulls out a handkerchief.)VICTOR: Here, let me take him. (He hands MELINDA the handkerchief and accepts BABY CHRIS. VICTOR gently rubs his grandson’s back.) Got an upset stomach there, Chris? MELINDA: No. (She wipes at the stain with disgust.) He just made himself sick by crying over his bottle. (They walk inside.) Mom’s trying to get him to eat baby cereal and he won’t budge. (VICTOR chuckles.)VICTOR: Your mother was the same way at this age. (He looks around.) Where is she by the way? MELINDA: Attic. Grams has her helping to set up for the Growth Ritual. VICTOR: Oh. (He frowns.) Why don’t you go get cleaned up? I’ll take Chris into the kitchen and see what we can do about that bottle thing. MELINDA: Gladly. (She walks into the downstairs bathroom and is about to shut the door when she glances out.) By the way, Mom’s been mixing his formula milk with the cereal instead of water and that’s in a bottle in the fridge. VICTOR: (nodding) Gotcha. (As MELINDA shuts the door, he continues on through the dining room and into the kitchen. He sets BABY CHRIS in the carrier.) Okay Chris, (he spots the diaper bag and opens it up, revealing another empty bottle and a bib among other things and he snatches up the bib) here’s what we’re gonna do. (He puts the bib on BABY CHRIS and opens the refrigerator. He gives it a quick up and down look, not seeing the bottle MELINDA was talking about. Then he notices the plastic bottle containing PENNY’s potion. He frowns and takes it out.) Why doesn’t she just make it in the bottle? (to BABY CHRIS) There are just some things we’ll never understand, aren’t there? (VICTOR grabs the empty bottle from the diaper bag and uncaps it. He pours some of the potion into the bottle until it’s about a third full and then grabs the baby rice box and pours some of that into the bottle. He caps the nipple back on and shakes up the bottle, mixing the potion and the baby rice until it looks like thick milk. Then he grabs a knife from the drawer and gently makes a wider hole in the bottle’s nipple. He discards the knife and then holds the bottle in front of his grandson. BABY CHRIS’s eyes lock onto the bottle.)VICTOR: This is what you want, isn’t it? (BABY CHRIS makes a gurgling noise and stretches his hands for the bottle. VICTOR chuckles and hands the bottle to BABY CHRIS, who eagerly begins to suck on it.) I had a feeling you’d go for that. (MELINDA walks in, dressed in a different shirt. She sees her brother sucking on the bottle. VICTOR winks.) It’s got the baby rice in there. MELINDA: (nodding) Nice. Now if we could just get him to eat with a spoon like a civilized person, like Mini Me. VICTOR: Speaking of, where is Little Mel? MELINDA: Grams has me. VICTOR: Mind bringing you down here? MELINDA: If I can tug myself away. (MELINDA leaves. VICTOR pulls his hand away from the bottle, allowing BABY CHRIS to hold it himself. He grabs a bowl from the drainer and begins to whip up some baby rice with the potion, which he then replaces to the fridge. As he’s stirring it, MELINDA returns with BABY MELINDA. She sets herself in the baby carrier and fastens a bib around her neck. She winks at her little self.) MELINDA: Hey, look what Grandpa made us? (BABY MELINDA coos as VICTOR makes swishing plane noises with the spoon. BABY MELINDA opens her mouth and eats the spoonful of baby rice. MELINDA grins.) MELINDA: Look at that, I’m so cute! (VICTOR feeds BABY MELINDA a few more spoons of baby rice.)VICTOR: You’re the spitting image of your mom at that age. (MELINDA flips her warm brown hair.)MELINDA: (playfully) Yeah, I get that a lot. (As VICTOR continues to talk to MELINDA and feed BABY MELINDA, neither of them notice the glow coming off of BABY CHRIS. He drops the bottle and it rolls out of his grasp, landing on his legs. The glow slowly starts to become brighter and brighter until finally VICTOR and MELINDA notice it. BABY MELINDA giggles excitedly as the glow grows, consuming BABY CHRIS.)VICTOR: That isn’t normal, is it? (The glow disappears and in BABY CHRIS’s place is a little boy about four years of age with glossy brown hair and big green eyes, LITTLE CHRIS. MELINDA shakes her head in shock.)MELINDA: Definitely not! VICTOR: (yelling) Piper! (LITTLE CHRIS suddenly orbs out. VICTOR’s worried look becomes more grave.) VICTOR: Piper, get down here quick! MELINDA: Uh oh. (MELINDA points. VICTOR spins around to see the same glow that was emitting off of BABY CHRIS now coming from BABY MELINDA.)VICTOR: Oh no! No, no, no, no, no! (He scoops BABY MELINDA out of the carrier.) Stop! Whatever you’re doing, stop it! (The glow grows and envelops BABY MELINDA, transforming her into LITTLE MELINDA literally in his hands. PIPER and PENNY rush in just in time to see LITTLE CHRIS orb in beside VICTOR. PENNY’s face goes starch white and PIPER’s eyes nearly bug out of her head. LITTLE CHRIS waves.)LITTLE CHRIS: Hi Mommy! BREAK

