It’s great to hear that the project isn’t completely dead! This Charmed is my canon Charmed honestly. I feel that this year or the next would be the perfect time to renew interest in this project because of the Reboot show. I’ve tried contacting Fourever Charmed on her tumblr account ‘Mewiet’ because that’s where she’s most active these days, but no reply yet. I hope her return could revive this whole forum and start some new seasons. I miss it here!

Its 2020 and I for one would LOVE to see how this ends. Especially since you guys left it on a cliff hanger LIKE THAT I agree. Hope it will come back. Even of it's just for 1 more season. |

The following is my personal opinion. Remember, I'm a Johnny-come-lately here, and may not have all the facts.
Unfortunately, it seems very unlikely now that C:RR will resume. More than ten years have passed. People have moved on, due to Real Life and such. Dan is still here, of course, and Jackie popped in last summer. Don't know about the others though.
However, the gist of it is that their main writer was a lady called Camille. However, back around 2010, she disappeared from this site, for reasons known only to her. They did try to continue, but couldn't without her.
Sucks that they ended on a cliffhanger, I hate that myself (I've had many a show I like cancelled without a resolution to a cliff hanger). However, it was out of their control.

It was purely that transition from Season 6 to Season 7. We have come up with some ideas between ourselves of how to get us out of it but none we've been fully happy with.
Like I'd never say never but with our lives moving on since we last worked on this ten years ago, I think it's unlikely.

It's like a favourite show that gets cancelled without resolving a cliff hanger (there was an episode of Big Bang Theory where Sheldon got all in a huff over such a cancellation).
It sucks, but there is nothing we can do about it.

I am currently rereading, alongside my rewatch of Seasons 1-3, so you never know. Maybe I'll get struck by a creative miracle! But then having read the first half of Season 4, they're certainly things I'd change. Not necessarily any major plot points but just tidying up some of the writing and more importantly making the episodes themselves longer. I'd never really noticed it before but as scripts they actually run about half the length I think they should.
So actually, if anything, I'd probably go back to the start again. Which...isn't ideal.

I'd be down for a reboot actually. Don't get me wrong, I love this one, but since it's practically dead,I wouldn't mind a reboot. Who knows, I might throw in some ideas too.

As I said before, it's unlikely to be honest. I might play around with it a little but I'm also working on other stuff. And I don't think I'd fully call it a reboot either. I might change a few ideas I really don't like and flesh out the actual writing but I don't think I'd make any wholesale changes to the existing three seasons.

I have this old script in my files, The Return Of Rex and Hannah. It was an alternate S5 premier that I wrote way back in 2002.
Since I joined this board, I've been toying with the idea of tweaking it up to be a C:RR story. I would place it sometime in a hypothetical Season Seven (since the real one never happened). Of course, I would leave the S6 cliff hanger alone, and just assume that everything was sorted out (as it would have been, had S7 happened).
Of course, I'd have to brush up on few things about C:RR. I know that Piper and Leo have two kids, Chris and Melinda, in this reality. Paige is childless and Prue has Andrea. However, I need to know how old these kids would be had S7 happened, where everyone is now living (and who with), who is alive and who isn't, and what jobs they now have.
