In its current form, it's a very easy read. I usually get through a few episodes an hour. They tend to run at around 25 pages in a Word document and the format lends itself really well to skim reading.

So you'd be okay if I attempted this? I mean C:RR is your baby, Dan, and I would never proceed with this idea unless you signed off on it.

Absolutely not, have at it. I'm currently working on stuff myself. It's good fun getting back into it.

If you feel that I've got something wrong, just drop me a PM and I'll fix it. Of course, I will credit you and the others as the creators behind C:RR, and that I'm just borrowing it.
As I said, I'm leaving the cliff hanger alone, and my episodes happens later on. Adult Chris, Melinda, and Drea are back where they came from (don't want to deal with them). I might focus on the Rex and Hannah bits first, since I'll have more of a clean slate there.

Feel free to send it over to me before you publish it if you'd like? I'll be able to pick up on any big continuity things.

Need to start re-read the seasons. Maybe I can come up with some ideas again on how the start of season 7 will go, and maybe even more of the episodes of that season. Don't know when I'll start though. As I said, I must re-read the seasons, so I can get some pointers on what would be the best way to go on season 7.

Kind of sad for me to read some of the comments in this thread. I mean that they anticipate a season that would never come. At another site, somebody asked me the following questions:
1. Why there was such a long gap between Reset Reality Check and The Return Of Rex And Hannah?
2. Why I didn't address the cliffhanger that the previous season ended on?
I had to explain that I was not part of the original writing staff when this series was in full swing. It was not until 2021, twelve years after the last season ended, that I joined this board. That was the reason TRORAH was written long after the other episodes. I got permission from Dan to write it.
As for the cliffhanger, I left that alone out of respect for Camille. She clearly knew how she was going to get them out of it, but that idea disappeared along with her. That is why TRORAH is set ten episodes into Season Seven, giving time for the dust to settle. Many were no doubt disappointed when this series ended so suddenly. However, as has been explained elsewhere, the loss of Camille really deep-sixed them. Now, I don't know why Camille left, probably Real Life got in the way (as it tends to do), however, it would have been nice if she had given Dan, Jackie, and the others a heads up first. However, this is a great series, and I was happy to contribute a small part of it

Sadly my real life caught up, so I have not been able to re-read the series. I'm now a fiancé and I have moved. It is sad that Camille just left without warning, she was awesome when it came to the writing of the episodes. Felt like I was there watching what was happening. Is there any way to talk to her so Dan and others can start writing the next season? Or has she gone complete awol?

Congratulations.
I agree.
I can see why the series ended when she left.
I don't think so. Camille hasn't logged in here since 2009, fourteen years ago (and if a member doesn't log in, PM'ng them is useless). Dan, Jackie, and the others did try to contact her (by e-mail, I assume), after she disappeared, but all their attempts went unanswered. Camille was active at FF.net for a while after that, but she hasn't been seen there since 2016.
So, no, there doesn't seem to be any way to reach her, unfortunately.
So it looks like, for the foreseeable future, The Return Of Rex And Hannah stands alone as Season Seven. Of course, you can do what I did and write your own episode (assuming you have the time, that is).

Hi all,
It’s been a few years since we’ve gotten an official update on the series, the last one being Dan mentioning interest in editing and beefing up early season 4. I’ve come to let go of my wish for CRR to continue with more episodes/seasons; I know that ship has sailed and that those involved in the creation of the show have moved on with their personal lives and that is completely understandable.
However, is it possible the Mods involved could perhaps post some kind of summary or short essay on what they had planned for season 7 and beyond? I’ve read forum posts that there were even plans up to potentially season 9. As a fan of this work for over ten years, I’d love to gain some kind of closure on this series—because it was really so perfect to me as a Charmed fan.
I wish all on the forum a healthy and happy New Year of 2024!

Yeah, it would be interesting to see that.