Act Four
[Scene: Manor. Kitchen. PENNY flies across the room to the refrigerator, where she pulls out her potion. Her eyes bulge as she sees it’s over half gone.]PENNY: (screaming) Are you out of your mind?! (She waves the plastic container in VICTOR’s face.) You fed my Growth Potion to them! VICTOR: I didn’t know! (He shakes his head.) Mel said Chris’s formula was in a bottle in the fridge and I- (MELINDA bends down and grabs the baby bottle from the door compartment. She holds it up to him.)MELINDA: (sheepishly) I meant a real baby bottle. PENNY: (yelling) And you just had to go and give it to them at its most potent, before it’s reached its three hour cooling point! VICTOR: I didn’t know! PENNY: (furiously) That doesn’t make it any better! This is exactly why mortals and magic don’t mix! (LITTLE MELINDA covers her ears.)LITTLE MELINDA: (screaming) Stop yelling! (She stomps her feet.) My ears hurt! (PIPER comes into the kitchen.)PIPER: I can’t find Chris. He won’t stop orbing around the Manor. (to MELINDA) You have a telepathic connection with him, right? Can you- MELINDA: Our telepathic connection doesn’t actually develop until we’re fourteen, so I can’t get inside LITTLE CHRIS’s head…otherwise I’d track him down and freeze his little butt. PIPER: (yelling) Chris! Christopher Victor- (MELINDA cups her mother’s mouth with her hand.)MELINDA: I wouldn’t call Chris right now. PIPER: Why not? MELINDA: It’s just not a good idea, trust me. (yelling) Dad! [Scene: Golden Gate Bridge. CHRIS is leaning on one of the rust colored beams, staring out at the vastness of the blue-silver water beneath him. A cold rush of air rustles CHRIS’s hair and he looks down at the road below, which is filled with cars that look like little ants.]
[Flashback: CHRIS and ADULT DJ MORRIS are standing on the bridge. ADULT DJ is staring over the edge, but below there are no cars, only wreckage. The sky is dark, filled with heavy black clouds, and the bay looks like mercury.]ADULT DJ: You come here often? CHRIS: When I need to think. (He dips his hand into his pocket and pulls something out.) Tell me what you think. (He opens his palm, revealing a small velvet box. ADULT DJ takes the box and opens it up, revealing a diamond ring.)ADULT DJ: I think most girls would like that, don’t you? CHRIS: Bianca isn’t most girls. ADULT DJ: You got me there. (He examines the ring.) For what it’s worth, I think she’d like it anyway. (He closes the box.) So, you’re really thinking about asking her? And now, of all times? CHRIS: I figure if I’m going to die in the near future, I might as well have fulfilled at least one dream. (A funnel of blue flames appears across the beam.)CHRIS: DJ! (The blue flames fade die out to reveal ADULT VOLAC.)ADULT VOLAC: I knew you’d surface sooner or later. (An aqua colored fireball appears in his palm as CHRIS and ADULT DJ begin to orb. ADULT VOLAC lobs the fireball at the orb cloud, breaking it in half and knocking ADULT DJ out of the orb. ADULT DJ begins a direct descent towards the bottom of the bridge. ADULT VOLAC cocks his head, watching with amusement as ADULT DJ flails in the air. CHRIS’s orbs quickly reverse their ascension and dart through the air towards ADULT DJ. CHRIS’s head emerges from the orbs, followed by his arm. He waves it, attempting to bring ADULT DJ to him with his powers. Instead, ADULT VOLAC forms a fist with his right hand and twists it. ADULT DJ’s neck violently snaps and mere seconds later, ADULT DJ hits the road with a bone shuddering thud. CHRIS materializes next to him as blood begins to leak from under his friend’s body.)CHRIS: No. DJ. Deejay! (He touches ADULT DJ’s wrist and then squeezes his hand and orbs them away.)[Cut back to the present. CHRIS pushes himself off the beam and shoves his hands into his pockets. He steps one foot over the edge of the beam and then orbs out.]
