Truth be told Fourever Charmed wrote much of the S6 finale on her own without much input from the rest of us unlike the previous seasons. What she was wrote was absolutely amazing and she most definitely knew where we wanted to go in S7 and so likely had a way in mind of getting there...but she was dealing with some very personal bad crap at the time and so never got the chance to share...and then simply disappeared with us unable to contact her in any way.
Anyways...really the main thing that killed CRR though was Fourever Charmed disappearing. While all 4 of us were responsible for planning happening she was the one who took those ideas and converted them into the brilliant scenes and dialogues that you read. Her sudden disappearance left us with a big void as the remaining 3 were in addition to being busy a little rusty in the writing department having relied on FC for the past 2 1/2 seasons to carry the main writing weight. So basically our first course of action was just to delay and try to wait her out attempting to make contact but just coming back empty. So by the time we decided to try to move on without her in I believe it was late 2009 it was extremely difficult to find a comparably quality Charmed writer or two to bring in to take on the workload of a full season project like CRR. By that time most either had their own dedicated projects or had sadly moved on from Charmed. Feelers were put out by our staff but unfortunately we came back without a response. We just sadly could not manage to continue on our own and so CRR was left in this void with our plans for the remaining season seeming forever stranded on the table.
Part of me still really wants to believe that other will randomly show up one of these days and we will miraculously start things up again. It's why I have not wanted to really talk specifics of our plans to this point. Yes I know how stupid that sounds as who knows if any of them are even still interested in it in the least? So yeah I guess if no one has shown up by the end quarter of next year I may do the unthinkable and just open up our private areas and let it all out as a way to say a final goodbye to the series.

Ever since I've started rereading C:RR again I just think about how much more it could've gone on as you and the rest of the team have said (with the possibility of even going to s8) and it makes me kind of sad. I probably sound immature or desperate but it does. And I don't fault any of you & the team for this, life just loves to rear its butt-ugly head at terrible times and I understand that it got in the way along with Fourever's disappearance. The storylines for Season 7 so far sound really excellent and promising and definitely could've proved to be the best season yet and its unfortunate that it may not come to pass, however I along with you visit this site often (about once a day I may be a little obsessed with it recently) in hopes of its rise from the ashes. I shall again say a mighty thanks for the sorta-update. Its always nice to hear from you three [Drama & Astral Echo (four if FC returns)]

Ihate to see it end as well. Ive printed off all the stories and read it dozens of times. I loved seeing charmed done the right way. I might write for u guys if u want if u guys could help from time to time and look over every story before posting. Also there might be a few changes to your original planes to make a complete story. Anything to save it. But if not then please let us know what u had plan.

Thanks, everyone for your continued love and support.
Xenith summed up everything pretty well.
FC was our writer, and we relied very heavily on her. So the cliffhanger and how to come back from it is why we're stuck. She had great ideas about the cliffy and beginning of S7, but it sadly cannot be recreated at this point in time.
I do love CRR. It is a blast brainstorming, editing, and writing. And helps get a lot of the anger and frustration that our beloved show gave us.

Will the dreadful Glenn come back? Can Phoebe get over Cole and be with Jason? Will Andy's, Melinda Warren's, Patty's, and Grams' spirits be recycled? Shall more children arrive? YAY! Glad to hear that you will be back! I agree with all of Avatar's questions - they're great - especially the one about Glenn! I SO hope we've seen the last of him! Will the kids FINALLY go back to the future where they belong and let the CHARMED ONES fix their own present rather than screwing up this timeline and setting up an everlasting loop like S6 Chris did? Will Prue turn her back on the very dull, boring Mitch (who was anything but on the show...hopefully we'll find out that Jason is more like he was on the show), or will he hopefully die trying to save her, and will she finally find someone who is her match like Andy, since I'm not expecting Andy to be allowed to stick around? Or will Prue kill herself from unrequited love, forcing Piper to become a member of the Power of Three? (yeah, right - I don't think so, but it's fun to speculate) Or better? Will Paige die and become whitelighter to the next generation, letting Piper get her own powers back and returning the Power of Three to the originals? When Andy, Grams, Patty and Melinda Warren are all recycled, will we find out that Grams, Patty and Melinda Warren are the new Power of Three in the future (Phoebe and Jason's daughters, perhaps?) with Andy as Darryl's younger son and a police officer again who's helping them out? Will this set up the spin-off with *them* being the ones who finally kick Lilith and Volac and Drea's asses with the help of the Twice Blessed Children? (again, I doubt it, but, oh, would it be fun!) For ONCE will a Halliwell actually be evil and be vanquished? And will the Charmed Ones have to vanquish her? (I SO hope so!) So I was thinking about what will happen in season seven if Drea leaves. If she leaves... ... please leave Glenn out of CRR, that was one thing Kern did good in his series. ... Mitch deserves a chance with Prue and if he goes let him go with a good send-off and do not let him make the descision let Prue have to sadly tell him to go. ... Paige needs a new job, her other one is really boring to me. ... I'd love to see Barbas make a return as well. Just had to push these forward...until I hear otherwise, it's how I'm imaginging Season Seven continuing.... How 'bout the rest of you (not the admins/mods who know what was planned, but regular members)....if you could continue C:RR, what would happen?

I'm not sure I'm the greatest with the storytelling, so I'll leave that to the other members but would thoroughly enjoy reading other's ides. What I'd love I to hear is the rest of the plans for S7 as well but I understand you're waiting for AE to show up and give the OK and whatnot.

