[Fade into a montage of scenes from season five leading up to COLE being hit with THE QUEEN’s fireball and turning into fluttering ashes before PHOEBE’s eyes.]
VOICE OVER: Last season, the ultimate sacrifice was made to save a soul mate. This season, the one left behind will struggle to cope with reality…
[Scene: Manor. Prue’s bedroom. PRUE and PIPER are seated on PRUE’s bed.]
PIPER: Is Pheebs home?
(PRUE sadly shakes her head.)
PRUE: No, she left early this morning…probably to go back to the mausoleum.
(PIPER presses her hand to her forehead.)
PIPER: It’s been over two months.
PRUE: No offense, Piper, but you have Leo, so I don’t think you understand. Two months means nothing to someone who lost the love of their life.
[Scene: PHOEBE is standing in long tunnel in the Underworld. A breeze blows down the tunnel, causing the torches lining the walls to flicker. She starts to chase after the breeze.]
PHOEBE: Cole, please! I’m coming! Wait for me! (Her face begins to flush as she runs. She nears the end of the tunnel and comes to a fork. She looks back and forth between the two passages. Her eyes tear up.) Cole!
VOICE OVER: But when her family needs her most, will she be there…
[Scene: Manor. Sunroom. Three piles of ashes are on the floor along with LEO’s body with a darklighter arrow protruding from his heart. The TWINS are in their portable playpen with their force field erected, protecting them from THE QUEEN who stands before it.]
THE QUEEN: All good magic has to fall sometime!
(THE QUEEN produces a small vial from her dress and uncorks it, pouring it over the force field. A black liquid trickles down it and soaks into the blue shield, turning the shield a dark gray color. She then holds her hands over her head and produces a fireball of epic proportions and throws it at the force field. The gray shield flickers and crackles before exploding with an ear popping bang, leaving MELINDA and CHRIS open to attack. THE QUEEN begins to cackle manically as she summons two fireballs to her hands and aims them at the TWINS.)
VOICE OVER: …or will something else stand in her way?
[Scene: Drake’s penthouse. Living room. PAIGE and DRAKE are there.]
PAIGE: How much do you know about alchemists?
DRAKE: Phoebe hasn’t tried contacting an alchemist to bring Cole back…has she?