[Scene: Manor. Living room. There are pounding footsteps sounding from the second floor, followed my intermittent screaming, taunts, and crashes. PRUE is rubbing her temples. PENNY is hunched over a notepad, writing.]PRUE: They are going to scream me into a migraine. PENNY: Now you know how it was like raising you and Phoebe. PIPER's VOICE: (yelling) Christopher, you orb back here this instant! (PRUE tries to peek over PENNY’s shoulder.)PRUE: How is that reversal potion coming along? [Cut to the hallway. LITTLE CHRIS orbs in mid run, bolting down the hallway. He darts by a stand with a vase, which wobbles and the vase finally falls off and shatters on the floor. LITTLE MELINDA runs out of PHOEBE’s bedroom and sees the broken vase.]LITTLE MELINDA: Ooh, you broke Grandma’s china! I’m telling Mom! (She runs down the hallway in the direction LITTLE CHRIS did.)[Cut to the attic. LITTLE CHRIS orbs in, giggling. He spots the Book of Shadows and starts to move towards it when LEO orbs in, blocking his path. He lunges at his son, but LITTLE CHRIS orbs out of his grasp. LEO falls onto the floor at VICTOR walks in. He holds out a helping hand.]VICTOR: I can’t believe this happened. I just wanted to help, I’m so- LEO: Oh no. VICTOR: What? (He notices that the sounds of pounding feet have stopped.) Either Mel caught him or- LEO: He orbed out of the Manor! (He runs for the door.) Piper! [Cut to the kitchen. PHOEBE is sitting at the table, examining the folder DARRYL left for her and her sisters. She’s trying to summon a premonition from the list of descendants when she realizes the noise from upstairs has stopped. She shifts her eyes back and forth as PENNY walks into the kitchen.]PHOEBE: Did you already change them back? PENNY: (sarcastically) Do you remember me being in here working on the reversal potion? (PRUE walks in.)PRUE: Any luck with the premonition, Pheebs? (PHOEBE shakes her head.)PHOEBE: I’ve tried just about everything I can think of, but I can’t seem to get a vision. (She pauses for a minute and eyes the folder.) Or have I? (She opens the folder again, revealing a small plastic packet of fine ashes. She holds it in front of her face and then opens the bag and pinches the sides. She pours a pinch of ash onto the list of descendants and closes the bag again.)PRUE: What’re you doing? PHOEBE: Shh! (She flexes her fingers and lays her hand over the ashes. Her shoulders square and her fingers lock into a claw formation with a clump of the paper list stuffed between them.)[Premonition: A crooked skeleton is lying on the ground in a child’s room, surrounded by fine ashen remains. In front of the skeleton is a white crib, where a toddler is holding onto the bars, screaming and crying. On the pink wall behind her are wooden cutouts of letters spelling the name “Emma.”]
[Cut back to the present. PHOEBE jerks out of her premonition and scrambles to smooth out the list she crumpled. PRUE moves in behind her.]PRUE: Who’d you see? PHOEBE: Emma. (She drags her finger down each column.) I need someone with the name Emma. (Her eyes shift back and forth across the page.)PRUE: I don’t see an Emma. Are you sure- (PHOEBE grabs the cordless phone and begins dialing.)PHOEBE: Whoever the victim was, was killed in a room with a baby named Emma…I’m guessing it was most likely the victim’s daughter. DARRYL's VOICE: Hello? PHOEBE: Darryl, it’s Phoebe. I need you to run a check on the descendants list you gave me and find out if any of them have a daughter, just a year or two old, named Emma. [Scene: Golden Gate Park. Playground. A blue glow reflects off the sand under the slide. LITTLE CHRIS pokes his head out to see other children, some older and some younger, playing on the equipment. He runs over to an empty swing and tries to climb on, but he’s too short.]BOY's VOICE: Need some help? (LITTLE CHRIS turns around to see DJ MORRIS smiling at him. LITTLE CHRIS nods. DJ struggles to help him onto the swing seat.)LITTLE CHRIS: Thanks! DJ: Wanna push? (LITTLE CHRIS nods. DJ walks behind LITTLE CHRIS and gently pushes his back. LITTLE CHRIS swings out his legs as he goes forward and then swings back and DJ pushes him again.)[Scene: Manor. Kitchen. PHOEBE is leaning over the counter with the cordless phone pressed to her ear. She’s hurriedly writing something on a notepad.]PHOEBE: Thanks, Darryl. (She hangs up and turns to PRUE.) I’ve got the address, where’s Paige? [Cut to the attic. MELINDA and LITTLE MELINDA are seated on the tattered sofa. LITTLE MELINDA has the Book of Shadows in her lap, eagerly flipping through the pages. MELINDA points.]MELINDA: Oh, that’s one we vanquish when you’re older. LITTLE MELINDA: He’s ugly. MELINDA: And he has purple jelly blood. LITTLE MELINDA: Gross! (CHRIS orbs in.)CHRIS: Did the plant work? PHOEBE's VOICE: Paige! MELINDA: I would say yes. (She gets up, leaving LITTLE MELINDA to look at the Book.)CHRIS: What about Mom and Dad? MELINDA: Trying to track your orbs. CHRIS: So, everything’s going right on schedule. MELINDA: So far… [Scene: Arizona. Phoenix. Flays’ house. Hallway. A blonde woman, DAHLIA FLAY, is