One of my nicknames is Lexi so I use that when I'm on boards. I just rather not have my full name everywhere for security reasons. The full name I use at boards is LexiCharmed just because I'm usually on Charmed forums.
As for Blessed, I PM'd the forum creator about people not being able to registered so as soon as I find out why, I'll let you know. If you know any specifics on why it won't let you registered - does it say anything when you try? - it might help with Rachel trying to figure out why.

Just an update for those trying to register at Blessed. I've spoke to Rachel but she isn't quite sure what is going on. She did offer to create accounts but that could be a problem if you still struggle to get in so she is going to speak to Proboards support since it seems to be something to do with that  |

That's the problem I've run into. Curiosity, are you American? I know someone who's not who tried to get in and got in right away. I wonder if their site doesn't translate American fonts properly...
What she should do is set up an email address just for people wanting entrance with their information that she can post at the site. She can just set up some generic code for the password and then the newbie can change it to their own. I know a different, non-proBoards site that ran into that problem and fixed it that way.

Hey guys, The problem at Blessed should now be fixed. The proboards support fixed the problem. There has been a new member that was having the same problem so hopefully it is fixed for everyone Hope to see you there soon. |

In the summer of '69' a young hansome Marine came marching home from the battle fields of Viet Nam. He perused me, I rejected him. One day he got my stranded kitten out of a tree, no I am not putting you on. I then looked at him differently.
We started dating and one day he called me Wendy. I went to school with a Wendy that I didn't like so I questioned this. He told me that I was his good witch and he took the name from Wendy and Casper the friendly ghost. I thought that was sweet but I am not a Wendy.
I suggested Samantha from Bewitched, and he looked at me as if I had just given him a gift. Perfect, he said...that is who you are. Through time and space we have traveled in different directions, but he was an honorable man and I therefore honor him back.

Completely loved your story, Samantha! And thinking of Sam on Bewitched, it definitely fits! Hats off to that Marine so long ago!

Thank you...It is not a story I share often, but is a bitter sweet memory that Charmed helped me to remember. I delighted in the fact that the show had a Sam...Bat, as he was called, would have loved that..

And Charmed did even reference Bewitched if I remember correctly. I always liked your former username as Ghost Rider but Samantha almost seems more fitting. |

Thank you...that is special to me. He was a member of the USMC. Crazy but honorable, and more crazy when he returned. He and two friends rented a house in Westfield NJ when he got back. Most of them managed to bring (Their Rifle) home with them one way or another...totally illegal. One night he thought the VC was coming through a down stairs window and started firing. Nobody died...but we could have been (Film at 11). I will take that with me for the rest of my life.  |
