Considering the tone of the show, (If Drea goes) you could make Barbas taunt them.
Prue: Barbas would haunt her with her daughter's ghost.
Piper: After "killing" her niece Barbas can make her believe she has to kill her children now.
Phoebe: After pushing Jason away, Barbas makes her think she will die alone.
Paige: Barbas makes her think Glenn will never come back. (Please don't let him come back)

I miss it too Truth is our lead writer Fourever_Charmed seemingly disappeared off the face of the planet after the S6 finale. And when we went to start back up again we hit a bit of a wall with the S6 cliffhanger. Because we know what we wanted the end result to be for the start of S7, but FC was the one that came up with the cliffhanger and brilliant as it was she did not discuss with the rest of us how she planned to get from point A to the point B we knew we wanted for the season. And so things kind of stalled out in writing the first two episodes. Throw in the fact that our founder Astral_Echo and editor Drama were also going to college and dealing with personal issues and I was working ridiculous hours and had some personal crap as well....and that brought things to a screeching halt. It's a shame because we had some really big plans to go on for as many as 2-3 additional seasons before FC vanished. Can CRR recover to go on? I honestly don't think we know the answer to that. I believe the interest is still there for the three remaining staff (AE the founder of CRR still visits practically daily.) but given how little day to day writing we did before it would be a serious challenge to get things going again...and where is there left to actually recruit a talented writer to join us who still has a devotion to a show that ended 8 years ago? (That is an actual question not just a pondering...) Dan, I apologize if I'm stepping out of place discussing all this crap out in public...

No, Xenith, you're on the money. We've hit a wall and while I still believe we all want to see the show reach it's natural end, it's difficult to picture that happening at the moment.
I've had a lot of upheaval in my life recently and that's kind of blocked my motivation to crack on and finish this. I'm also not a natural writer, I've always been more of an ideas man, so it's been tough trying to get those things down on paper.

I also appreciated the update, and I definitely understand the difficulty. Since like AE, I'm also much more of an idea person than a writer, I know how difficult it is to work on stuff like this when you don't have a great writer like 4Ever was. A number of my projects remain unfinished because my co-author (and the actual writer...) would go on to other ones.
I truly hope that you can find another one who can finish this for you.

I think its okay for you guys to take time off. Take as long as you want. But thank you so much for updating us on what is going on, I appreciate it. So maybe once in a while you could give us an update, Thanks.

Thanks for the update, guys. We all appreciate it. When you mentioned needing new writers, my mind jumped to Es, but she doesn't seem like she'd be into the idea. I'd say the best shot on getting C:RR up and rolling again would be to "hire" a team of writers (say three people). If you are unsure as where to look, I'd suggest having a look around FF.Net* -- particularly the Charmed section -- your bound to find some talented writers there who would gladly be part of the team. That said, if you guys want to get C:RR going again you'd need to get started very soon, because while the comics have ignited peoples interests in Charmed again, it's not going to be much longer before that interest burns out. * Speaking of FF.Net, Fourever is still active there. It might be a good idea to contact her via that site and find out how she had intended to get from Point A to Point B.

I'll reiterate what everyone else has said: thank you for the update. It's great to know what's going on so we readers aren't constantly wondering whether this has come to a dead-end and start to move on. It's why I constantly give updates to inform people I'm still working on something even if it is really slow.
I find I'm the opposite of Dan and Es. I'll have the basic idea but won't be able to get many of the intermediate ideas, so I've always been better as a writer.
Good luck with everything and I do hope you find someone who will be able to help you kick start everything again. Like Astral Chaos said, maybe you could contact Fourever at ff.net to find out how she planned to get from the finale to the next season premier.

Thanks for the update, guys. We all appreciate it. When you mentioned needing new writers, my mind jumped to Es, but she doesn't seem like she'd be into the idea. Thanks, AC; I truly appreciate that you thought of me, especially when I was an original member of C:RR's staff (I was the one wo came up with the idea of Drea), but like I said in my post, I'm really much more of an idea person than a writer and C:RR is doing just fine for those without me. There's also the fact that I don't agree with a lot of their ideas and I wouldn't want to work on the series unless those were changed. So if I became one of the chief writer, I think the show would become even more inconsistent than when Charmed went from having Connie Burge as executive producer to when Brad Kern did, and I definitely do not want to be the Brad Kern of this series! I think that's a great idea. I know there are some great writers over there, although I'm not sure how many of them are still around and would have time to work on it. I especially like the idea of a team of writers rather than just one, so that more than one episode can be written at the same time. ETA: Been thinking about this. When checking out writers at fanfiction.net or other places, look for one who either write one-shots or relatively short chapters. Ones who have longer ones usually go into more detail and that in turn takes more time. The one-shot writers are much more likely to be able to actually finish episodes, like 4Ever did. Amen. Especially now that most newer fans are getting used to Charmed as set up in the comics, not the way it's set up here, so it would be harder for them to accept.

Thanks for the update. I check back every so often to see if anything got updated. I miss this series so much, but I really appreciate all that you have done so far. By far it is the best fanmade series and/or fanfic for Charmed. You really put so much into C:RR, and I thank you guys for that. It was fun to read what you all came up with.
I hope to see more of it in the future. I'll keep checking back every so often to see if there are any updates.

So I was thinking about what will happen in season seven if Drea leaves. If she leaves... ... please leave Glenn out of CRR, that was one thing Kern did good in his series. ... make Jason get the hell off this show, please write this horrible wrong (its what you do best) I'm glad I'm not the only one who couldn't stand Jason and Glenn. I never liked Jason but if you're gonna make him to end up with Phoebe, I do hope you do a better job than in the show. I'd be much better if Cole came back, but I understand that you guys needed him to die in order for Phoebe's character to develop. I hope you do a better job with Jason's character if he isn't leaving. I always saw Jason/Phoebe relationship as nothing but lust in the show lol. I hope the Avatars won't be in the next season. And Piper should get her powers back somehow.

Hey all! I've started my third re-read of C:RR and am finding myself enjoying and appreciating it so much more because of the hiatus. (I'll never admit it's gone forever ) I just decided that I'd post a little comment to check in with how everything/everyone is doing. I really don't want to step anyone's toes and/or seem persistent in asking for a little update about Season 7 if it's at all possible. If not, I COMPLETELY understand and will just continue to quietly re-read the episodes. Thanks guys!

I don't know why you couldn't continue it. Have the founders take Drea away until the Charmed Ones can prove they can change the future. Also they agree to hold out on Lilith's trial to see if they can vanquish her. All the souls but Patty's are sent off for reincarnation. Also Chris and Bianca are still together because it was destined for them to meet with a bad future or not. You have one ep cover Bane and his involvement with the organization. One with Avia and her gypsy clan. Then have Prue die against Lilith and Volac to have her sisters become more determined to save her child. One where Paige sees if she loves Drake or Glen. Phoebe if she loves Jason or Coop. Then the rest of the eps could focus on them trying to vanquish Lilith with Chris and Melinda's potion. While showing some scenes of the future.