running. She trips, but catches herself against the wall until she comes to the end of the hallway and runs through the door into a light pink room. She slams the door closed, locks it, and turns to see EMMA FLAY in the crib. She takes a step towards the crib when the door explodes and the blast causes DAHLIA to fall to the ground. LILLITH and VOLAC step inside the room.]DAHLIA: Please no. (She shakes her head.) She’s just a baby. I swear, I’ll do whatever you ask- LILLITH: Shut up. (DAHLIA starts crying and shaking her head.)DAHLIA: Torrance! Help! (Orbs descend from the ceiling, transforming into a whitelighter with long black hair. LILLITH lazily motions her arm before TORRANCE is has fully formed and sends her and her remaining orbs sailing through the open doorway.)[Cut to the hallway. PAIGE, PHOEBE, and PRUE are running down the hallway when TORRANCE comes barreling towards them. PHOEBE levitates over the whitelighter and PRUE throws up her hand, telekinetically bringing her to a halt before she can bowl over herself and PAIGE.]PRUE: Well, what d’ya know, Grams was right. (PRUE lowers TORRANCE to the ground as a scream sounds from EMMA’s room. PHOEBE drops to her feet and rushes inside with PAIGE and PRUE in step. Blue flames are dancing along DAHLIA’s clothes, easily eating through them and creating ashes around her as they go. EMMA starts screaming as PHOEBE tackles LILLITH to the floor. PAIGE heads for the crib as PRUE yanks off her leather jacket and throws it over DAHLIA to smother the flames. Electric blue flames rage in VOLAC’s black eyes. He twitches his little fingers and PAIGE is thrust into the wall. LILLITH and PHOEBE scramble with each other before LILLITH knees PHOEBE in the gut and throws her into the wall. With a swift telekinetic motion, slides across the floor and her head thumps into the doorframe.)LILLITH: I should’ve known the Charmed Ones would rear their pretty little heads at some point. (VOLAC stretches his other arm out towards PRUE, but LILLITH grabs him.) LILLITH: No! (VOLAC’s flaming eyes return to a serene blue. His hold on PAIGE falters and she slides to the floor, unharmed. VOLAC looks at LILLITH, obviously confused. PAIGE takes the distraction and jumps to EMMA's crib, grabbing the infant and orbing away. LILLITH points to PHOEBE.) LILLITH: Take her, I’ll deal with the other one. (VOLAC advances on PHOEBE, who’s slumped over on the floor, while LILLITH nears PRUE and DAHLIA. PRUE throws up her hand and a bolt of electricity crackles from her palm and hits LILLITH, knocking her into a changing table. As PRUE whips her head in PHOEBE's direction, she sees CHRIS and MELINDA orb in between them. CHRIS’s green eyes look cold. His hand sails out in front of him, sending a wave of telekinetic force into the demonic child. VOLAC trembles and loses his balance, but the force does not send him flying. CHRIS and MELINDA take hands, erecting their force field around PHOEBE.)MELINDA: Aunt Prue! (CHRIS makes a quick motion of his arm, pulling PRUE and DAHLIA towards him. They move through the force field and CHRIS orbs them away.)BREAK

Act Five
[Scene: Manor. Kitchen. PENNY is standing in front of two boiling pots at the island. She has her dark brown eyes locked on LITTLE CHRIS and LITTLE MELINDA, who are standing on either side of LEO, holding onto his hands.]LEO: Are you sure you feel comfortable watching them, Penny? PENNY: What’s not to feel comfortable about? It’s not like I haven’t raised magical children, Leo. LEO: Not one who could orb. PENNY: Trust me, we’ll be fine. (She smiles sweetly. LEO hesitantly lets go of LITTLE CHRIS's and LITTLE MELINDA’s hands. He shakes his finger at LITTLE CHRIS.)LEO: You had better behave for Grams. PENNY: He will. (LEO walks out. PENNY forms her signature peace sign and points it at the Twins. They each fly off their feet and into chairs from the kitchen table.) And I don’t want you to move from those chairs until I give you permission, is that clear? (LITTLE CHRIS and LITTLE MELINDA nod stiffly. She points dangerously at LITTLE CHRIS.) And you! If you decide to orb from that chair even once, I will hunt you down and bind your powers so good you won’t even have any in your next life! (She tosses a handful of juniper berries into her second growth potion and it sizzles.) Now…who wants to help Grams finish up these potions? (LITTLE MELINDA and LITTLE CHRIS look fearfully at each other.)