X and Jackie summed out our jam and unfortunately it's difficult to see the series continuing without Camille, particularly without how she envisaged getting us out of this cliffhanger. Despite our best efforts, we've not been able to reconnect with her for a number of years.
But I am certainly humbled by your kind words. CRR has always meant a great deal to me and it certainly got me through some difficult times so if there is anyway to move it forward and end it the way we wanted, I'm all for it!

Well, me itching for discussion and all I thought I might expand on some of my thoughts from a couple years ago because they've somewhat changed.
The Glenn Thing
I've learned to tolerate him after re-reading the series a couple times but I prefer Drake much more over Glenn. Drake just brings out Paige's fire and passion that Glenn doesn't bring out in Paige. However, I don't see Paige having a long term relationship with either of these men as the show has already shown with Glenn's major free-spirit and Drake's womanizing tendencies. Also, another witch/demon relationship is a tad unrealistic. Paige should get her own heart-breaking storylines as the others have received over the years, just putting that out there. But Prake is a relationship I'd enjoy just not long-term. Anyways, I'd better move on before this gets too much about Drake haha!
Paige's Job
I've actually learned to love her Social Working job as it relates a helluva lot to her whitelighter side and her duty to protect the innocent. But as shown in the Season 6 finale alternate reality, she was being herself and traveling the world so obviously she'll want a break at some point. However sticking with her family would be more interesting to me then going around the world in 80 orbs.
Barbas
This thread has already shown me speak my thoughts on a Barbas reappearance, so I'll simply ditto myself. Ditto!

Now I know that I'm still hoping that FC returns (I have high hopes for a lot of hiatus'd virtual series actually. Maybe I have a problem lettin' stuff go.... I should get that checked out ) but are any of you, the staff, expecting for her to come back or get back to you on S7?

Again since you did not respond to me in the chatbox last week....are you a writer? What we lost and would need if CRR were to ever consider returning is a primary episode writer someone who can facilitate turning simple ideas into fully fleshed out scenes with natural true to character dialogue on a weekly basis. If you are a writer then can you PM or post a sample of your best work, preferably something in script format if you have it preferably, but prose would still be acceptable to start with if that is all you have done to this point.

Before continuing with CRR, I'd need to reread the entire series, and right now, with graduate school, I don't have the time. Maybe more in the summer (Mayish), I'll take a look and see what we can do. But I'm an editor. So the writing is still up in the air. As is the cliffhanger. (Which I need to reread because it's been years.)
As for the Paige / PG thing... personally, aside from him being my favorite for him, I don't really see Paige as a settling type. It seems SUPER unrealistic to me in the finale that she had not only one child, but THREE. Girl is meant to be a social worker and take care of children and help them. She doesn't need her own to do that. I don't see that in her future. I have a thing for best friends. And maybe they travel every once in a while. Maybe they hook up when he's around. Maybe they foster a child for a few months for whatever reason. But she doesn't strike me as someone into the marriage thing like Piper and Prue.
And Paige/Drake is HOT. She's YOUNG. she's allowed to have fun. Girl definitely doesn't need to be settling any time soon.
{Just a personal thing; don't take it as a CRR thing.}

If Glenn is only going to be a friend, that would be perfect for her, as long as we only see him once or twice a season. FC just wrote him SO boring! No way I could see Paige interested in him, not even as a friend. (Ditto for Mitch - I can't see Prue interested in him!) And we know she can write interesting guys - she proved it with Andy and Cole and Chris and Leo. Now if your next writer could make them interesting while still keeping them the same person (the reason why there's no way I could be a writer for this series - my versions of some of these characters - particularly Paige, Glenn, Mitch, Chris, Bianca and Melinda - wouldn't fit in with hers) that would be a different story.
Now on the show, I can see why some fans might think that Glenn would be perfect for Paige and he would've been if she was written the way you've described her - but that's not Kern's Paige. For her, she'd want that husband and three children (just like how Kern wrote all three sisters...), so Henry was perfect for her. I could never see Glenn settling down and I could never see Paige wanting to travel with him once she knew about her powers - especially once Kern decided to saddle her with charges. They would've been as bad for each other as Kern's Piper was for Kern's Leo or Kern's Phoebe was for Kern's Cole or Kern's Leo was for Kern's Piper or Kern's Cole was for Kern's Phoebe, which definitely isn't the case for FC's Piper and Leo or Phoebe and Cole. FC's Paige and Glenn or Prue and Mitch, those are totally different stories.
Me, I still love the idea of the half-demon and the half-angel much more than Kern ever did, thinking that had they made Paige the Only Child she truly was rather than the Baby she never was, she could've used her social service skills to help Cole when Phoebe turned her back on him and Cole would've realized he'd fallen for the wrong sister...but then they tried to make Paige both Phoebs the Baby from the early seasons and at the same time squeeze her into doing what Prue the Oldest would've done had Shannen Doherty not been fired. No wonder Paige was so screwed up that to try to write her so she seems like the one on the show is near impossible. Whenever I read these scripts, I can see Prue as Prue and Piper as Piper and Phoebe as Phoebe and Andy as Andy and Leo as Leo and Cole as Cole but never Paige as Paige outside of driving her VW bug. Of course you can get away with doing that in a virtual series since you introduce her as a new character in your series premiere. And she's a much better character than Kern's Paige.

I'll never say never cause I'd like to wrap things up one day but it would be quite a big undertaking considering it's now been years since I've even read the scripts let alone penned a new one. But I'd never want to close the door forever.
