To keep the hive of activity going, I thought I'd spring up a new thread. What Made You Choose Your Username? This is particularly aimed at NubianWitch and my CRR counterpart, Xenith. As their names interested me most. As for me. I came about when I was looking for a new display name and even though I started life on CRR as Forever Yours, Astral Echo is more fitting for both me and for the show it self. Discuss.  |

Drama? Eh, for the drama? I honestly don't even remember why.
As for my Cafe name: Assassin Witch. I mean, obviously I don't need to explain myself.
My LJ name is artemisphoenix. Artemis for the Goddess of the Moon (I'm a cancer) and again, Phoenix is obvious.
My Gossip Girl/FanForum username is Kiss of Death. I'm not fully sure why I used it. It was around Sept. 2007. I just like that phrase.

Good question and great answers!
I chose mine because even tho my name on most sites is Esmeralda Wyatt, most people call me just Es.
Esmeralda comes from when my brothers and sisters and I used to play a game where we pretended we were witches (except the two youngest who were both our black cats) and I chose Esmeralda because it sounded "witchy". Also Samantha had an Aunt Esmeralda on Bewitched (played by Alice Ghostley) and she reminded me of me.
The Wyatt comes from the fact that so many members of the Cafe gave themselves a last name of Halliwell. So did I at first, but then during S6-8 when I saw how horribly the sisters were changing, I decided I didn't want to be a Halliwell, and if Piper didn't want to take Leo's last name even tho Grams had taken *her* husband's last name, I would!
ETA: Thinking about it, I've decided after what Chris and Piper did to Leo, I truly don't want to be a Wyatt anymore. So now at the Cafe (and TCS) I'm known as Esmeralda Zankou - be Zankou's daughter who can get rid of the next generation as long as unlike their mothers, they don't cheat.

Well this is a great thread! I think i will post mine.
I watched the cartoon "Avatar the Last Airbender" and the main character is 12 but really 112. So that explains Avatar112.

Astral Echo came about more or else because at the time my favourite character was Prue (having always switched between her and Pheebs) so I chose astral, the echo came about as I actually saw a "power" named Astral Echo on the old The Prophecy of Charmed (TPoC) site and forum. I liked it and was always in the back of my mind since. I also have it in mind to use during S7.

It closed a few years ago now, I used to be a Global Moderator there back in 2006\7, I think it closed in about 2008. It was a great forum and I do really miss it. A big roleplay crowd there too, which I loved being a part of.

Right now, from what I can tell, Blessed is the most active Charmed RP site, even if it also includes other shows. I like following the story, even if I'm not an actual member. Although I prefer reading VSs like this one, it's fun to follow one character throughout an RP. I stick with Melinda. |

I never was a big fan of whole board roleplays, I much preferred the one thread styles like what used to run over at the Cafe. I tried to start some here but they never really took off as the roleplay forum proves. But hey, maybe one day someone might want to roleplay with me. |

I don't remember. I think at the time I was re-watching some of the earlier seasons, so it was probably inspired by one episode or another. Recently, I've been thinking about changing it. I just don't know if I can be bothered. Seems like so much hassle.  |