[Cut to the living room. LEO is standing behind PHOEBE, healing her neck. DAHLIA is seated on the overstuffed chair with EMMA in her lap and PAIGE is seated next to PRUE and opposite them, PIPER and PHOEBE are sitting together. PHOEBE groans a little.]PHOEBE: I should’ve known Lillith was behind this. She’s behind everything! (She snorts.) Hell, she’s probably the reason for global warming too. PAIGE: And seriously, what is with her obsession with magical kids? First the Twins, then Sparky, and now Damien? This is getting ridiculous! (PRUE touches her stomach.)PRUE: What I don’t understand is why she still has an interest in my daughter if she has someone even more powerful under her tutelage now. LEO: It probably has something to do with whatever revenge she still plans on carrying out. DAHLIA: Maybe the demon child is just a pawn in the bigger picture? PIPER: Do you think this could be the un-destined event? (Everyone looks at PIPER.) The one that the Twins came back to prevent. (PAIGE folds her arms suspiciously.)PAIGE: It kinda makes sense to me. PHOEBE: Well, if it is, they didn’t do a very good job of stopping it. PAIGE: So, maybe our job is to just put Jack back in the box? PRUE: I guess there’s only one way to find out. (She looks up at the ceiling.) Chris! Melinda! Get down here! (PAIGE leans over to PHOEBE.)PAIGE: (whispering) She’s so already got the mom thing down. PHOEBE: (grumbling) Tell me about it. [Scene: Golden Gate Bridge. CHRIS and MELINDA are on opposite sides of the beam, watching the bay. CHRIS winces.]CHRIS: Prue’s calling. MELINDA: Figured it wouldn’t take long. CHRIS: At least we’ve got them sniffing the right trail. MELINDA: How much do you think we should say? CHRIS: You’re asking my opinion? MELINDA: Just for show. CHRIS: Thought so. (MELINDA smirks.) There’s not much we can tell them… MELINDA: Well, there’s really not much we can do anyway. At least not until… (She cups her hands and makes an opening and closing overlapping motion in front of her eyes, twice.)CHRIS: (sarcastically) Cute. (He winces again.) They’re getting louder. (He takes her hand.)[Scene: Manor. Living room. PIPER is the only sister standing now.]PIPER: (yelling) Christopher- (CHRIS and MELINDA orb in.)CHRIS: Mom! That’s like the tenth time you’ve used my full name today. I know it, I’m good, we’re here. PIPER: Well maybe I wouldn’t have to use it if you’d come the first time. (She sits down.)PAIGE: So, we need have to ask, if by locking Volac up, will this save the future? MELINDA: And by that do you mean will we be able to go home? LEO: Yes. CHRIS: Probably not. PRUE: Oh for god’s sake, then what is it? Why can’t you just tell us so we can take care of whatever it is now? MELINDA: It’s more complicated than that. CHRIS: And we’ve already been through this- (PENNY walks in, holding a silver handled pot in her hand.)PENNY: Good news, the potion’s done. (CHRIS and MELINDA turn around. PENNY’s eyes grow wide as she sees CHRIS. The pot slips from her grasp.) Gordon?! (MELINDA’s hand shoots out, freezing the potion pot before it can hit the floor.)PIPER: Gordon? (She squints.) Grams, this is Chris! All grown up! Your grandson. (LITTLE CHRIS and LITTLE MELINDA walk in. PENNY looks back at LITTLE CHRIS and then at her future grandson again. An astonished look passes through her eyes.)PENNY: Incredible. MELINDA: A huh. (She kneels in front of PENNY and takes the handle of the potion and picks it up, collecting the frozen drops that splattered at the pot was falling.) Well, we should probably move on with things, right? I’ll just go take this to the kitchen. (She snaps her fingers in LITTLE CHRIS and LITTLE MELINDA’s direction.) Come on. (The three of them disappear out of the room. TORRANCE and a young man with a goatee, SHAWN, orb in.)SHAWN: Leo, Georgia sent me to inform you that she’s got the preparations in place. (TORRANCE moves to DAHLIA’s side.)TORRANCE: Shawn and I are supposed to take you and Emma to a temporary safe house. It’s been magically cloaked and you’ll need to remain there until there until Volac has been neutralized. (She helps DAHLIA to her feet.)[Cut to the kitchen. MELINDA is busy pouring the hot potion into two cups. LITTLE CHRIS and LITTLE MELINDA are seated together at the table, leaning in close to each other.]LITTLE MELINDA: I think he sounds sad, what about you? (LITTLE CHRIS nods.) Maybe we should go play with him? LITTLE CHRIS: (fearfully) But what about Grams? She’ll take away my power! (LITTLE MELINDA presses her finger to her lips.)LITTLE MELINDA: Shh! (She looks over her shoulder at MELINDA, who is now rummaging through drawers looking for something.) I think Grams was being a liar liar pants on fire. (LITTLE CHRIS giggles.)LITTLE CHRIS: Hanging from a telephone wire. (LITTLE CHRIS nods.)LITTLE MELINDA: What if we go for just a little bits? He sounds really, really, really (emphasizing) really sad. (LITTLE CHRIS still looks hesitant.)LITTLE CHRIS: I dunno… LITTLE MELINDA: Well, if she gets real, real mad…we could always trap her in a bubble. (LITTLE CHRIS giggles.)LITTLE CHRIS: (relenting) Okay. (He takes his sister’s hand and they orb off.)MELINDA: Aha! (She turns around triumphantly, holding up one green and one yellow silly straws, only to realize that LITTLE MELINDA and LITTLE CHRIS are no longer there. Her face falls.) Chris? Mini Me? (She cups her hand and holds it to her ear, waiting for the Twins’ response. She scrunches up her face in an expression crossed between one of PHOEBE’s uh-oh looks and one of PAIGE’s uh-oh looks.) Uh oh… [Scene: Golden Gate Park. Playground. The playground is deserted, except for VOLAC, who is sitting silently on the swing. His eyes are black holes. They turn normal as a pint sized orb cloud forms next to him. LITTLE CHRIS and LITTLE MELINDA are giggling as they orb in.]LITTLE MELINDA: Hi! (She grins.) We gots your brain call. (She points to her head.) I’m Melinda. (She points to CHRIS.) And dat’s Chris. (LITTLE CHRIS waves.) Why you all alone? (LITTLE CHRIS toddles behind VOLAC.)LITTLE CHRIS: Wanna push? (He doesn’t wait for a response, he just pushes on VOLAC’s back, but isn’t strong enough to really move him. LITTLE MELINDA helps LITTLE CHRIS and together they push VOLAC forward.)VOLAC: My mommy says you’re being nosy. LITTLE MELINDA: Nosy? (She presses her index finger to her nose.) What’s that? VOLAC: Getting in the way. LITTLE CHRIS: Of what? VOLAC: Our plans. LITTLE MELINDA: For? (She steps to the side, watching VOLAC intently.) Who’s your mommy? (LITTLE CHRIS orbs onto the swing beside VOLAC and begins to pump his short legs. VOLAC doesn’t answer LITTLE MELINDA, he just stares stoically in front of him.) LITTLE MELINDA: Why is your mommy not here to plays with you? She don’t sound like a nice mommy to me. (She folds her arms.) Mommies should be with you when you is sad. (VOLAC seems to ponder the statement.)LITTLE CHRIS: Why you sad anyways? (He eyes LITTLE CHRIS.) Did your sister freez-ed you? (LITTLE MELINDA glares at him and raises her hands threateningly.)VOLAC: No. LITTLE MELINDA: Did your Grams want to take away all your power? VOLAC: No. LITTLE CHRIS: Did your daddy not want you to go play? (VOLAC backhands LITTLE CHRIS without warning, sending him sprawling into the sandbox. His eyes turn black. LITTLE MELINDA gasps and jumps back, raising her hands. For the briefest moment, VOLAC’s motion slows down and then he resumes his regular speed. LITTLE MELINDA screams and starts to run, but VOLAC motions his arm and she trips and falls. LITTLE CHRIS scampers up from the ground and orbs to LITTLE MELINDA’s side. They grab hands, but instead of a force field forming around them, a force field forms around VOLAC.)LITTLE MELINDA: I think Grams should take away his power. (LITTLE CHRIS rubs his face where VOLAC hit him.)LITTLE CHRIS: Yeah! (LITTLE CHRIS presses his hand to the force field with the intent to orb it out, but as LITTLE CHRIS and LITTLE MELINDA orb, also taking with them the force field, VOLAC blue flames out of it. He stretches out his arm, throwing a blue fireball at the orb cloud, knocking LITTLE MELINDA out of it. LITTLE MELINDA lands with a rough thud and yelps as LITTLE CHRIS’s orbs disappear. LILLITH blinks in behind VOLAC.)LILLITH: I guess one out of two isn’t bad. (She summons a fireball to her palm.) LITTLE MELINDA: (screaming) Chris! Daddy! Help! (She throws the fireball at LITTLE MELINDA, but it freezes. LILLITH yawns.)LILLITH: Volac, Son, would you like to finish the honor? (A funnel of white lighters tornados around VOLAC and he disappears. LILLITH grasps at the air as the last of the white lights vanish. She sneers.) A blood to blood spell! (She holds out her arm, telekinetically summoning LITTLE MELINDA to herself.) Well then, we’ll just have to make a trade, won’t we? [Scene: France. Alps. The Charmed Ones, PIPER, and GEORGIA are inside the cave where VOLAC had been entombed. PAIGE and PHOEBE are carrying flashlights. GEORGIA is chanting.]GEORGIA: “Blood to blood, I summon thee, Blood to blood, Return to me!” (VOLAC appears.)PIPER: (worriedly) They’re not with him! We’re the Twins? (GEORGIA grabs PIPER’s hand.)GEORGIA: (to PRUE) Get him into the sarcophagus! (PRUE motions her arm, but only succeeds in moving VOLAC about three inches.)PRUE: He’s too resistant! (PHOEBE and PAIGE grab PRUE's hands.)PHOEBE: Draw on the Power of Three! PAIGE: (nodding) The Power of Three. (PRUE raises her hands, interlocked with PHOEBE’s and PAIGE’s. This time she squints her eyes and VOLAC is thrown off his feet and lands in the sarcophagus. She narrows her eyes again and the heavy stone lid begins to move into place when LILLITH blinks in, holding LITTLE MELINDA threateningly, ready to kill her in a moment’s notice. PIPER gasps.)PIPER: Melinda! LILLITH: Give me back my child and I won’t kill yours. BREAK

Act Six
[Scene: France. Alps. Volac’s tomb. The Charmed Ones, PIPER, and GEORGIA are at a standoff with LILLITH, who is holding LITTLE MELINDA, ready to kill her.]LILLITH: (calmly) Open the sarcophagus. GEORGIA: Prue, the Greater Good. PIPER: Screw the Greater Good! That’s my daughter! LITTLE MELINDA: (whimpering) Mommy, help! PIPER: (screaming) Prue! (PRUE squeezes PAIGE’s and PHOEBE's hands and the lid on the sarcophagus slides off. VOLAC emerges. LILLITH literally throws LITTLE MELINDA at the Charmed Ones and grabs for VOLAC. PIPER drops to the ground to grab LITTLE MELINDA. PAIGE dissolves into a spray of orbs, heading straight for LILLITH. The orbs wrap around her like a snake, pick her up, and toss her to the ground. VOLAC climbs out of the sarcophagus and blue flames behind GEORGIA. He grabs her leg and digs his nails in and throws her to the ground with his mind. He begins to violently hit her, using his telekinesis to power up each strike.)VOLAC: I hate you! (He hits her again.) I wish you could die! (Blue flames engulf his fists as he hits her, causing severe burns that repair themselves. Suddenly, VOLAC shapeshifts into GEORGIA and they wrestle on the ground. PAIGE reappears next to PRUE, grabbing her hand. A cut is bleeding from PAIGE’s forehead.)PAIGE: How do we tell the real one? (LILLITH blinks across the cave. She’s laughing. GEORGIA #1 manages to throw GEORGIA #2 away from herself.)PIPER: Prue, use your powers on them. The one it doesn’t affect- PRUE: Right. (She lets go of PAIGE’s and PHOEBE’s hands and raises her own, sending two powerful waves of telekinetic energy at GEORGIA #1 and GEORGIA #2. GEORGIA #1 crashes into the wall while GEORGIA #2 only slides on the ground.) That’s the one! (She grabs PHOEBE’s and PAIGE’s hands.)GEORGIA #2: No, you’re wrong! He’s tricking you! (PRUE squints her eyes at GEORGIA #2. GEORGIA #2’s hand suddenly flies out and an invisible force sends the Charmed Ones sliding onto their butts, with their hands still interlocked. PRUE squints her eyes and GEORGIA #2 flies into the sarcophagus and the lid closes over her. The Charmed Ones, PIPER, and GEORGIA run up the steps to the sarcophagus and can hear pounding and screaming from the inside. PHOEBE produces a pocket knife and slices across her palm. She passes it to PRUE, who cuts her hand, then to PAIGE, PAIGE passes the knife to PIPER, and PIPER finally passes it to GEORGIA who slits her own hand. They each lay their bloodied palms to one of the points on the inverted onyx pentagram. They begin to twist the pentagram into an upright position.)PRUE, PIPER, PHOEBE, PAIGE, & GEORGIA: “Blood to blood, We seal thee, In silence you’ll rest, For eternity!” (The onyx pentagram is twisted into its upright position and glows a hot red as it absorbs the blood from the five witches. Then the onyx vanishes from beneath their hands, leaving only the pentagram shaped keyhole behind. PIPER hugs LITTLE MELINDA.)PIPER: Thank god! (LILLITH blinks in beside GEORGIA, laughing. She lays a hand on GEORGIA’s shoulder and GEORGIA shapeshifts into VOLAC.)LILLITH: Thanks for the help! (They disappear in a wall of blue flames.)[Time lapse. LITTLE CHRIS and LITTLE MELINDA are sitting on the couch in the living room at the Manor. PENNY walks in, holding the mugs of her reversal potion in each hand, complete with the green and yellow silly straws. She hands the mug with the yellow straw to LITTLE MELINDA and the mug with the green straw to LITTLE CHRIS. The Twins look at each other and then begin to suck on their straws.]
[Cut to the kitchen. PRUE, PIPER, PHOEBE, PAIGE, and LEO are gathered around the table with the Book of Shadows between them. Each of the sisters except PHOEBE wear somber looks on their faces. PHOEBE’s look is frantic as she turns the yellowed pages of the Book, not really looking at them, but turning them for the sake of turning them. LEO lays his hand on PHOEBE’s shoulder and she flinches.]LEO: Phoebe, there’s nothing you can do without the key. PHOEBE: And is that supposed to make me feel better? (She turns her head to him.) We just imprisoned an innocent witch for eternity! An innocent, Leo! We’re supposed to (emphasizing) protect the innocent! LEO: You were tricked. You were all tricked. PRUE: We should’ve been able to see through it. Georgia tried to tell us- PIPER: And then Volac made it appear as though Georgia had used his powers on you. She didn’t have telekinesis, Prue. Leo’s right, you only knew what you saw in that moment. PAIGE: Leo, how can we find the onyx and release her? LEO: I don’t know…Shawn said the onyx was designed to hide itself after being used to lock the sarcophagus. Lillith must have spent months looking for it…and The Elders believe she’s also responsible for a recent string of murders involving neutral visionaries, most likely used to help her pinpoint its location. (PHOEBE stands up, clutching her stomach.)PHOEBE: I feel sick. (PHOEBE passes PENNY as she leaves the room. PENNY is carrying BABY CHRIS and BABY MELINDA. PIPER moves to PENNY and takes BABY MELINDA from her, while LEO takes BABY CHRIS.)PIPER: Thanks, Grams. (She cuddles BABY MELINDA close to her.)PENNY: Where did Phoebe go? PRUE: She’s not feeling well. (She rises from the table.) Neither am I, actually. PENNY: We still have to perform the Ritual- PRUE: The Ritual kind of pales in comparison to everything else going on right now, doesn’t it? PENNY: (challengingly) What else is going on right now, Prudence? (She motions her hand around the room.) You’re all moping around, but you can’t change anything that’s happened. Do you really thinking feeling sorry for yourself is better for the baby than performing a long standing magical tradition? (Her eyes lock with PRUE's.) Think about what’s best for her, Prudence. (PRUE closes her eyes and moves passed PENNY.)PRUE: Just get it over with then. (PIPER, PAIGE, and LEO stare at PENNY as she moves to the refrigerator and pulls out her second batch of her growth potion.)[Cut to Phoebe’s room. PHOEBE drops to her bed and curls up in a fetal position. Her cell phone rings, but she doesn’t even look at it.]
[Scene: The Bay Mirror. Elise’s office. ELISE ROTHMAN is sitting at her desk with her phone pressed to her ear. In front of her is a printout of PHOEBE’s mock column.]ELISE: Ms. Halliwell, this is Elise Rothman. I’m calling to tell you that I’ve finished reviewing your mock column and I’m pleased with your work. I’d like to have your first column published by this Friday, so I would like to hear from you as soon as possible. [Scene: Buddy’s. The bells above the door ring as MELINDA walks in. The restaurant is crowded, but she notices VICTOR sitting alone in a booth at the end. She walks over to him and slides in across from him, smirking.]MELINDA: God, Grandpa, you’re so predictable. VICTOR: Mel. (He looks behind him.) What are you doing here? MELINDA: I just wanted to let you know that Grams got Mini Chris and I back to normal. (She leans forward, pressing her elbows to the table and propping her chin in her hands.)VICTOR: That’s good. (He nods.) I’m glad…and again, I’m- MELINDA: Don’t apologize. It’s a mistake anybody could’ve made. Grams just likes to take it out on you because you don’t have powers. (She rolls her eyes.) And believe you me, compared to things she’s done, this was (she stretches her hands out to emphasize her point) nothing. [Scene: Golden Gate Bridge. CHRIS is watching the cars from the edge. He’s so close it looks like a gust of wind could easily push him over.]LEO's VOICE: Need some company? (CHRIS turns to see his father a few steps away, holding BABY CHRIS. CHRIS merely shrugs and returns to watching the dot-like cars.) Do you come here a lot? CHRIS: It’s an escape. (LEO nods.)LEO: It’s a good place to think. Quiet, peaceful. Not quite heaven and not quite… (He looks over the edge.)CHRIS: Hell. LEO: Yeah. (pause) I’ve been coming here for a long time…ever since I- CHRIS: First got the ability to orb. I know. (He turns slightly, nodding to BABY CHRIS.) You were the one who first brought me here. LEO: So, we come here a lot then? You and Future Me? CHRIS: Enough for you to tell me that story…a couple hundred times. (LEO chuckles. BABY CHRIS coos and waves his arms.)LEO: (softly) You don’t want to talk about anything, do you? CHRIS: What’s there to talk about? LEO: You seem troubled. CHRIS: Considering what I’m here for, is that any surprise? LEO: No…but it doesn’t stop me from being concerned. CHRIS: Is that the whitelighter speaking? LEO: No, this is your father speaking. (CHRIS doesn’t respond. LEO places a hand on his shoulder.) I know you don’t want to say anything that might have consequences, but if you ever change your mind, or just need to talk in general, I’m always here for you. [Scene: Manor. Attic. PRUE walks in. Five gold candles have been placed in a circle. From the amount of melted wax, they appear to have been burning for a while. She sniffs the air and locks onto the miniature table where almond, mint, and bergamot incense are burning. PRUE focuses in on the candles. The flames reflect in her blue eyes. PENNY enters, carrying the growth potion in one hand and the Book of Shadows under her opposite arm. She places the Book on its pedestal and moves to the Wicca chest, opening it and retrieving a slightly tarnished silver goblet. She pours the potion into the goblet and hands it to PRUE as PAIGE and PIPER, with BABY MELINDA, enter.]PENNY: Step into the circle. (PRUE does as instructed. She looks at the milky liquid in the goblet and swirls it.)PENNY:“I summon forth through space and time, The Mother of the Warren line.” (A lone golden sphere descends from the ceiling, spirally into the form of a corporeal MELINDA WARREN, standing within the circle of candles with PRUE. She wraps her hands around PRUE’s, which are wrapped around the goblet, and eases PRUE into lifting the goblet to her lips. PRUE shuts her eyes and begins to drink the potion. MELINDA WARREN lifts the bottom of PRUE’s white top, revealing her growing stomach. PENNY dips her hand into her pocket and retrieves a small green vial. She hands it to MELINDA WARREN, who opens the vial and pulls out a dropper covered in yellow oil. The scent of peony and honeysuckle oil mingles with the burning incense. MELINDA WARREN squeezes several drops of the oil onto her finger and turns to PRUE’s stomach. She presses her finger to PRUE’s belly and begins to trace the outline of the triquetra with the oil around PRUE’s belly button. She dabs another drop of oil onto her finger, after finishing the three archs, and traces the interlocking circle around them, but as her finger comes back to the beginning of the circle, her eyes close and her breath hitches. PENNY looks a little concerned, but MELINDA WARREN’s reaction passes just before PRUE finishes consuming the potion and brings the goblet down from her face.)MELINDA WARREN: “I bless this child to make thee strong, I bless this child to make thee live long, I pledge this child the Warren Oath, May her future be blessed with Growth.” PENNY: Blessed be. (MELINDA WARREN brushes her hand across the side of PRUE’s cheek.)MELINDA WARREN: Blessed be. (MELINDA WARREN disappears into the same sphere of gold she came in and ascends back to the afterlife. PENNY is also swept away in a spiral of white lights. PRUE looks down at her belly. She lays her hand over the oil traced triquetra and keeps it there for a moment before moving it away, inadvertently smearing oil and destroying the outline.)
